Leaders, cannot put their hands on any part of the challenge, except from the lever, or teammates if a spell requires touch. So without being able to do that, I don't think Leaders can help with the bags. However, you leaders can help with the puzzle if they do so in a way that makes sense.
Additionally, when the runners are back with their bags, they are effectively, out of the challenge, and will drop out from the initiative order.
Lastly, each action will make 2 sleight of hand checks for the bags. You need 3 total successful checks to untie the knots, a bonus action to unlock the puzzle, then an action to work on the puzzle, which requires an investigation check.
As a reminder, winning tribe earns a shelter building kit, losing tribe forfeits their fishing gear. If a tribe pulls the lever, they lose the challenge, but keep their fishing gear, they also give the winning tribe, 20 eggs as well as flint (which makes creating fire, much easier).

Action: Search for Bag: Sleight of Hand: 23 - Roll says not available, editing to see if this fixes it.
If found, LeShanna will run 30 feet, and will also go on auto-pilot to dash back to the solvers.
