Percival

Percival gives a bow to the crew of the Vexation before he heads over to the High Regard. "Thank you for carrying us and may you have safe travels on your journey back. Aundair dares!"

Isuzu

Isuzu in response to the man's question draws close to Jakoo as she brings her forefinger to her lips as if to shhh his words as she whispers to him, "life is uncertain; death is certain. You pressed me for a story and I gave you what you asked for... make of it as you will." Isuzu then turns a cool gaze to Kora for a brief moment her eyes narrow ever so slightly as she walks away from Jakoo without speaking another word ready to board the High Regard and get on with the mission.

Kashkaval

The minotaur looks down at Sylrie and responds "How come you didn't kiss your girlfriend goodbye?" and smirk.

Kora

Coming up on Sylrie and Kashkaval, she laughs at the minotaur's last dig. "That was a good one, Kash! Because they spent a lot of time alone in the crow's nest. I get it. Have you named your new girlfriend yet?" and she points at the wheel of Brie.

Kashkaval looks at Kora and with all seriousness says "Her name is Brie de'Meaux...."

Sylrie 

Sylrie blushes a little, "Who, uh, Hilla. She's nice, but my heart belongs to another" with Kora standing there now, and hearing Kash's comment on the cheese Sylrie grins, "Only you Kashie, only you would fall in love with cheese" he then chuckles a bit. 

OOC > Sorry for double-posting and also rewinding, but I needed to get that dig in on Kash before Sylrie tried a comeback! :)

Kora leaving the ship

She nods to the stable master and thanks him for caring for the horses. She greets and thanks several of the soldier-sailors (marines?) on board, with whom she has trained over the time on ship, and takes special care to thank Master Rigaby for his training, and also the stories (we never did figure out if they were about her father... another day).

Kora on the High Regard

She will swing across to the High Regard with confidence, and after some milling of crew and horses, will end up next to Kash and Sylrie as the ships separate. "I'll be glad to put boots on solid ground again, to be sure. I'll admit to being more than ready to get on with this mission."

She looks around the High Endeavor, then nods towards the flamboyant captain. "The LT speaks highly of him, and I guess if he came in this thing, he's braver than I thought."

Kora and Isuzu

Not the most perceptive of soldiers, Kora does not notice Isuzu's cool regard... or does she?

Kashkaval (to Kora)

"She may not look like much but she's got it where it counts......" then he adds "I hope...."

Sylrie 

Sylrie laughed, "Well now I feel awkward about asking you to share" 

Kora

She looks confused for a moment, then starts to laugh, ending up doubled over, not quite on the floor. Through her tears she says, "No! No, he meant, Kash meant the... the boat! Not the cheese!" And she keeps snorting and crying, eventually getting hold of herself, occasionally you can make out, "...she's got it where it counts!" followed by more stifled laughs.

Sylrie 

Sylrie finds Kora's laugh contagious, despite it being his misunderstanding, and joins her in her laughter... "I thought it was a weird thing to say about Cheese, but..." drawing in another large gulp of air, "it is Kashie afterall"

"I must have missed something funny." Percival says as his attention is drawn by Kora's laughter.

Kashkaval also laughs boisterously with Kora and Slyrie, but pauses for a moment when Percival chimes in before going back to belly laughing.

John frowns. I don’t get it. I mean, I guess it is funny, but not really.... are you alright, Kora? You sound like you’re dying on the floor over there.

The gangplank connects the two vessels is pulled back as the last members of Greywind make it on board. 

"Welcome aboard the High Regard, I am Captain Notak. I am a humble fisherman and escort, please make yourselves at home. We will be arriving in Cree by tomorrow morning, Cheffy has made a nice fish stew if you are hungry." Captain Notak Ninefingers says as he introduces himself and offers his ship for your services. 

"Your crate is below deck, Dot. The boys and I will give you some space while you get your affairs in order." He says to LT as you look around the ship you see that it is a simple two-mast ship, not much room on the main deck due to your mounts taking up most of the space. 

In the distance,you will see the find outline of Wroagar's vexation going towards the horizon. Protecting the Lake against all threats, foreign and domestic. 

"Alright, Greywind. Let's go take off our uniforms and get into something more mission appropriate," She will lead the way down the wooden ladder to the deck below, everburning lanterns are shining brightly and you see a large crate with the supplies for this mission. Outfits for the mercenaries that fit your needs and look.

Percival

Percival will change out of his uniform and into the mercenary outfit. He very quickly notices the difference in feel between this outfit and the glamorweave of the Aundairian military uniforms. His new clothes are of darker, more earthy colors and are generally much more worn in. He does not discard his sword, as it is enchanted, but he does dirty it up to make it look less special. No one will confuse us for the Queen's soldiers while we're in these. "Should we adopt aliases while we're here as well, Dot?"

Kora

She will drop trou, as it were, with a modicum of modesty, but not too much, and change into whatever is available. She is, however, keeping her chainmail (it is magical). She'll exchange her many blades for ones of lesser quality and/or not obviously made by Aundair. New gloves, new boots, all of it. Don't want to be given away by shiny boots. "This is just like what we'd wear at home to hunt womp rats," she notes, testing the flexibility of her new clothes with some stretches and reaches.

"How many days until we reach Cree?" she asks someone, embarrassed that she doesn't remember exactly what the LT said about that in the briefing.

She will start to outfit a pack from the supplies, while listening to the questions and answers of the rest of the unit.

"What do we call ourselves? We're not Greywind anymore. What's this mercenary band's name?"

"Tomorrow morning. Try not to let Dot know that you aren't paying attention." He says with a smile that says 'I got your back'

Kora mouths a "thank you" to Percival.
