“Is it? Well. Could have been worse. Could’ve killed the lot of them outright. And no offense taken, as I’ll take pride in being a bit gentler—when needed—than most of them.” Emund throws this polishing rag against the back bar and rests against it, stretching his back as it arches.
“Sensible boss man would dress fancily. He’s to be something to fear and something to look up to, after all. Especially if they’re mucking about with neighborhood kids. Though their helping these street urchins touches me, even if it is just slow burning recruitment.” He stands and bends backwards, his spine and shoulders popping a bit as he does.
”The church was interesting. Come to find out Curtis has been squirreled away preparing for a living saint to come through. Yorvalor’s lass is likely helping him with that and was more flushed than when he bats his eyelashes at her—also had her own foreign friend. An Ethurian. What flavor was yours?”
Yorvalor's job is really to take care of the Falcon's entertainment, so there isn't much for him to do at the moment. Maybe he will go clean up the stage area later. He just listens to the conversation by the bar for now.
He's still feeling ashamed by making a fool of himself in front of Isabella. At the very least he knows that she is fine and he doesn't have to worry about her well being. He's hoping that her next visit will be sooner than later, and he might be able to talk with her when she is more relaxed.
"Gentlemen, what's our next plan of action? I am very curious about our Orchids friends."

“No Sasha’s or Rainmaker’s I’m familiar with, I’m afraid. Though that letter...sounds as though a bit of blackmail has made its way to the Orchids.” Emund thinks on this for minute.
”I’ve a thought. We should go to speak with bossman there. Supposing they came here to the Nest in order to help these children Keegan saw, they did so on the promise that they’d receive help and perhaps not be made a mess of over past minor crimes. Something strange is going on here.” He knocks his knuckles on the bar and adds, “Perhaps we go with daylight too. If that is the case and we killed a slew of well intended folks, the sun might make them more docile.”
Yorvalor plays a couple of notes, makes minor adjustments. Slash is ready.

Cade looks around. He sighs. There was two reasons why he was so distrusting of people. One of the reasons he was never planning on sharing, but he thought his friends deserved to know the other reason.
"I want to tell you guys a story. After I deserted from the army, I first hid out in a place called Widowpeak. I found a nice tavern and found a few individuals that I thought I could trust. I had a bit money on me at first. I sold most of my old soldier armor and I sold a lot of other things. I first stayed in the tavern. I became friends with one of the workers. Eventually I told the worker everything. About my family, my friends, my desertion. It was quite common for some soldiers to desert and there was always a nice reward to turn in deserters. The man I thought I could trust ratted me out and I fled. I thought I could live my days out there in peace and have the comfort of actually trusting people. But that never happened I wandered from town to town for years. I did spend a prolonged amount of time in a town called in Lake Bleak, Keegan found me there," Cade says.
"I know you guys told me I can trust you and I know that I can, but it'll take me some time. I've been hurt too much and I have to be able to rely on you guys like you guys rely on me,"

The group finishes their conversations and routine chores around the Falcon’s Nest before heading out. The warehouse districts are quite busy at this time. The sound of the Rail’s whistle lighting cutting through the machinery building different products. People pushing and moving items. Horses bringing materials back and forth from place to place. Some of it going over to the rail yard. Some heading down to the docks. Some of the workers in the warehouse are kids of different ages; not uncommon in the land for people to work.
Turning the corner and heading down some of the pathways, you see that crumbling warehouse once again. A few people stand outside of it smoking. Some of the kids that Keegan described are still around. Although in the hotter mid-day, they aren’t playing quite as hard. One of the kids outside is playing with a set of dice. Rolling them, seeing how they land, and scooping them back up before tossing them out again. Others are busy mending different sets of clothing. A few teaching each other in how to stitch.
Still, there’s a clear front door that is currently open.

Yorvalor puts his arms around Cade's back. "As I said earlier. We watch each other's back in this merry group. No backstabbing business here."
As the group gets closer to the Orchid's warehouse. "Sooo gents, what's the plan?" Yorvalor looks around to see if he is able to spot any of the fellows that paid them a visit the previous night. In particular, he's looking for the Guard (Perception: 5).

