"Always the worst part of right before a voyage," Sana agrees. "When you're out of stuff to do, it's boring just waiting around. But once we're under way, there'll be plenty to do! It's a good-sized ship, you'll have plenty to keep track of."
Carrhae chuckles in response to Sana. "That's an understatement. I imagine that a ship this size with a crew as large as ours will keep me up on my feet all day! But right now there's nothing to do. I can't even go for a quick swim because the water in the ports is disgusting. Perhaps Misha has the right idea, lying back and taking in the sun today."
Carrhae turns back to Misha for a second. "Make sure to get both sides. You'd look rather awkward if your front half was tanned but your back was not."

Misha complied. It was, after all, good advice. She took her top off lazily, winked at Carrhae, and flipped over, settling in a comfortable position on her stomach. She closed her eyes and smiled. Curiously, or amusingly, she had not a single tan line. She relaxed as if she had not a care in the world and took advantage of Toril's benefits - like the wonderful sun.
She remembered her first mission away from Acheron, away from home.
She was tired, the years given to her from Hell catching up to rapidly now that she had found a way to exit the bargain against Hell's will - but that was another story. While still looking in her late 30s, she felt like she was much, much older. Hidden in the shadows, she had finally found her pursuer's room: the red headed Paladin that had been hunting her on Eothia. Soon, Cora thought, I'll make my move. the rogue was already aching - her muscles protesting. **** you, Hell.
Misha Praskovia, Prime Paladin of Acheron, looked out the window, said a silent prayer to her Lord and General. She was about to go to bed, wearing nothing but a short shirt and cloth pants. She made her way to the door of her bed in the inn. Her senses went off, triggered, someone...! Her head darted to-
Cora leapt from the shadows - struck fast, Misha didn’t see her coming. The blade entered into Misha’s left chest, above the breast and below the collarbone. The paladin grit her teeth in pain, took her hands and tried to pry Cora’s off the blade. A hot fire roared in Misha’s chest, the blade went deep, but missed vital organs. Misha’s grip was very strong, she was in her prime and genetically modified - Cora grappled Misha and shoved her hard away from the bed, and Misha tripped, heading to the wall.
Taking advantage, Cora kicked her in the stomach, sent Misha smashing against the wall. Cora swung a left hook, Misha threw her arm up, parried, grabbed Cora and spun her around, slamming her against the wall and following up with a wicked left elbow that caused Cora’s head to hit the wall and bounce. Misha rapidly followed up with a knee to her stomach, and grabbed her hand, shoving it against the wall and causing her to drop her blade. For good measure, she swung a mighty right hook, and connected to her jaw, hard. The sound of bone breaking. Furious now, Cora grabbed Misha by the shirt and threw her into wall again with all her leverage, all her strength. The rogue threw a fast gutpunch – the redhead’s midsection was like a wall of iron. Her wrist cracked.
Fire shooting up her arm, Cora grabbed a painting on the wall and slammed it down on Misha’s head, and she went down – she took the opportunity to grab her blade again and swing wide strokes at Misha, but the paladin was too fast, she got up quickly, recovered, and dodged each swing, inhumanly. ******* HELL, this ***** is strong. Fast. The paladin found an opening, grappled Cora, and threw her over her shoulder, slamming her hard on the ground, completely knocking the wind of out her. She violently gasped for breath as her lungs burned up and emptied. Misha got Cora in a choke hold, and dragged her to the door. Cora fought back, struggled, and used leverage to push backwards and they both sprawled into the washroom. Misha recalibrated first, and swung a punch as hard as she could into Cora’s face, connected, and sent the rogue reeling fast to the floor.
Cora was bleeding all over her face, couldn’t see well, things were getting very fuzzy fast. Misha grabbed her head, slammed it against the washbowl, breaking the wood. Cora went down again. The paladin grabbed her by her leather tunic and with a mighty uppercut, sent her flying back into the bedroom. Dizzy and coughing up blood, Cora fought back the pain. She was tired, weak, and couldn’t hold up to this foe. She wasn't even ******* sweating. Cora felt hard muscular arms chokehold her neck, and Misha squeezed as hard as she could. The pressure was incredible - Cora clawed at Misha's hands and arms, tried to reach up, but soon, she couldn’t breathe and was out. Misha dropped Cora, stood over her like a hunter over it's kill. She looked at her puncture wound which was bleeding heavily, and she was covered in blood smears everywhere. She grabbed Cora by the tunic and dragged her outside.
She had found her quarry. Ironic, how it came to her. Time to return to Acheron. Promotion was waiting.
Carrhae's eyes lingered on Misha for a moment as she removed her sporty top, leaving her in a bikini and shorts. For a moment, she thought of pouncing on her with a tickle attack while she was unaware, but decided against it. Carrhae got the feeling that Misha was focused on something. She'd have plenty of opportunities to strike later. "Sorry Sana, I got distracted for a second."
"I suppose I would. So I have a question for you. How do you handle clothes when you alter your form? Are they adjustable or do they shift with you? Because my clothes are sized for me and if my frame were to shrink, they'd be rather loose, and if I were to expand, I'd be courting disaster."
Sana grins. "My clothes don't change with me. If I'm adopting a body with a different shape, I need to switch sets of clothes. It also helps that I don't have many clothes specifically tailored to a given form of mine-I usually buy clothes that are generally large, or small, or sized for people of a given height."
Carrhae nods her head. "I see. A number of years ago I had a friend that was a changeling and they also had a rather large wardrobe for when they adopted a new body. It seems that it's a pretty common thing. I imagine that it must be rather costly."

Misha took out a bottle of suntan lotion, or something similar, that was given to her when she bought her swimsuit. She dangled it suggestively between her fingers as she laid there, as Carrhae and Sana conversed among themselves. She set it down next to her, planning to use it, clearly unable to reach her back.
Sloop walks up the stairs, wringing his hands out on a dish towel, obviously just finishing up cleaning the breakfast dishes. Humming a little tune, he seems lost to his thoughts. Rounding the top step and walking out onto the main deck, he stops dead in his tracks when he sees the three angels standing around, chatting. Seeing Misha set the bottle of lotion down next to her barely clothed body, his tail springs straight out and then slyly coils around his waist.
Stealth: 27
OOC: HAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Quiet as a mouse, Sloop pads up to Misha, grabs the lotion bottle, and starts to massage it into her skin, suggestively.
"Mostly ship loot," Sana says cheerfully. "Or hand-me-downs from other crew members, if they didn't have a use for them anymore. Between those two, there were plenty of opportunities to pick up new outfits."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Bane’s Feest! I didnt even hear you walk up!” Misha said, lost in the back lotioning. It felt good, skilled, the rubs were deep, but..something was off. “Are you wearing gloves, Carr-“ she said as she turned her head to look at her. “Keetee?!?”
She sat up, laughing, not expecting it to be the cat. It was a nice massage, however. She grabbed him.
Carrhae whips her head back. She frowns, as she completely missed out on the chance to give Misha a massage. "Sloop! What are you doing out here! You're supposed to be helping Indigo! Dereliction of duty is a serious offense! Now get back to the galley before I call Kali out here!"
Carrhae certainly wasn't pleased with him leaving Indigo, but she mainly figured that giving him a small fright was sufficient punishment for him robbing her of the chance to rub Misha's back.
