Retiog watches as the half elf searches unsuccessfully, casually wiping away some of the blood from a cut on his forearm. "Next one then?" he asks Alici moving to one of the other closed sarcophagi.

If nothing is found then he will move on to the last one.
The second sarcophagus has a body like the first. Each are shriveled and lost since dead but wearing fine armor with amazingly intricate weapons. One has a scimitar the other a bow with a silvery quiver of arrows. Both have bejeweled daggers but none of the jewels look like the one Gimble described! The third and final sarcophagus however is unlike the other two. This burial has no weapons but a book with runes and undercommon etched onto silver pages bound in black leather that seem iridescent in the light. This woman with a shriveled body but still long silvery hair wears a large black gem stone around her next!
"Jackpot," Gimble exclaims moving to investigate around the stone.
After a few moments the half elf removes it having lifted the drow woman's head and took it. Waiting a moment nothing reacts.
"We'll, seems we ought to be on our way," Gimble says getting up to his feet and tucking the stone safely away. "Let's put the lids back eh? No point in making it easy on the next lot," he adds moving to do so still not touching anything else in the sarcophgi!

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Hmmm, says Nat, eyeing the impressive-looking weapons in the other sarcophagi. You really want to leave those here for the next bunch of looters? Especially after we just destroyed the guards, and he nods down at what remains of the Dread Warriors on the floor. He shrugs. I wouldn't want to desecrate a tomb of course,he lies, but I reckon those things are better with the Order than with the Empire...
"Or maybe better left here for the undead than with either, they do look nice though..." Duc's voice trails off wistfully as she eyes the quiver and arrows "Nat can you tell if they are magical?"

Alici scoffs, "A warrior buried with their weapons carries them to the afterlife. We shouldn't rob them of their defenses, the road to heaven can be long and difficult... we have what we came for, better to leave them be."
Nat takes a closer look at the weapons, and inspects them as much as he can while absolutely not touching them. Arcana: 22, if at disadvantage then also 6.
"I was sent for the stone and nothing else," Gimble replies. "I got this map from a friend who knew I was taking only the stone," he explains looking at the sarcophagi then the party. "Anyhow Alici right," he adds next looking around. "We best not linger. Let's close these up and get moving," he urges next.

"Well, I guess if that is what you'd agreed, honour among thieves it is then." Duc mutters as she helps close the tomb, after taking one last look at the quiver and arrows.

Alici nods, "A place for everything... so they say." She waits for everyone to evacuate, then helps close the doors. "If we have time to mask our tracks it might be worthwhile as well. I'm no tracker, but a skilled one would likely be able to tell we've been here."
Yes, let's close the door, says Nat as he checks his pack. He frowns. I don't have any trap kits with me,he says, disappointed. I thought it might be nice to leave a surprise for whoever comes here next...
Moving out of the tomb Gimble allows the party to close the doors and he returns to the rope. Gimble secures all his gear and then begins the climb up. His nimble frame moves quickly but midway up the party hears a rumbling from the darken abyss that drops off from the stair landing and the massive doors. Gimble then moves more quickly up the rope and the party watches as he climbs to the top pulling himself up onto the atrium level.
"Quickly now," Gimble says in hushed but urgent tones. "I....I don't like the sound of that," he adds next as his voice echoes around the party some 75ft down.

Alici climbs the ropes after Nat practically pushing him up the rope as she scales it with well practiced haste. "Come on Nat, climb! 'Else I'll strap you to my bag and carry you!"

"That doesn't sound good." Retiog begins to follow after the others up the rope. He pauses a moment, and gives Duc a look - unsure to leave the genasi behind, but having seen her abilities in the arena he quickly puts that behind him.

Nat nods and doesn't press the issue, helping to put the lids back on the sarcophagi if his help is needed.
(Saute reallywants that scimitar. Oh so hard to snatch, but...)
"Stealing from the dead is not something I want to continue. It's bad enough that we have taken this stone!" Retiog begins to close up the sarcophagi.
"The stone was stolen by the Dynasty if you must know so...let's say we're returning it to its proper place," Gimble replies.
The party then closes the sarcophagi back heading back out through the hive out of the tomb.
"Shall we close the doors too," Gimble then replies standing in the threshold of the tomb.

Nat heads to the rope and climbs as quickly as he can.
(If needed: Athletics 6 That's a 9 if Acrobatics is okay).
(Hopefully Retiog and Alici can catch Nat as he falls down into their faces...)
"I'll bring up the rear, I'll float up if necessary when the last one of you are climbing. Go on, get moving."
Duc waits rapier at the ready whole the others start to climb, lighting a torch as she does.

Nat slides off the rope comically before stepping back and remains on the ground with Duc as Alici then Retiog scale the rope without a problem.
75 feet, give me another check scaling up!
Nat and Duc perception checks, please.
