Are we ever sure that we exist? Do we have feelings? Or are we just NPC's designed to think highly? If so what is our purpose? Why are we here? Who are the players? Or are there Players?
Lockbox is bored, again. He really just wants to hit something, it's all he is good at. He tries to look around, but he is uninterested. The only thing he cares about right now is the next fight.

As you all line up outside the door you the only sounds you hear are the City Watch folks going through the various crates. You don't hear anything from in the room.
If you enter the office:
As you enter the office and look around you see that it's actually a suite of offices, the doors all open allowing you to see into them. The rooms have desks, chairs, and bare shelves covered with dust and draped in cobwebs. You do noticed that an alarm bell is mounted above each office door. The bells are connected by wires that appear to go out one of the windows and down.

'Vassa, struck by a sudden impetuousness, chargers recklessley into the room ahead of Locky and Kes, leveling his cocked crossbow sideways like he has seen actors' playing watchman in street-plays do. The half-drow flicks his cloak out dramatically behind him as he says,'
"Put DOWN your weapons and grab your ankles. Watch captain Ben Dover here, from the Waterdeep Watch... Special Warehouse Inspection Unit!"

As Vassa traces the wires around the various offices to the window. He carefully leans over a desk and checks the window for any traps. Finding none he opens the window and continues to follow the wires. The wires go down the outer wall for a few feet and then run over to a small shed just North of the warehouse.
When Vassa stands back up he knocks something off the desk he was just leaning against. When he picks it up he realizes it's a single paper bird.
Kestrell has been looking around the vacant offices as well. He pokes his head into the one that Vassa is in, sneezes and then says:
"What do you have there, Vassa? Er, I mean Ben? And what do you think these wires are for? Do they make the bells ring somehow?"
'Not entirely sure what he's holding, Vassa casually shows it to Kes, the bard's eyes still fixated upon the small shed visible through the window. Pondering the bird-man's earlier words about signs in the sewers and a little bothered by their inability to find Floon who the half-elf is now starting to worry for, despite not knowing the man personally, Vassa says to his companion,'
"A piece of paper, Kes, though it's finer than most I've come across. A clue perhaps, or something that may be of use later. I have a feeling that these bells and wires are some kind of alarm system. They appear to connect to that shed down there.
Why don't we give these offices a quick once over before the Watch comes in, and then go take a look down there? We've got to find Floon and I fear that time may be running out for us... and for him."
[OOC] Vassa will warn any of his companions who enter to watch out for wires or other triggers that might set off the alarm. Vassa will help Kestrell in a search of the offices.

"Yes. We need to find out where these wires are going."
'Having tucked the fine piece of paper away into an inner pocket of his cloak, Vassa will follow Kes down stairs and around the back to where they saw the shed located, keeping an eye out for trouble and taking to the shadows where possible. However, on their way out of the warehouse, the half-drow will throw a casual salute in Captain Saget's direction and call out in response to the man's puzzled expression,'
