A swarm of bats flutters down the hall, engulfing Dog while a second swarm does the same to Tock.
Dog and Tock are uninjured. Martin is grappled and Bulwark is charmed.

New mechanic! Gash and Althus can roll a d20 to wake up. After 3 successes (11 or higher), they are awake with 1 HP. 3 failures do NOT mean death, though.
Last 4 rounds for Gash and 3 rounds for Althus:
Gash: 6, 11, 20, 12 (Gash wakes up with 1 more success, still charmed)
Althus: 16, 8, 11 (Althus wakes up with 2 more successes, still charmed)
Well, that's not good. He yells, "Tock! Where are you! This is getting interesting!"
Dog, I think, can get just within melee range by cutting east and then diagonally northeast through the small room. He levels his warhammer yet again, frustrated that he can't cast other fun spells for fear of dropping his protection spell. He does make a mental note to learn spells with radiant damage, or at least to befriend more paladins and clerics. At this rate, he's going to be fighting literally his whole party AND a vampire and her bats. He also resolves to not passive-aggressively go along with other people's bad planning to make a point.
Dog races across the room as the bats bite at him again. He bounds onto a lounge chair, springing into the hallway where Bulwark stands, blocking his new mistress. Dog slides against he wall next to the hulking mechanical man, throwing out his hammer to first miss then, turning to get a better angle, strike the vampire. She recoils slightly at the blow, then dives her fangs towards Martin's neck.
Bat swarm Attack against Dog: 14 Damage: 7
Bite Attack against Martin: 15 Damage: 9 (Martin cannot regain this health until a long rest.)
Garielle's fangs strike his armor, missing his neck.
(Tocktook 5 points of damage outside when the swarm first appeared)
Tockwill once again disengage and walk inside, up to Althus. He'll see him start to come around once more and decides just to be safe and cast charm person on him before he does.
"Ok, Dog, lets start turning this around. Clear up the bats please and lets override the magic the ***** is using on our friends. Then we'll make her pay for it. Can you dispel it on Gash? I'm hoping to replace it on Althus here."
(Wasn't able to post anything long before so was just giving context Tock would know to show Dog's not near the bats anymore.) If Dog can hear Tock, he'll reply, "Ignore the bats! She can heal faster than I can bring her down alone, and now I'm getting hit by Bulwark. They might snap out of her charm if we can drop her. Otherwise, we're all going to join her cult, and I've had enough of weird religions."
Blearily, Gash awakens, head throbbing, Bats swarm throughout the foyer, Tock in the center of it. The sounds of battle echo through the stone hallways. (Gash is awake with 1 HP, still charmed.)
Martin ducks away. As Bulwark pounds down the hallway to join the fray, the vampire tries again, trying to grab Martin into a hold.
