Xenophon: Topaz Dragonborn Fighter (ixi's Dragon of Icespire Peak)
((OOG I need to know everyone's positions for this evening. Thank you :) ))
Isuzu works all day, then takes her one-daily meal in the late afternoon in the ship's mess and after retires early to her Greywind company's quarters to meditate and read before going to sleep.
OOC: DM knows better than I where Isuzu is working at during the day so unless some other character(s), PC or NPC draw her away from her routine locations stated above... in the late afternoon and evening there you have it, but no complaints on my part should she end up somewhere not planned otherwise. I hope that gives you what you need to know. Apologies for the delay in responding.
She pauses as she pulls out a sheet of paper, "These are your assigned battle buddies. No questions about it, you are responsible for each other's lives. Kash and Kora, Percival and Johnathan, Sylrie and Isuzu. And I Lt. Do'tavian Winehand and Sergeant Misquo Lorand, or Dot as my friends call me and Misq((OOG Like Misk...lol))."
She puts the paper away and sits down, "Any questions, Greywind? Ask them now while we have time."
Isuzu turns her gaze to Sylrie and gives the Elf a respectful bow upon hearing the pair-bonding assignments. Her face is expressionless as she does not have any preferences what-so-ever... as one comrade in her eyes is as good as another to be paired with, thus she has no complaints, comments or questions.
She will walk over to Kash, and offer a fist bump. "Don't worry, Kash, if you turn yourself into a potted plant, I'll scoop you up and get us out of there."
To the LT, "Sir, will we be operating separately, or just paired up but together? Or both..." she says, realizing she's probably just answered her own question. "And is there any chance we might be recognized? Any regular troops in the area? Any units from Faderock? Or have any of us traveled in these parts before? You or Sarge?"

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Sylrie instinctively returned Isuzu's bow, it felt awkard as he hadn't done so since he was a kid; but even then it was only to fit in as the son of a noble, didn't want to disappoint his father any further after all. He noticed Isuzu's quietness, her expressionless face, being paired with him seemed to spark no interest at all. 'How embarrassing'he thought to himself, his confidence taking a hint, but his grin never wavering beneath his well maintained mustache.

"And is there any chance we might be recognized? Any regular troops in the area? Any units from Faderock? Or have any of us traveled in these parts before? You or Sarge?"
"The chances of recognition are slim to none, we will be operating in the black. No one but our direct line commander and those in Fairhaven even knows what our missions are. Even the crew of the Vexation are unaware of our activities other than where they are dropping us off. As for you pairing assignments, this is for your protection in a hostile land. The Reaches belongs to Aundair, but they are not friendly to her soldiers. You may be tasked with assignments for you and your battle buddy only, we will see how this plays out once we have boots on the ground. There are no regular troops in the area, there are no soldiers from Faderock. Every other soldier in the Aundarian Army and Navy is placing their War effort in the War itself, while we have been tasked with this mission of securing the farming villages that supply Aundair with essential food and supplies. Neither Sarge or I have been in these parts, so this is a new experience for us as well."
"It needs to be said there are certain things that you should look out for. Especially our magic users. Beware of the Ashbound. There reach is far, they have eyes all over the Eldeen Reaches, especially in areas of civilization. Initiates smudge their faces with wood ash, what they say is to represent damage done to nature because of civilization. Most of the members of the Ashbound are shifters, that DOES NOT mean all shifters are Ashbound. The closer we get to the Woods, the more shifters we will see.'
"Other signs to look for, a claw or a fang tied on a leather cord on their neck. Ashbound also displays the skeleton of fire-ravaged tress, sometimes on their faces or chests. Sometimes on their garments."

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"I, as your Commanding Officer, will still give you orders. I am leading this team and our missions. But, in the public eye, Sarge will be the one deferred to. And we can all trust he will do an excellent job as the leader of our mercenary band. Excellent question, Kora." Lt. Winehand opens a map on the table that shows the small fishing town of Cree and the surrounding farms and boathouses. "As you can see, Cree isn't too large. On average there are about 1,000 souls living there. Most of the community work in the fishing industry. Some of the bravest fishermen on Lake Galifar, as I am sure most of you know the stories."
"Captain Notak Ninefinger commands a fishing vessel The High Regard, his crew will see us safely delivered to our destination. Once in Cree, we will go to The Grey Deer Tavern. We will be meeting with a shifter local named Amethyst Doomclaw. A ranger with loyalties to the Crown who asked for our assistance in these matters."
Sarge speaks up, "Once we reach The Grey Deer Tavern, we will get the loft under the name Jarlin Smokeshot. We will eat, keep to ourselves and wait for contact from Amethyst."

