Cade watches the men leave. He could not believed that work. He sighed. He was disappointed that he couldn't see the boss of the Orchids without causing any trouble. Cade will make a final sweep of the place (Investigation: 11).
He will then leave and pray that no one will speak to him.
Cade: You glance into the back part of the room. Inside, a few of the older kids are busy handing coins, small rings, and other items that look like they could have been lifted off of people in the streets to a few older gentlemen who are collecting, recording and placing them into something that's just out of sight. They give the kids, children of about 10 years of age, a hair tussle and you hear them go down a set of stairs leading to whatever is underneath this place. Satisfied, you slink back out of the warehouse without incident.
Yorvalor: The purpose of the warehouse somewhat evades you. There are boxes, and tables. But there's no set industry. It could be food, and this is a legit orphanage. But the way some of the things seem haphazardly tossed about, along with a lack of beds and other general supplies, makes it seem... off. Still, the guy behind you continues to move with you along the stairs. "I suppose you could ask her," the guy says with a shrug as you begin to approach the room.
Keegan and Emund: Keegan finds one of the chairs infront of his desk. Plopping down in it, it's rather nice. Soft cushion. Firm wood. In either case, you don't entirely believe Masus. He's hiding a bit of his own intentions. More curious, he seems to be calm. But these slips of anger show up in his conversation with you and Emund, but seem to just fade. Something is keeping him, perhaps, too clam for such a situation. Emund, you definitely don't remember him. A short orcish boy who would have been at the Cathedral? Sure, there have been plenty of half-orcs; they're one of the more common people of the lands. But a orc of his size? That sticks with you. Still, you don't entirely believe Masus either. He's keeping his own cards close to the chest.
Masus tilts his head to the side. "A living saint? Here? In Dunnour? Well. That'll be quite the event!" his eyes light up for a moment. "But why have only you heard of this? Why are there not celebrations and preparations in the street?" This reaction does seem honest to both of you. AS the conversation shifts, he does turn over to Keegan. "I had sent over some boys to talk to the owners of a few bars and taverns. Not to cause any trouble. According to my people that came back - you came up from behind and killed two - then let the others surrender. but I don't remember hearing that they drew first blood. Perhaps I ought to get some sailors to teach what loose lips do to ships." He pauses for a long moment, looking at Keegan. He's about to open his mouth before the sounds of others coming up the stairs echo in the room.
"Um, Mother Amahle," comes the voice of the person from outside. "This guy insisted...." and before he can finish that thought. Yorvalor enters the room. Seeing Keegan sitting in a chair, Emund standing there. And Mr. Masus, the short Orc, standing behind his desk.
Amahle gives a soft sight. Before looking over to the guard. "Yes. Thank you. Please make sure to get back to work and check on the supplies for breakfast." The one from outside gives a nod, looking at everyone, before exiting and heading back down the stairs. The sounds echoing in the room as the conversation continues.
Yorvalor enters the room, and he bows slightly to Mother Amahle. "Please, Mother. Do not blame the kind gentleman that escorted me here. I insisted that I should be reunited with my friends."
Yorvalor then bows slightly to the short ork. "Greetings, my name is Yorvalor Smith. The famous minstrel of the Falcon's Nest, at your service. I am glad to see folks in this part of town that appreciates fine clothing." He smiles and winks at the orc. He looks around the room looking for any art or decoration. He then goes to the window and looks out from it. (Perception: 20) "Please do not let me interrupt the conversation, I am just appreciating the view from here."

