OOC - Cool, was worried I'd missed a really obvious entrance lol.
Denethir watches Eurim fruitlessly throw himself against the bronze plate for a second, before piping up. "I doubt anyone will hear us down here, so shall we dispense with the pleasantries?" Holding his coin up, the half-elf's forearm glows green, and he fires a blast of eldritch energy at the brick wall.
OCC: If you had rolled a 1, I think I would have died :)
The force from the blast knocks a 2ft diameter hole in the wall. You can hear the sound of bricks hitting wood and metal as the force sends them flying into the room beyond.
"Well I appear to have found our method of escape, shall we get her to water?" Denethir takes out both his handaxes and begins to use them to prise away bricks from around the hole, in an attempt to make it large enough to enter the room.
As you work to clear away the brick wall, you become conscious of the howling and whistling wind as it enters the cave from hole you made coming in, despite the racket you are making. This wall, protect from the elements, is stronger and poses less of a chance of collapsing and you make a man sized hole.
Inside the tomb is a small clinker built galley, 30t in length and 8ft abeam. The weapons on the rack (for warriors who might serve him in death) are rusted, pitted and useless.
Climbing aboard, laying on a long wooden chest amidships is the wrapped, mummified body of the Prince. The ship's mast has been unstepped and lies in the bottom of the boat, coils of rope and oars lay across 3 sets of benches on either side of the ship. Aft, there is a long bench with a simple rudder. Two small covered hatchways, one fore and one aft, lead below.
Denethir approaches the body slowly, studying it suspiciously for signs of life (or un-life). He draws his scimitar, and after raising it above his head, brings it down sharply on the neck of the body.
More for RP reasons, so not going to roll anything unless you want me to...
"Not as sprightly as his parents were, it would seem; a stroke of luck for us..." The half-elf sheathes his sword and opens the aft hatchway, peering inside. "Anyone want to go down the other?"
The hatchway opens onto a small sleeping area, 2 bunk bed frames (sleeping for 4) hang from the ceiling by very heavily tarred ropes. The space between decks is 5ft. and the area is 15ft from long. Empty shelves line the rounded stern. In the center of the deck is another hatch.

Denethir proceeds to climb down to the sleeping area, and opens the next hatch, hoping that the other side is as plain and uninteresting as the area he stands in. He did not want any surprises once they set sail.
Denethir returns to the deck of the ship, a relieved smile on his face. "I have explored below-decks, and I am confident that we are no surprises down there. Now, someone lend me a hand with our prince, I fear he might not pull his weight if we were to bring him with us."
Eurim nods and helps Denethir move the Prince's body off the ship's deck. Out of curiosity, he pops open the casket once they return.
Eurim, with a frown, notes the state of the mast and oars. "Guess we really do need to pull our weight, to get out of this mess. Did the hull look sound? Wouldn't want to find out the hard way."
Denethir shrugs his noble shoulders at Eurim's question. "The odd occasion I have sailed anywhere, I had people to worry about those things for me. It's certainly in better condition than the ship we arrived on, but then that isn't really saying much."
He walks towards the wall, and begins dismantling more of it to allow the boat a route to the water. After a few bricks, he turns to Ruki. "Be a helpful goblin will you, and try and open that chest our Prince was lying on, there might be something useful in there."

You only looked in the back half :)
But the front half (the hold) is also empty, except for some empty water casks and long rotted salted fish. Frames for over 2 more double bunks are fastened to the wall.

OOC - No worries. Next question - is that an entrance to the walled off tomb at S17/18?
S17-S18 is cave wall. S16-S13 & S12 - Z12 is brick wall.

They the dim light, you see the looming shape of a very large boat or small ship. Arranged neatly on racks before the ship stand pole arms and swords.