Isuzu remains quiet, folding her arms in front of her chest, her silent gaze seems to fall upon Koranasha giving the Kalashtar a slight knowing smile. In her mind, Isuzu could almost hear her sister's far off voice singing the song she had attached to Kora and found oddly enough that it suited her. Turning away Isuzu looks once more at Sylrie studying him closely...
She dismisses the unit and tells y’all to get some rest before tomorrow. ”No more extra duty, the Captain and his crew have it from here. That’s an order.”
For the rest of the evening the group realizes life on a ship can be quite boring when you’re sitting around. The next morning and day go by at a slow crawl. And by the evening you’re almost willing to swim beside the ship just to have something to do.
Stamding on the deck with all of your gear, you see your horses being load onto the smaller vessel. It’s going to be a tight fit, with all the mounts above deck and the Lake becoming rockier and rockier as a westerly wind moves in.
“There she is, Greywind; The High Regard!” Sarge beams as he waves to the human man on the deck of the smaller ship. He’s wearing bright pink gloves, a pair of large glasses, and a majestic cape made out even brighter pink material. “Notak, met him once in Passage. Lost quite a bit of dragons to him. That’s why I don’t gamble anymore...”
”Thank you, Captain for your hospitality. Safe travels across the Galifar. Aundair Dares!” The lieutenant salutes the Captain of the Vexation as he nods in appreciation her way.
The crew of the Vexation gathers around Greywind, thanking them and saying their goodbyes.
”If this war doesn’t take us, maybe I’ll see you in the capitol city one day, Sy.” Hilla will say to Sylrie, “I know my cousin is always looking for those loyal to the Crown. His eyes are always watching.”
“Thanks fer letting me take care of yer beautiful creatures. I put some...” Siddel’s voice goes to a whisper as he leans into Johnathan’s ear and says, “...treats in their saddlebags fer them. I trust you know what to do with them.”
”Ye and yer talk about dreamin, that’ll stay with me, lass.” The old timer says to Kora as he walks below deck now that the horses are safely aboard the next vessel.
Jakcoo stares at Isuzu, a quizzical look in his eyes before he approaches her. “Is that really allnthere is after this, Cleric? Fields of death? That wasn’t an interpretation, was it?”
“Well, you’re a surprise, son,” Master Killingsworth says to Kash, “I’m glad you didn’t blow up my kitchen anymore than you did, and you’re good with a knife.”
”We know how much you love a fine cheese, so here you are,” Arya hands Kash a wheel of cheese, a wheel of Brie. Soft in texture, it’s pale white color has a slightly grey tinge under the a find rind of white mould. “This is the Queen’s Cheese, a Brie de Meaux.”
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."
Serandis Mendaen (Aereni Elven Rogue/maybe one day Wizard)- Project Point Playtest
The minotaur thanks Master Killingsworth for the cheese and the opportunity to work with him and Arya. To Arya he will offer one last joke...
"Why don’t pirates shower before they walk the plank?" and then he'll wink at her "Because they’ll just wash up on shore later!" and he'll laugh then get all serious for a moment and say "Keep an eye on that Master Killingsworth, he's good people and will do you right. As for the dagger I gave you earlier, keep it safe, that's the best steel in all of Drooam and was given to me by my Uncle when I was old enough to use it, take good care of it, and it will take good care of you."
He'll then transition over to the deck of The High Regard and wave back at the crew.
”If this war doesn’t take us, maybe I’ll see you in the capitol city one day, Sy.” Hilla will say to Sylrie, “I know my cousin is always looking for those loyal to the Crown. His eyes are always watching.”
Sylrie nodded to Hilla, "Thanks for letting me keep you company in the nest these last few days. I'm sure both of us will come out the other side of this war, I'll write ya a letter to let you know I'm right" he grinned and winked at her before adding, "Maybe that cousin of yours, you, and I could all grab lunch in the Capital once all is said and done to celebrate."
Once Hilla and his goodbyes were exchanged Sylrie gave a salute to the captain of the Vexation, a slight wave to Coo and the others, and then headed over to the deck of The High Regard with Kash.
Once he was standing beside Kash he rubbed his shoulder a little bit, still feeling the pain from his wound, and then leaned in slightly so only Kash could hear his words, "You going to tear up big guy?"