“You’d have to ask the priests. Clearly the birds who whispered to us decided we were holy enough to bear this knowledge and dispense with it as needed.” Emund says, returning Masus’s sarcasm. He looks at Keegan as the conversation progresses, standing quite firm and still. When Masus offers the accusation that they attacked from behind and without warning, Emund feels some frustration bubble up. Yorvalor’s arrival breaks up the conversation and Emund offers a slight wave as he makes his way inside, before returning his attention to the short orc.
”Some blood is red, some is gold. Are you in the habit of letting mosquitos hemorrhage your coffers?”
Cade wonders how long his friends are going to take. He wanders around a bit. Cade is going to go to the town hall or some sort of government building. He wants to do find out about this Sasha individual. (Con: 19) He tries his best to avoid the gaze of any Noctis.
Cade begins to breath hard. His eyes cloud over. He soon finds himself back in the battlefield. He sees the familiar sight of his brother being stabbed to death. Cade chokes. No one is here to bring him back to reality. He unsheathes his shortswords. He tries to relax, but his body is shaking. He is surrounded by the enemy. Everyone around him appears to be a Noctis. He dashes forward and attacks.
Attack: 9
Damage: 8
"You won't hurt me anymore," Cade exclaims while still in tears. He swings down with the other sword.
Masus’ eyes once again seem to flare as Yorvalor walks around his desk. But like before, that calming sensation returns. And a bit of a huff. “I feel our conversation is over.” He gives a wave of his hand. Yorvalor, even though you just got in, you can see something. The bookcase is pulled slightly forward. A small passageway visible behind it - if you could swing it open. From there, another figure. You can’t make out the face or any of the details. But whatever is in there is wearing a tabard like bit of clothing. Part of it being a white blade, in part of a X formation. You feel like you make eye contact with whatever it there... the tabard stepping back into the shadow and out of sight.
“I agree,” Mother Amahle chimes in. “I have yet to see any business transactions or dealings.” She makes a arm motion towards the door, as if asking for you all to follow. “Gentlemen, if you’d please.” She patiently waits as you all get together to the door.
As you all begin to head back out, Masus speaks one more time. “Oh. Please do come again if you’d ever like to lose some coin. And may your little Nest keep it’s eggs safe.”
Amahle sighs at this. A deep sigh. She doesn’t seem to enjoy the back and forth or the threats. As you all look around and head back down the stairs - whatever normally was happening seems to have stopped. Many of the workers and helpers simply watching you. They seem on edge, focused. Alert and ready for something to go south. But, none of them make any sort of gesture to attack per se. You also don’t see many with weapons on hand. A few holding a bit of chain. Or a club. A set of metal knuckles. Once back outside, Amahle looks over at you all. “Gentlemen. I must bid you good day. If you’d like, please feel free to sing to the children some more and say goodbye to them.” That part a bit more towards Yorvalor than the others.
Meanwhile, further down in the warehouse, a few twists and turns away from the rest of the crew, a young Noctis lay dead underneath Cade. Both his blades seeming to be dripping with blood. The warehouse worker having been stabbed and attacked. Others from that warehouse are beginning to pour out, as they were moving boxes on to a carriage. “HEY!” One of them shouts, pointing over to Cade. “Someone, go get the guards. You, go grab the doctor. Your four,” and a hand waive. Several other people from the warehouse beginning to gather some courage and head over to Cade in a bit of a strut.
"It was a pleasure playing for the children and they were a great audience. I hope that I may have more opportunities to come back and perform for them." He thinks for a moment. "You know... The Falcon is not that busy during the early ours of the weekdays. Perhaps the kids could have a "supervised" field trip, and I am sure the owner will not mind, as long as some of the adults buy some drinks." With that, Yorvalor gives a big smile to Mother showing that he means what he said. He bows low. "May you have a blessed day as well Mother Amahle." He then goes to where the children are. "Children, it is with sadness that I leave you today, but Uncle Yorvalor promises that I will return and play some more music. Or perhaps..." He turns around to look at Mother with a sly smile. "Perhaps Mother Amahle, can you bring you all to where I perform one of these day!" With both hands, he throws a kiss to the children.
On their way out, Yorvalor looks around and whispers to his friends. "Anybody seen Cade?"

Emund frowns. Yorvalor’s joy-filled arrival threw a kink into their careful game of posturing. Now Masus was seemingly unwillingly to reveal any of the cards he held. Eye balling Masus the entire time Keegan doesn't immediately get up to leave, but holds the gaze of Masus for a few heart beats. After a tense moment Keegan will stand up with a wide grin. Walking behind his friends, once they are far enough away to not be heard, Keegan mutters to them "Why don't we get all those kids out o' there for your field trip, then me and Cade sneak back in and murder all those shady twats? A couple slit throats might loosen those tongues a bit. Where in the bloody hells is Cade anyways?"
Yorvalor looks puzzled to his friends. "I thought that Cade went into the warehouse with you guys. Sorry, I wasn't looking at the entrance while I was performing for the children." He turns to look at the entrance. (OCC: is the person that escorted me inside there now?)

Keegan, Yorvalor, and Emund wait a few more moments. Yorvalor looks back and just see's the shut door. The kids moving in and out playing a few games. A few of the others continuing their day as you all begin to walk away. As you take a few turns, you see two people rushing over. Springing. One shouting for the guards. Both appear to be winded and out of breath - in some sort of panic. Seeing the three of you, they wave you down. Turning and heading in your direction.
But the warehouse districts are loud. And not the most well patrolled.
Emund walks towards the approaching men. “What’s this, now?” He says to Keegan and Yorvalor. He raises a hand to the men as they get close enough to speak.
”Catch your breaths. Has something happened? What’s the hurry?”
Cade taking some damage. He glares at the Noctis soldier. Cade wipes the blood from his lip. He grips his blades tightly. He says something in Elvish. Spits the blood on the ground. He charges forward and attempts to stab the guy that got the clean hit in.
Attack: 16
Damage: 6
Cade roars in pain, fear, and terror. His hands begin to feel uncomfortable gripping his swords and he attempts to ram his sword through the man's chest.

Cade: Another one of the people fall; sword plunged through his chest.
One of the others with a injured arm pulls the one who just got impaled away from the fight. The other two looking at eachother before giving a small nod. Another taking a swing with a pipe, while the other grabs a rock and attempts to crash it against Cade from behind. From the distance, some of the others at the warehouse are sitting and watching. Slowly making their way, but clearly waiting for someone.
Attack: 17 Damage: 1
Attack: 16 Damage: 1
Keegan, Yorvalor, Emund: The man continues to gasp for air. "Crazy guy. Swords. Attacking...." there's a slow breath. "Get the guards. KIlled someone already."
"Please take us to this 'crazy guy'. Time is of the essence my good man". We follow the man.

Keegan rushes to follow, if he can get a sense of where the commotion is (listening for screams, shouts of alarm or panic. Perception: 13) he will rush ahead.
Yorvalor sees Keegan sprinting ahead. He thinks of something appropriate to say, and then he yells to his friend. “May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks!” Yorvalor thinks to himself. “Where did I read that from?” He tries to keep up with his friend.

What do you do?

Keegan rushes to follow, if he can get a sense of where the commotion is (listening for screams, shouts of alarm or panic. Perception: 13) he will rush ahead.

Yorvalor sees Keegan sprinting ahead. He thinks of something appropriate to say, and then he yells to his friend. “May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks!” Yorvalor thinks to himself. “Where did I read that from?” He tries to keep up with his friend.
