Kali attacks, and the Kraken releases Kali, and it turns to make a mad dash away from combat. Kali, since you were gripped during the rushing tide, you're in melee range and can make a AoO
Herpes can attack, too, I suppose. He's in melee range cuz his turn was before the tiderush.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who gave your best in this campaign. I had a lot of fun running it, interacting with you guys, and having an opportunity to develop Misha. This campaign was broken up into about 6 individual adventures, and I had fun with them all. In the end, you saved Saltmarsh and the surrounding areas. Very impressive work to get through the whole campaign book and all the adventures within. I think you all did very well considering you all had lives and such, and I appreciate the opportunity to get to know new people and make new relationships. I wish the best for Sana and Chandor, and Misha hopes to see all of you again in some shape or form.
What you guys decide to do from here on out is up to you - perhaps another adventure for another day? Until next time!
(You're welcome. It was fun being able to play Carrhae again)
When the Kraken falls, Carrhae hugs all of her crew (giving Sloop the side-hug to keep him from getting any ideas), happy that she was able to lead them to victory this time. "We did it!" Carrhae leads the team up and returns to Oahu. On the, she has Wolf pull out the best wine and whip up some delicious food and a beautiful cake for everyone to have during a beachside celebration. "Chandor and Sana are going to be starting a new life together, so we should give them a proper celebration!"She pops open one of the bottles and begins to pour bottles for the crew. "To Chandor and Sana! May they stay together forever!" She shouts out as she downs a glass and begins a night of merriment among the crew. During the next morning, Carrhae sells her sword, her gauntlets, and her cloak. My part in this has come to an end. I won't be needing these anymore. She finds Misha (when she's not having sex with Kali) and takes her for a little walk, where she presents her with a small charm. "Misha, you've been a true friend to me. I plan on spending as much time as I can with you while you're still here, but when you have to return home, I have this for you. Just a little something to remember us all by." Carrhae pulls out a golden bracelet with charms on it, one for each member of the crew. A heart for Carrhae, an octopus for Kali, a dolphin for Sana, a cat for Sloop, an arrow for Chandor, a spider for Erriviel, a thunderbolt for Syltra, and a bell for the Belle. "Not like you'll ever forget us. We'll always be together here." She points towards Misha's heart. "And here." She points towards her head, signifying the connection that she has with Misha.
"I think you and Kali are on to something. Bathing in the sun, drinking mimosas, lying with beautiful women; that's a pretty good life. I've been on a lot of adventures and I've seen more danger in four years than most will ever see in an entire lifetime. But I don't believe that this is what I'm supposed to do forever. I think that I'm going to settle down here and let people appreciate my legendary boobs instead of trying to kill me." She chuckles, clearly finding the idea of legendary boobs hilarious. "Do you think that in a thousand years from now, people will be telling stories about how my boobs could heal the sick and restore crops?" She waves her hand dismissively, indicating that she's not actually expecting Misha to answer.
"I'm planning on telling the rest of the crew about it later today. Chandor and Sana are going off to start a new life together and I'm sending Sloop back off to military school, or the Academy, or wherever he chooses to go. Maybe he'll shape up and become some legendary sea captain. Or maybe not. I think that this journey has taught me that the gods did not intend for me to be a parent. Our mission is over and I've ceded the Belle to whoever wants it. Everyone can do what they want, where they want. That goes for you and Kali. If you want to stay here with me, get high, have tickle fights, and have bonfires, you can and I'll make sure to stay far away while you're intimate. If you want to leave, you're free to do so and I won't be upset with you for it. Honest. Carrhae sits down and invites Misha to sit next to her. "I've been given a new life, Misha, and I intend to make the most of it. I hope that you make the most of yours, here, and wherever else you get called to."
Sloop is actually rather excited to get back to the Academy, as he has tons of adventure stories (wink wink) to brag about to his fellow soldiers. Before parting ways with the crew, he runs up and plants a big wet one directly on Misha’s lips, and then sprints away at top speed so Misha can’t pick him up by the scruff of the neck and throw him off this plane entirely. But while running, he looks over his shoulder and calls out “Bye everyone! Thanks for shiverin’ me timbers!!!!”
Sana does her utmost to convince Carrhae to give her and Chandor the Belle as a wedding gift (unless Kali wants it). Regardless, she and Chandor wind up on either the Belle or another ship, and sail off into the sunset together, Felix chittering and leaping in the ship's wake. Those who watch until it vanishes over the horizon may notice the faintest sparkles of gold around the ship, signifying Lady Luck's blessing on the happy couple.
The next day at the party, Misha went up to Sana and Chandor and gave both of them a big dual shoulder hug. "Some of the best theengs een life come so unexpected." she said, as sagely as she could fake. Nevertheless, her heart swelled with happiness for both of them. "I deedn't theenk you had such passion, Chandor, but Misha is heppy, very heppy for you. Sana," she turned to her fellow paladin, "I am not going to cry!" she lied, and gave her a big hug. Kissing her on her cheek, she squeaked out, "I weel mees you. Take care of the Belle." She hugged her again, and walked away, asking Bane to watch over them in their journey, their new life, and conquering each other in many fits of passion.
