A lone man walks through the doors of the 'Spider, wrapped in a cloak. When the door closes behind him, he unwraps himself and sits by the fire, warming himself. He is dressed in heavy chainmail, and on his back is a long spearlike polearm, which would be recognized as an elvish earspoon to one who knew his weapons. He sports a long beard, with a few grey streaks. Despite that, his face does not look very old, and has few wrinkles. Once he is finished warming himself up, he heads over to the bar area.

"What's a man gotta pay fer a decent drink an' a place ta sleep 'round here?"

The elf at the bar looks up.

"Well, it'd be a couple of gold pieces to stay for the night.  Or, if you're looking to enter the Arena, you'd get free room and board as a contestant."

"Aye, I've already signed up. Fortunate fer me, I jus' picked this place by sheer luck."(Assuming there are other taverns in this town)

(There aren't.  This town is quite small.)

Is there someone that sells divine oriented spellscrolls? Because Solsis would head there next if known. 

Solsis marvels at the assortment, and along with enough paper and ink supplies to make a 1st level scroll of his own(25gp), he will purchase the chaos bolt, and ray of sickness for 40 gp each. "Thanks again, Mister Meliamne. Have a pleasant eve!" He hustles out of the building. 

 (There is one.  Note that I'll be installing a three spell scroll limit for now, mostly to keep spellcasters from bringing infinite supplies of shield scrolls in (like Og and his 50 scrolls).)

In that case, Solsis will hold off on purchasing the paper and ink supplies to check out what the divine crafter if allowed at this point?

Would any of shops sell/enchant +1 weapons? Theren is building up a decent money collection but can't use scrolls so not much really to buy

Gad, a living fortress of grey-green scales, beady brown eyes, and armed to the teeth, walks in to the tavern with his thumb claws looped into the belt holding his dungy colored kilt and a bit less swagger to his step.

"'ey! Anyone 'ere know where dey be keep'n da horses?"

He called out. As soon as it gets pointed out to grab himself a Warhorse, some Scale Mail barding, Saddlebags, Saddle, Military, and pay up for at least a month's worth of food and stabling.  

(I already subtracted the gold for the items PHB price ahead of time if its even possible to acquire those things)

Once Gad tortle stops horsing around, he heads back into the wilderness looking for a river to sit by, and begin communing with the ancestral spirits. The first he hears tries to undershell him on his path. Others praise him for the tortle-riffic idea. None can get quite as under his shell as the first Gad, the last to eventually heed his prayers for guidance. Things looked beak for a while as the old Mossback sought to challenge him; even going so far as to draw out his soul for a duel.

But Gad Galu held presereved through gritted teeth and sheer determination. By the time of his next match, thick, tattoo-like black bands appeared on his arms, and a single but similar band went across his face where his headband mask once was, signifying the completion of the trial. 

(I need to see some art of a tortle on a horse, google images failed me)

(I need to get one opponent who isn’t mounted... and by the speech from introductions, I think one of the level 1s has an elephant... of course he does.)

(You may or may not have did that to yourself... But don't worry. I may or may not plan to use said horse the way people think.)

(@Wooby: You have the choice of rolling for gold or going with the equipment option. Guess he went with the later.. though I figured those are quite expensive than starter adventurer money.)
