Silver just smacks Kestrell on the back of his head "Even women need to feel welcomed in a tavern. Not that we run one, but all the best brothels in town cater to both men and women. Why shouldn't we as a tavern cater to both men and women as well."Knowing that they are headed for a more high end area of Waterdeep he will change his armor to look like a nice suit and tie his hair "If we are going to be with the fancy people, we may as well try to look like them."
OOC: I don't know if you'll want a disguise check since he is just putting his hair up and using the magic of his armor to make it more like a noble would wear. Just let me know.
As you all stand around watching a nondescript man walks up. "Rongquan said you might be coming by. Please follow me." Glaring down his nose a bit he adds, "and do not interrupt the actors."
You're all led to the front row, center section of seats where a burly and jovial Shou man with a braided goatee sits. "Ahh, I wondered if you would come to see me. Rumor has it you've struck out on finding the stone. Pitty that. If you're finally willing to work with Jarlaxle, I can tell you were to find Fenerus."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
SIlver just looks at the man "Maybe, but first we'd need to see that the information is good." he just sits next to the man looking at the stage "It's not a no, just a we need to have confidence that you aren't going to screw us over."
Rongquan stares at Silver for a moment before chuckling. "Try to con and conman are we? But since the information on the Xanathar cellar hideout was a bust I do feel I owe it to you. After all, the wind is blowing in our direction! I’ve learned that Fenerus Stormcastle was arrested by the City Watch for theft and taken to a courthouse in the Castle Ward to face the judgment of a magister. No doubt he hid the stone before his capture. You must speak to him right away. You’ll need to devise some sort of ruse to get close to Fenerus. I urge against violence, or you might find yourself locked up beside him. Find out where he hid the stone, let me know and let us work together to solve this mystery and help the city, ok?"
Elon ponders the idea of facing the watch again. This makes his blood boil but he will do his best to stay cool and follow what the others think is best.

The party makes it way from the dock ward up to the castle ward and to the Tower of the Order. As you enter in you find one Penlador Cromviel (a older high elf male who some of you met when you were here before). After a brief discussion you are escorted to Barnibus Blastwind's office. The mage is surprised and not exactly happy to see you all, but he does remain polite. Once everyone is in the office and the door closed behind a leaving Penlador, Barnibus asks, "So what brings the Trollskull Tribe to see me today?"
Kestrell nods and smiles while he extends his hand to Barnibus. "Barney! Good to see you again. I was hoping we would have the chance to work together once more! Say, we're having a grand opening shortly. Perhaps you and some of the crew should stop by, first round is on the house!"
And then he proceeds to explain about why they need to speak to Fenerus, who is in the Watches care.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I am sorry Barnibus. I know it looks like we keep on getting involved but it's more a case of we just can't seem to get out of this anymore. And I know you have tried to help us, we have all taken a shine to you, especially Kestrell. But ever since we were basically attacked thanks to the involvement of those devil worshiping Gralhund's and there other evil ilk, we just keep on attracting unwanted attention. And Fenerus' seems to be the key to this ongoing war for us because like it or not, everyone now knows that the Trollskull... I'm not sure if Tribe is correct, more of a loose collection of like minded individuals who are trying to seek justice for murder and aide the city during this dark time of gang war, Mystra be praised... well that we are at the centre of it", the pouting cleric says in a very apologetic tone.
Barnibus winces when Kestrell calls him Barney but listens to his tale. Before he can respond Phaedra jumps in. As she speaking it's clear that Barnibus is thinking hard about something for a bit then he grabs a sheet of paper, pen, and ink and starts to write.
"This isn't a call I can make. Although the Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors works with the guard we don't have any legal authority concerning prisoners. What I can and will do is write up a letter asking whichever magister is handling this case to assist you as this is related to an open case for us. Hopefully the magister will be willing to go along."
Once he finishes writing the letter he rolls it up, melts some wax to seal it and puts his stamp on it before handing it to Kestrell.
"Take this to the courthouse and ask to speak to the magister on duty. Depending on the number of cases they have you may have to wait a bit. Good luck."
Elon tips his head to 'Barney' and files out the door with the others.
as they get close to the court house, Elon speaks up.
"I'm not sure if we should all go and bumrush the court house. I'm sure my presents and possibly Silver's would not help anything. I can stay outside and wait if you all would like?"
Kestrell takes the rolled scroll and puts it in his jacket pocket. Not meaning to, but somehow crumpling the neatly rolled scroll.
"One more thing before we go, do you have any more cool magic spells you can do? Maybe some bright lights, or or!" and his voice raises with enthusiasm, "How about make it look like a majestic elk is in the corner of the room?!? Large antlers, big ears, dark brown fur, real thick neck, in the height of the rut, you know?"
Silver just looks at Elon "The thing about what I do is to keep myself from being known and I do a pretty good job when some people aren't running their mouths about it in public." he looks to his companions "I say we just split into teams. One distracts the people and the others sneak in to talk to our friend."
"Thankyou Barnibus, I will light a candle in prayer for you."
As they start to head down the street and Elon and Silver are in conversation, Phaedra adds.
"I think the point of the letter from Barnibus is that we don't have to do any distracting. It is a legitimate request from a member of the Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors. I do think it a good idea that all of us don't try to enter however."
