This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
First a note: I've decided to make all of the rolls below twice in case you decide that Standobras has advantage or disadvantage on any of these rolls.
When first meeting each of the potential candidates, Standobras first thanks them for taking the time to come and talk to us (he’s being honest) and informs them that, currently, there are two applicants so that they’re aware of the competition. He also informs them as to who the other applicant is and that he’ll show the same courtesy to the other applicant.
He asks each candidate if they’ve ever of the other and, if so, what are their thoughts about them (he’s trying to gain insight as to how they deal with competition/pressure and also what they’re made off character-wise – i.e. are will they badmouth or be respectful of the competition) Insight check: 10 / 12
He then informs them that, should they wish it, they’ll have a room on the premises (we can visit it now if they so desire, and Standobras will apologise for the current state of affairs but that, as they can see, we’re making renovations at a quick pace). This tour will be of the entire business facilities and what we’re thinking of doing, as per the super awesome drawings on the page on Roll20 (NOT the info about the Goblin Hole though). He’ll also say that the same courtesy will be extended to any staff although they will be living in a common room. This will be followed by a question as to how they would go about hiring staff and then managing them (looking for good leadership and management skills). Insight check: 16 / 12
He’ll then ask them what type of questions they’d ask potential staff. This is going to be followed by Standobras asking the candidate some of these same questions and see how they react. Insight check: 6 / 19
Thoughout the entire interview Standobras is also gauging their potential business sense. Intelligence check: 20 / 14 and Wisdom check: 7 / 8
Throughout the interview Standobras is being very attentive to any signs of deception Insight check: 17 / 9
He’s also trying to ascertain their ability to deal with conflict by asking a number of questions about a few hypothetical scenarios and how they would deal with them (e.g. eruption of a bar fight, customer not happy with a drink, customer passing out from drunkenness, customer not happy that a particular drink/liquor is currently not available). For this I’m thinking a straight-up Wisdom check to see if it all makes sense (I’m not actually looking for specific answers unless you want to make up answers for all of these questions for both of them). Wisdom check: 13 / 4
Second-to-last will be Standobras asking them what they think of the drink names I sent previously on Discord and how they would go about making those. For this question, I’m just looking to see how creative they are. Don’t actually need specifics, just a general idea.
Standobras’ last question (unless I think of something else in the meantime of course) will be if they’re ok with the fact that it will take some time before we can actually operate, potential up to 2-3 months and that, if they’re not, we understand and we thank them for meeting with us.
He ends each meeting by thanking them again for their time and tells them that we’ll will let them know what our decision is within a tenday.
Neither have heard of the other. This might be because it has been a while since Lione has been in Waterdeep. Tap Tap shows more of an interest in learning about the other applicant.
Tap Tap seems to have a more solid idea on where to find employees. She knows people who have experience and are looking to work in a nicer place.
Lione is slower and more thoughtful when answering questions while Tap Tap seems to be a bit quicker with her answers and you get a feeling for forthrightness from her.
Lione, probably because of his age and experience, seems to have a better sense for business.
You don’t get the impression that either of them are being dishonest during the interview.
Lione seems more practical in his answers to what he would do in certain situations, (a fight breaking out, a customer not liking their drink ext.)
Game
Lione will look at you uncertainly and say, "I'm sorry I'm- not sure what you mean?" You think he's being honest.
Tap Tap will look at you quizzically. She doesn't seem to understand what you're getting at but there's a curiosity there. "Bubber?" (She says this back to you in your own voice.)
So, here’s Standobras’ take on the candidates (X indicates who Standobras thinks would suit our purposes best in that field):

Note that this is by no means an in-depth analysis but more of a ‘’gut feeling’’ based on Jackie’s responses. That said, I paid close attention to the wording she used.
Now, if we allocate the same value to the points then it’s clear that Tap Tap likely would be the better candidate. However, a good business sense is of prime importance if we don’t want the business to be run into the ground. Hence, Standobras will recommend that we go with Tap Tap with the understanding that we’ll have to supervise a little more closely or, preferably, get her some training so that she can improve.

Games only actions, or questions will be as such for the both of them. Anything in parentheses is added for Tap Tap.
