Kestrell jumps back in surprise at the sight of the wounded Kenku, almost falling into Vassa. The Kenku doesn't appear to be any immediate threat so Kestrell says:
"Hello. Are you hostile? Do you need assistance? Are you the pretty one?"
Aenio binds the Kenku and searches him for anything of value.

Are we ever sure that we exist? Do we have feelings? Or are we just NPC's designed to think highly? If so what is our purpose? Why are we here? Who are the players? Or are there Players?
The wounded Kenku looks up to Kestrell, It's eyes affixed to the human ranger as it pushes itself as far as it can into the corner it's eyes wide with fear, meekly it takes its mace from its back and the dagger that hangs at its hip placing them on the floor before saying"Hostile"with Kestrels voice then shaking it head rapidly. The kenku then point at itself, once again using Kestrels voice to speak to Kestrel"Need assistance" it's voice changes to a higher pitch nasley males voice "Lost."
And finally to answer the third question the kenku seems to mimic a voice that sounds like it belongs to a deshivled old woman"YOU ULGY FEATHERED FREAK. Not the pretty one.''
the words 'the pretty one' sounding like Kestrels voice and 'not' sounding similar to the higher pitched voice that it mimicked before. the kenku is wearing white robes with symbols and small scryps in halfing written across it and what seems to be a drum strapped to its back
Having never met a kenku before, Lockbox was horrified by the different sounds coming from their mouths. He wasn't one to fall prone to fear, but some things were just flat out creepy.
"That ain't right, it shouldn't have all those voices!" Lockbox walks towards the tied up Kenku and looks at it in its face, "Where did you steal those voices? Do you eat souls? WHAT ARE YOU?!?!" He yells in the tied up bird creatures face, ready to strike the soul stealer in a moments notice. He is shaking, and no one can be sure if it is in anger.
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"That's not right. Listen to this thing's voice! No harm, until your soulless and your voice, is now his! Or hers!" Lockbox says to Kestrell, before getting closer to the bird demon and asking again in a harsh tone, "I'm going to ask you again, What ARE you?"

'Hearing the sounds of voices, including Lockbox's shouting from the otherside of the stairs, Vassa leaves his study of the door and come around to see what all the commotion is about. Seeing another Kenku, this one wounded and seemingly in need of assistance, the bard kneels down beside the feathered being with a calming hand extended towards both Lockbox and the bird creature,'
"Peace, friends. Let us not make enemies needlessly, Locky. Can't you see that it... he... or she, I mean, is wounded?"
'If the kenku permits it, the bard will stroke it's black feathered cheek with the back of his hand and, lacking the means to heal its wounds, will sing a few lines from an old Amnish folk song to calm the clearly agitated creature,'
"I walk along the city streets So dark with rage and fear And I, I wish that I could be that bird And fly away from here I wish I had the wings to fly away from here, yeah."
[OOC] Vassa will give 1d6 of bardic inspiration to the kenku to be added to one ability check, attack roll or saving throw made in the next 10 minutes.
Honourable mention to the great Annie Lennox for the lyrics! :D

"You're willing to consort with this soul eater? BAH!" Lockbox will heed his friend's words, even if he doesn't agree with them. This creature doesn't need a song, it needs to die. But what would happen to all the souls within it? What is a soul? Does Lockbox even have one? Too many thoughts of words and things going through his thick metallic skull. Stuff he couldn't comprehend, and he wasn't sure he'd want to.
"Of course I have a soul," He can be heard muttering to himself as he walks towards the door and looks out at the street. Staring out he listens to Vassa's words. They seem comforting, but for this creature, they may be a waste.

The kenku's eyes widen with worry as lockbox, the metal giant yells in worry and anger as he readies to strike the scared bird creature. Looking about in fear and anguish the kenku jumps as the bard caresses it feathers. Its feathers puffing up and its body going completely still still with fear before relaxing and finding much peace in the simple song that the bard sings, closing its eyes and gently swaying to the bards diddy even softly mimicing the song after its done. The kenku looks about the room takes a deep breath and says in the same nasaly high pitched voice as before.
Asariel crouches down to the kenku and says soothingly "oh you poor thing, how could you say that about him/her lockbox!" she turns back to the kenku "are you ok? do you need help?" "I am Asariel Velet a pleasure to meet you Drig"
'Vassa watches with concern as Lockbox as stomps back around the corner, before looking to the ever-calm ranger with one questioning eye-brow raised. Finally turning back to Asariel and Drig, Vassa quietly watches the exchange between the kind and gently spoken sorceress and the bird-creature, listening carefully to the creature's words and sharing loaded glances with Kestrell periodically throughout.'
[OOC] Vassa has positioned himself beside but slightly behind the creature, so that the Kenku can't see the bard's face, but also so that the half-drow and Kestrell can see each other's faces. I am performing the help action to assist Kestrell in an insight check, granting Kestrell advantage on his roll if possible.

As Kestrell studies this Drig fellow he notices that his outfit is unique in the room and when he looks into his eyes he sees such sadness. If he's acting, he's amazingly good. It's far more likely that he's telling the truth.
Asariel stands up saying under her breath "looks like you boys have this covered I'm going to go help our wizard friend with his dazed bird"
she walks back over to the Kenku being held captive by Aenio she kneels down next to it and calmly says "look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way" with another shuttle twist of her hands she casts charm person on the kenku giving her the edge on persuading any answers out of the dazed bird
"listen all we need to know is where Floon Blagmaar is being kept... In fact you give me all the answers I need and I give you 50 gold pieces what do you say bird?"
Persuasion check (advantage because of charm person) 26

The kenku looks up as Asariel approaches. The creature feels her magic hit him and recognizes it as a charm spell. He's unfazed by it. But when she promises gold, he willingly gives her his attention. In a scratchy voice he says "Were two. No names. One" then in a deep voice with an orcish accent he says “Xanathar". Back to the scratchy voice, "Two" then in a thin, nasally voice: “Tie up the pretty boy in the back room". Back to the deep orish voice "Gold now?"
