Dog shows an engaging, amical front to Nev as they talk. He tries to make silly faces and ruff ruff noises to Genny, as has been successful in the past few weeks to make her laugh. He will ask her how she is doing and if she is so happy to be back with her mother. If she has those little goat figurines Dog will try to play with them with her. He uses prestidigitation to make a small trinket for her to play with, using it again to make some flashes of sparkly pale blue light to accompany it. If Nev is not taking his playfulness kindly, he will back off and let her parent. When Nev references walking to Vallas, he will look at her and say that he is going to find a travel solution today.
"I don't know I will be able to find Keyrie and Stones, today but hopefully they will rejoin us soon. I'll look into it now. Are you okay traveling with the two new protectors? What about Gash? Do you have food to travel and all the other arrangements you need save a horse? Or should I get you two provisions? Also do you know who is paying for your room here?"
As he is talking, he will have Stitches crawl down his leg, behind him, to the wall, up the wall, and to a corner of the ceiling. He will make his polite goodbyes, again with a flash of distracting playful sparkles via his new cantrip, and tell her he will return when he knows more about transportation - definitely by the afternoon.
He will then pause down the hall and again look in his bag and switch to Stitiches' eyes and ears, trying to hear if Nev says or does anything interesting after Dog leaves. At the end of his spying, he'll recall he spider. At the front desk he will ask who has paid for Nev's room, and for how many nights (out of earshot of Nev).

"Ugh," Neventi says in frustration, though not at all to his attempts to settle Gentoa (prior to her falling asleep). "I thought that was what you were doing! Fine, fine. Are we leaving today, though?"
"I don't know I will be able to find Keyrie and Stones, today but hopefully they will rejoin us soon. I'll look into it now. Are you okay traveling with the two new protectors?"
"Yes, of course."
"What about Gash?"
Neventi sighs. "That's fine," she says. "We just had a....misunderstanding."
"Do you have food to travel and all the other arrangements you need save a horse?"
"Oh, uh, no. Not really. Could you pick up some rations and a bedroll and some other things we will need? I don't seem to have any of my gear any more." She scratches her head. "Where did I leave it?"
"Also do you know who is paying for your room here?"
"Both sides of the negotiations shared the costs, I think. For as long as we are staying in the Masa, I was told."

Neventi smiles and waves as he laves. Once out of sight, Dog watches through Stitches' eyes as she puts Gentoa down on a blanket on the grass in the shade. She pulls out her lute and idly strums it but does little else of interest.
At the front desk he will ask who has paid for Nev's room, and for how many nights (out of earshot of Nev).
The young half-elf at the front desk flips through the books to find the answer for Dog. "Hmm," she says. "I'm sorry, I will have to ask someone. I'm not sure what this means."
She returns a few minutes later with a slight smile. "Sorry, the answer is a bit unusual. It is not our customary way of doing things. A young elven woman established a prepaid account with us. She deposited a considerable sum ensure that Miss Drahm is comfortable for two months at the inn. The account covers her for almost 3 more ten-days, if she chooses to stay."
He ill then return to the tavern.

Dog, Bulwark, and Martin:
Back at Bounty, Dog enters shortly after Martin, who is standing close to the entrance but off to the side. Bulwark is seated at a table looking up at another warforged who has a hand on his shoulder. The new warforged is flanked by two others, a human woman and a male dwarf. Both are alert but hanging back for the time being.
"Sometimes, deals just don't work out. I think I will hold onto my things and well I'll just take the scroll today for Remove Curse. Hey you don't by chance happen to know somewhere I can teleport back into that city to with this thing?" he points up at his helm of teleportation, "Your shop is quite marvelous, I'd like to keep spending money here" Gash smiles widely.
Afterwards, Gash will return to the tavern they have been to the last couple nights and work on scribing scroll until he sees his friends.

Gash and Tock arrive shortly after Dog as Bulwark stands mechanically, much less smooth in its motions than the other warforged that faces him. The human woman and male dwarf behind the warforged stranger tense but do not draw their weapons.
"Oh hi everyone, lets get a table and regroup. I've got a remove curse scroll and I'll transfer it to my spellshard tonight. How did everyone else fare? How is Nev?:

After saying a short prayer to Helm, Althus returns to the tavern and reports his findings to the group, "It seems that it will be difficult for us to find a way to the Heavens or Hells, the priest was not able to give me much guidance there."
“That’s disappointing to hear. All of the smoke and mirrors is making it really hard for us... how does either side expect us to make a decision especially in their favor if we cannot ascertain any real information? This... is getting frustrating. At least when we were being chased by the hells we knew what was going on. Tock did you gather anything from the giants? Vi didn’t seem to know anything about our third option. The heavens and hells may be in the dark about it too.”