It was then Sloop snuck attacked her with a full blown kiss on the mouth. Spitting out fur, all she could do was laugh, and didn't bother chasing him. Wiping her mouth, she smiled and watched him run away at full speed, and shook her head. Then, something startled her out of her smile. "I've been calling heem keetee thees whole and and never knew hees name!!" She threw back her head and roared in laughter.
Then, she went on a little walk with Carrhae. She accepted the charm and (if possible) wore it around her wrist or neck. She waited patiently for Carrhae to finish talking, and had to bite her lip hard to keep her chin from twitching in an impending cry. She stayed next to Carrhae and said nothing, just smiled, enjoying the last few moments alone with her. When she could no longer bear it, and could no longer hold tears back, she stood, and picked Carrhae up by the arms. She looked lovingly into her eyes, Misha's own bright watery emeralds shining in the sun. "I have to go back home, now." she said, but not sadly, but proudly. Very proud. "Eet ees not because I WANT to, but..because you do not NEED me..anymore." She embraced Carrhae tightly, kissing her cheek many times. "I will never forget you. I am proud of you. And, I love you." She held Carrhae for a long time before she let go. She looked at her with pride, with honor, with happiness. Misha gently tapped Carrahe's temple, and nodded slowly to her. She smiled and walked away.
Finally, Misha found Kali. Wiping tears, she hugged and kissed her tightly and deeply. They both looked at all of those who remained, as if they could take a mental picture of their friends and remember it forever. When it was time, Misha took Kali by the hand, squeezed it, and closed her eyes and smiled. In a bright flash of red Acheronian light, both of them were gone.
As the days, months, and years went on, Carrhae knew that Misha and Kali was safe.
The night when they slayed the kraken, Kali had kept that lingering question at the back of her head of what now when they had their festivities. The pirate laughed and enjoyed herself with the others, but there was a time in the night where her tired body and aching muscles were screaming for a rest. She managed to pull Misha away from the celebration to her quarters where she would purpose the question of: What do we do now?
Their relationship had grown past friends with benefits into something Kali had told herself she would ward away from for the rest of her life, but with Misha it was different... Yet she needed to return back to her home plane. During the months of their adventures, the thought of the paladin needing to go back home would arise and in turn would make Kali's chest sting. What was the point of all of this if it was temporary? She'd go back into her same old habit of drinking, smoking, having sex with housewives, rinse and repeat, everyday. There was no other woman out there that had interested her as much as Misha did and Kali thought of herself as selfish for wanting to have her stay. She probably couldn't even do that in the first place.
"Then, why don't you just come weeth me?"
The question took her aback, and she stumbled over a few words before stopping herself and thinking.
Kali showed no issues with Carrhae stealing Misha away for a few minutes, taking the time to say her goodbyes to the rest of the crew. Before Sloop had gotten sent off she gave him a scratch at the back of his ears and a good job from her, then she moved to Wolf and thanked him for all the delicious meals he had provided her and the crew. Without him, they would have died long before this whole adventure started. To Syltra, she gave her numerous thank yous for keeping the crew alive, and for her amazing rigging and boarding work. She'd locate Erriviel and give him a spine crushing (but not really) hug because he needed it persuasion you can't stop me now and would thank him for dealing with a crew like them and that she hoped he would find that song he was on the hunt for. Finding the bride and groom wasn't difficult and she'd hug them both in congratulations, hoping the best for the two of them. Of course, the ship would be theirs to sail off in, and as an added bonus, Kali decided to give Ratking to the pair. "An extra wedding gift," She would laugh gently. "Can't take him where I'm goin'."
Finally, when Carrhae and Misha returned from their conversation, just before departure, Kali gave Carrhae a strong hug and a kiss on the forehead. "Who woulda thunk a girl like you could be a damn good captain," She quipped with a grin. "Be seein' ya, Carrhae. Please take care."
With her goodbye's said and done she turned to the red-head and gave her an affirming nod. She was ready for a new adventure and a new life, and with Misha by her side, she was sure that they would be okay.

“You think you’re going without me?” Syltra grins at Sana and winks at Chandor. “I’m coming with you. The sea is where I belong; plus, you’ll need an able crew.”
Syltra happily takes on her new role aboard the Belle. Her outlook has changed, though her purpose has remained the same. The difference was the confidence. Once only sure of herself in chaos, the young firbolg now finds that the power of the tempest is at her beck and call whenever she asks. And with that, comes a measure of control—of herself, of her surroundings, of life’s difficulties.
Hacing found herself a nice eyepatch, Syltra leans back with a pleased smile as she plays with the golden charm Carrhae had gifted her. Yes, this was the life she truly wanted. And it helped to know that, if ever another sea monster reared its head, she would have friends to call on to fight it.
This is it folks!! If Kali can do 65 points of damage to it - it's game over. You all win. Will she do it?! Can she do it?!
*Butts in* Herpes has a chance to help Kali kill it.
