The next morning everyone wakes up and prepares for their journey. After glancing over Sylrie and trying to use your magic on him...something just isn't working. His eyesight is still gone, and his eyes are milky white with hints of purple specks in them. Medicine check on Sylrie, whoever would like to look him over and has that skill. Arcana would work here as well.
Over the next few days, the special unit called Greywind from Aundair moves carefully through the countryside towards Gregorsin. Keeping to animal trails and off the main road to not call any more undue attention to the mercenary group.
Dot will keep to herself, going over maps and giving simple instructions. Sarge will make sure camp, patrol, and travel is taken care of as you get closer to your objective.
Four days after the cave-in, the sun will rise behind a conglomeration of clouds. You can barely tell that it's morning when the rains start.
Sylrie, still blinded... give me a Con Save, please?
"Wake up, you lot. We're getting close to Gable's Run. A small village of hunters. LT wants us to stop there and locals, maybe hear about any word from Gregorsin." Sarge will go back to the covered campfire and try to salvage the porage he was making for breakfast. "This rain ain't helping us one bit today."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sylrie's spirits were as low as they could be as they traveled further each day. With Johnathan's magics providing no assistance, and his eyesight not returning on it's own, Sylrie's thoughts turned as dark as his field of view. When asked questions he would barely respond, the color drained from him as he merely picked at food instead of having a meal. At night quiet sobs could be heard from his bedroll.

The rain hits your face, running down your forehead into your eyes. As you go to wipe the water away you perceive the blur of your hand's motion. As you dig into your eyes, wiping furiously, you can start to see more and more. There's a slight heat to the area around your eyes, it's warm to the touch. As the minutes progress your vision becomes clearer, more defined. There is a hue to the world that you never noticed before, one that is striking. Everything has a hint of lavender. The grass, the grey clouds, your bedroll. As you look around you can see clearly, maybe even more clearly than you have seen before.
Once a member of Greywind looks upon Sylrie, they will see the change in his eyes as well. And what appears to be a shadow, one that is on his face from an unknown light source. Upon looking closer at Sylrie, you will see that the milkiness of his eyes is now gone and what is left is the oddest colors you have ever seen in a creature's eyes before... It's like he has streaks of purple lightning dancing inside his iris's.

Aria is somewhat cheery at the thought of seeing some Reachers, although still worried about Sylrie and certainly worried about Sivi. As she looks over at the elf to say something, the young woman's eyes widen. "Sylrie, your eyes! Can you see again?"
Kora has been paying close attention to Sylrie over the last few days, after all, it was her order he obeyed that caused the condition. When he begins rubbing furiously at his eyes, she at first thinks he's snapped, and hurries over to stop him from hurting himself, but when he starts to look around, she takes an involuntary step back. "Your eyes..." then, as it becomes clear he can see, she smiles, and then laughs, "Damn, Sylrie, with those eyes, you're goin to have to beat the courtesans off with a stick at your next ball!"

"By the Horned Prince Sylrie! What happened to your eyes? and what's that shadow across your face??" Kash keeps his distance in case its contagious or something
Sylrie looked around the hues of lavender touching every surface, every color being tinted by it. The words the others said barely registered as Sylrie took in the world once more. It had been but a few days traveling but Sylrie greeted his eyesight like an old friend, with fondness, and happiness.
"Horned Prince or no, I can see, but I don't know what you mean..." he said in response to Kash and the others, "...Shadow?" he took his small mirror from his pack, the one that had blinded him underground and began looking at his face. He was nearly startled, the eyes that stared back at him were his, but not his own. Their green had disappeared, replaced entirely by this violet lightning, like a storm of purple.
A single tear formed at the corner of his left eye as he stared into the mirror, he felt it heat up with the heat now present around his eyes. "It's warm here..." he said looking up to the others, while touching his face where the warmth could be felt while simultaneously wiping the tear away. He looked back to the mirror and attempted to make out the shadow others said they saw but he wasn't sure he did see it.

Aria, to you it just looks like a shadow on his face, perhaps a bruise of the likes you've never seen.
Perci and John, you know what this is. You've both heard of them, though you have never seen one. An Aberrant Dragonmark!
((OOG Information about the Aberrant Mark is below:
The twelve dragonmarks are predictable, and their powers are generally constructive. But there is another kind of dragonmark, which is dangerous to both the bearer and the people around them. Aberrant marks often appear when people from different dragonmarked families produce a child, and for this reason, such unions are forbidden by the Twelve. But aberrant dragonmarks can appear on members of any race, at any age, regardless of bloodline. No two aberrant dragonmarks are exactly alike—even if they grant the same power, they might manifest in different ways.
It usually takes time for a character to learn to control an aberrant mark, and in time, people might be hurt by it. This factor has led to the general superstition that people with aberrant dragonmarks are dangerous.
Aberrant marks are feared for another reason, too. Long ago, aberrant marks were more common and some held great powers. Aberrant leader Halas Tarkanan could devastate cities with powerful earthquakes. The Lady of the Plague wielded disease and commanded hordes of vermin. The dragonmarked houses united in an inquisition called the War of the Mark. Some say this was a persecution of innocents, but most feared the aberrants and stood by as the houses hunted them down. Following the War of the Mark, aberrant dragonmarks were few in number and relatively weak.

Curiouser and curiouser. It appears you have manifested an Aberrant Dragonmark of some sort. John says as he inspect Sylrie, getting very up close and personal. As in, right in his face. Was this due to the light? Or our magical interference, maybe? Tell me, do you feel any different?
Yes! An unusual, strange Dragonmark has seemed to manifest itself on you. These marks are called ‘Aberrant Dragonmarks’- they are hard to control and extremely destructive. John speaks, now pacing in circles around the ex-blind soldier. For a while, people Hunted and killed the people with these marks, as they are almost certain to cause destruction where they go. How interesting it is, then, that you gain one at this moment.
Aria blinks, and Feather gives a whinny, sensing the ranger's mostly controlled reaction. "The Houses don't...do that anymore," she reassures Sylrie quietly. "Hunt aberrants, I mean." Almost unconsciously, she rotates her left foot, flexing the calf her own Mark is on.