Yorvalor takes a look around, but doesn't get a good sense about any of the people outside. Still a bit too far away from the group to tell anything. As Emund heads up, most of them are just standing around. (I'd argue that it's Insight to 'get a feel if they're at watch or not' but your score is the same. Continuing...) Emund you get the feeling that they're on watch. Or at least watching after the little ones that are doing some tasks. There isn't anything particularly threatening about their stances or attitudes. But once you arrive, with (Yorvalor and anyone else who's visible) they do perk up a little bit.
"Not bad. Seen worse days," one says with a shrug after giving you a simple nod of a hello. As you all start to talk, there is the bit of top hat and floral pins. "Why do you wanna talk to the boss? I'll carry the message." That definitely perked them up a little bit. One of the two rougher looking people placing his hands into pockets while he puffs up his chest a bit. Not entirely sure who, or what, he's dealing with here.
"Ohhh. Please I beg your pardon for forgetting my manners. I am the famous minstrel Yorvalor Smith, at your services my good man. I have traveled throughout the kingdom, and I have performed for many important people. I have actually performed many times at the Governor's mansion (Deception: 6). You must certainly have heard of the famous Yorvalor Smith." As Yorvalor speaks his name, he brings Slash and makes a dramatic note.
Yorvalor senses that person he's talking with is not impressed. He tries to quickly change the subject. "OK, here is the deal my good man. Me and my companions here have a very important letter that REQUIRES the immediate attention of your Boss. So unfortunately we must insist that we talk with him. Be warned, however, that the future of YOU my good man, your friends (Yorvalor points to the people around), AND the children that you so dear around here (then he points to all the children around them), may depend on us meeting with your Boss. Cade bursts out laughing. He stares at Yorvalor. He gives Yorvalor a look that pretty much sums up to, 'what in gods name are you doing?'. Cade shakes his head in disapproval.
"Listen, my buddy Yorvalor just had one too many drinks. You know his type. We were hoping to meet your employer and discuss some business opportunities," Cade says. (Persuasion/deception: 12)
"It involves expanding your bosses reach, we can't really discuss it here. You don't know who's listening," Cade adds.

The two that are hanging outside look at each other. Then back to you all.
"Ok. Sure. I'm going to go get the boss. While the rest of you wait out here." One of the two turns and begins to head inside. Shutting the door behind him. It feels like forever. The lot of you standing outside with that lone person. He taps his toes on the ground. Slightly rocking on he heels while waiting.
Eventually the door opens back up. A woman, mid-40s, stands before you in a rather clean dress. A blue dress falls from her shoulders, with a leather belt around her waist. Dark brown hair done in short bantu knots, which she lightly taps a few times while looking at you all. "Yes, I heard you have some business. I'm Mother Amahle. And you are?"
"You can call me Rainmaker," Cade introduces himself. He didn't want to use his surname at first, but it sort of slipped out. He had a lot of stuff on his mind.

Mama Amahle let's Keegan kiss her hand, but she quickly presses a single finger under his chin. Digging it in just a little bit. "Smiles and charm don't win me over." She has her hand move away from Keegan, crossing over his front while she looks at the others. "And neither does assuming I'm not the one in charge. You may have come wanting to speak to a specific, but you asked for me."

Yorvalor speaks to Mother Amahle. "If you will excuse me Mother."
Yorvalor goes to where the children are playing and picks a shaded area, closer to the Warehouse. He grabs a wooden box and step on it. He brings Slash to the front and plays a short chord to grab the children's attention. "Children, children... Come and gather around. Please sit and get comfortable. Everyone, please come!!" He waits for all the children to get comfortable. "Hello there kids!! What about Uncle Yorvalor plays a couple of songs for you??" He starts with an oldie, but sure all the kids should know. "What about we start with something really easy that everyone can sing along?" He starts playing "Old McDonald" (or whatever is the equivalent). "Come, let's all sing along!!" (Performance: 18)
Yorvalor turns to Mother Amahle, smiles and slightly bows. He looks at his companions and use his head to tell them to go inside. He then looks at some of the adults that are hanging outside. "Please gentlemen, what about join with the children for some fun?"
