Nirzeg blinks away the phantom image of a person wrapped in bondage and strapped to the elf like a common sword, and then pinched the bridge of his nose. "I really need to sleep one of these days."He mutters, and then after clearing his throat looks up. "You'll forgive me if I don't share your enthusiasm? No offense, just... eh." He coughs again more awkwardly this time, and looks around. "I was wondering about the... going rate of spell trade? I've managed to finish a few old formulas from way back when, but wish to expand my repertoire."Nirzeg asks as Lovack slithers its way from out of the tangled mess of hair to regard the elf.

The Gith tugs at the ends of his fu Manchu as he looked over the scrolls. "Not the ones I was after, but... hmm... I'll take the Longstrider and Magic Missile ones off your hands. As well as the ink and spare practice parchment for inscribing at one of these into my book." He requests. "On that note, how often would you say you get a different variety of scrolls in? Few days? A week?"He asks, looking back and forth between his fishing out the 130gp (minimum) he would need for the whole order and that of the elf.

Nirzeg gives an appreciative nod and small smile. "Expect me then to, and every other two days at least."Once he has both scrolls, ink, and parchment in hand, Nirzeg retires back at the Three-Legged Spider to long, bliss filled process of putting formulas into his spellbook.

A war forged (6'6" tall, charcoal grey "skin" with gold paint highlighting each edge of its plating and a gold J-94 on its left chest piece, it has 7 white gems that have been implanted into its skull to form a subtle mohawk, it wears a white with gold embroidered loin cloth, and has one hand axe hanging from each side of its waist) walks up to the 3 legged spider and sets its backpack down.

(In the CoC, compensation tokens are given to those who level to an odd level on a loss, not from an odd level, I believe. Of course you're free to do differently here.)
Olwen will redeem her token for some studded leather, and try to sell her old leather.

The dwarven shopkeeper hands you some finely crafted studded leather, and takes your old armor for 6 gp (roll any Charisma skill to attempt to get a better price).

Gad, a living fortress of grey-green scales, beady brown eyes, and armed to the teeth, walks in with his thumb claws looped into the belt holding his dungy colored kilt and a swagger to his step. He gives J-94 a nod in passing before asking around or finding the smith. All that is wanted is a pair of kodachi and a shield while at it. He finds the bar afterwards or the cook and asks about the nearby game.
(I realized in hindsight if I had a shield, and was allowed to be consider still wielding it while withdrawn in my shell, just have my arms mostly stuck at to my sides, I could've stalled that match for like forever.)
(Maybe even used rapid spin with axes instead)

(Sorry, keep forgetting to address this.)
"Aye, I've got a few old scrolls floating around here. Let me see what I've got for you . . ."
The elf goes into a back room, and comes out with (38, 38, 38) (let's try that again without the stupid 23, 7, 6) scrolls of color spray, longstrider and magic missile, as well as (36, 12) scrolls of cloud of daggers and earthbind.
"I'd part with any of the simpler ones for 40 gp, and the more complex ones for 300 gp."

Latrius appears to be a tall, cloaked elf. He hands you a form asking your name and profession, and then sends you off.

He'll take your scale mail and either your net or trident for the scimitars.
(Old armor is worth less than new armor, and doesn't sell for as much.)