Althus, Tock, and Gash continue talking by the entrance, blissfully unaware of what they have stumbled into. Dog and Martin watch as Bulwark whirs quietly. "Take your time," says the other warforged, kindly.
"Do you recognize him, Ram?" says the human woman.
"No," says Ram in his deep voice. "He was constructed before me. I've met older than him, though."
Dog tries not to overreact to the tension with Bulwark and the other group. He tries to catch Bulwark's eyes and silently offer his support should it be needed, but he's never quite understood him and is going to let Bulwark sort himself out. If asked about him, Dog will just say, "he's quiet, and has been very kind to us."
When Gash mentions the scroll, Dog gets very excited. "That's excellent news. We should really give it a try. Maybe all of us can go and you can try to cast it while we distract her. She really, really, really wants to get going. She seems fine, but certainly not herself, and I think she doesn't remember anything from the kidnapping, and I'm a little worried about what she remembers and knows of the rest of the last few weeks. She didn't know why she doesn't have a bedroll or other travel items. Genny doesn't seem settled with her. I think we should try to remove the curse, and hope it will work. Even if it does, she may be operating without all her memories and a warped version of events and she'll need some time and guidance to remember."
He blinks.
"Gash, could we make you invisible, and then have you cast it as a surprise? That might give us the best shot to actually have the amulet off her. First thing tomorrow? Maybe today we get some transportation, supplies, and" he sighs, "horses, and then first thing tomorrow we get to her room, I open the door, entertain Genny, and then you cast the spell from hiding?"
When Martin speaks, Dog whirls and stares at him. "You.... you found the assassin? What!? Where and who is it???!?!! And what else did you find out about the Accords? I struck out at the library... found a scribe who did work with Viviora but he didn't want to talk at all. Perhaps in addition to transportation and supplies we have some other tasks to attend to this afternoon? Do tell, Martin!!"
“According to my sources, a man who may be our assassin has been trapsing about on rooftops over in the Shacks. Narrowed it down to Griffin Avenue, next to a tailor and dress shop. As far as the Accords, well that’s a bit more up to interpretation. Axonia sent a message back with a... uh, spy who checked up on the devas in the market district. She said that she would be out for a walk at sundown. I take that to be either an invitation to speak with her, spy on her, or to infiltrate her residence and steal a copy of the Accords. If I were a betting man, I’d avoid the conversation if possible. It strikes me as the least likely to yield actionable results. The Accords clearly keep them from being explicit. I think we could both spy and infiltrate if we are thoughtful. I’d like to get the assassin before he disappears though. It only seems right.”
Dog just slowly walks up to Martin and gives him a big hug.
After composing himself, he says, "so, how long till sundown? Axonia first, and then pay a visit to the assassin?" If they're heading to sneak into Axonia's room, Dog will ask that they give him ten minutes shortly before they actually go in for Dog to ritually cast comprehend languages.
“We may want to split up again. We could have a team meet her on the walk and a team go to her place. We all reconvene to find the assassin.”
“And Dog. I’ve been thinking a lot about that. I actually have to touch the amulet with this spell. And you may have learned just lately that your familiar can deliver touch spells you cast... so I was thinking Friend can go in and spend some time with Nev and maybe he can perch on her shoulder and touch the amulet and that’s when I’ll cast it.”
"Diagnostics complete. No errors encountered," Bulwark says. He whirs for a moment, as if recalling Ram's questions. "Designation: Bulwark."
He extends a hand, which the other warforged takes. A low rumble erupts from the stranger, which bubbles into a chuckle. He takes Bulwarks hand and shakes it. "I am Rampart," he says.
"Why does he talk like that, Ram?" says the human woman.
"I'm...not sure," Rampart says. "Could be a number or reasons. Bulwark, it was nice to meet you. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. We come here a lot, so you can always ask for me with the owner there."
Bulwark looks at the other Warforged. "Invitation to further discourse noted, and gratitude is extended. Curious: I have not encountered another seemingly sentient construct before this point. Yet you mentioned encountering others. Please elaborate."
Rampart's eyes refocus in the same eerie way that Bulwark's do. His voice rumbles out of a hole in the same way as well. "I was designed for battle between two guilds of wizards some time ago. It has been, perhaps, 40 years or so. Both sides designed many constructs to aid in their fight. While many perished, not all of them have. You're right, though. Following the Mage War, there are few of us left.
Rampart thinks for a moment. "I have met...two others that predated the Mage War. They were also created for battle. It was just for different wars. The sentients always seem to find an excuse to try and kill each other. Do you know the purpose for which you were designed?"
Tock sit down at a table quite a ways away from the other adventurers.
"Gash, Dog, new guys, listen up. This shit has going on long enough. Nev can't be convinced to let us do stuff and so on. We can restrain her either by force or magic and let Gash do his stuff, but I assume that would be the last resort."
"Gash, you need to touch the amulet while reading from the scroll, right? Let me see the scroll, can I be the one to read it? I might have a way to do that without harming her feelings.. too much."
"Yes, that could work. I've noticed your new headgear... very nice. It will help with your ability to cast it. I'd rather not restrain her, but if we have to... we will have to. I-I-I'm worried that this wont work and she will always look at myself and whoever else attempts this spell on her... like she looked at me. She's n-not happy with me at all..."
