After a short while Brother Dwen Boomboom returns with what appears to be an old, well preserved scroll. Brother Dwen opens the scroll carefully. He gestures to any of you to come to look at it.

The scroll was written by a young soldier named Leon Varsic, who would eventually become a member of the temple of Torm. The scroll details Leon leading you all to the temple where The Dark Lord was and you all suddenly vanishing. Leon and a few others suspected it was something unique so they prepared for your return. Eventually several temples were erected in hopes for your return, but you never came back. Each priest was tasked in gathering information on summoning the lost heroes. One priest in the year 1738 discovered that it possibly could be time travel and soon the priests were tasked in ways of returning you all home if you wished.

"Now that you have arrived what do you wish to do?" Brother Dwen asks.

Jennar: you are spending your time looking for other messages, but there don't seem to be any written in thieves cant. There are messages, but they are written in some sort of glyphs you have never seen before.

Loch: Give me a perception check if you want to keep an eye out for enemies

"Are you really a priest of Torm?" Rou will get closer to the rat folk. "Do you swear on Tyr, God of justice protector of the weak? Seeker of Justice and bringer of Vengeance? " Rou saying his prayer will cast Zone of Truth.  He must make a CHA saving throw DC 14. He can willingly fail if he wants to.

OOC: [ Well everyone within a 15ft radius of Rou has to make the save. :P]

Loch: you have an eerie feeling that something or someone is watching you. You look out into the distance and spot a hint of a red cloak, and then as quickly as you spot it, it vanishes.

"I am not really a priest of Torm. I am an archivist. It sort of fell on to me when Kentai died," Brother Dwen answers. (He willingly failed the Zone of Truth)

Loch pulleys his weapon and takes a defensive position, “Take defensive positions everyone. We are being watched.” He yells out. “I saw something in red off in the distance”

Loch some thing in the distance takes a shot at you. 

Attack: 16

Damage: 15

The shot was rather loud, and you all watch your new allies hit the ground trying to avoid getting shot

Loch hears a loud sound and a split second later he feels something hit him hard knocking him to one knee. “Find cover!” he yells out as he scrambles to find cover himself.

Razek quickly scans the direction the arrow came from and bolts in that direction. As he runs, he'll try to spot and find the shooter.

(Not sure which one you'd want, so here you go)

Razek: Unfortunately you are unable to find the shooter.

Loch: You noticed whatever seemed to have hit you wasn't an arrow it was smaller and faster.

Everyone: If you want you are able to find cover. The sniper seems to be waiting for some movement.

Brother Dwen attempts to run back to his temple. You all hear a loud bang. Then you all watch as his brother collapses to the ground. You are unsure whether or not the Ysoki is dead or not. Arion dashes over and drags the archivist's body into cover. You notice Skeets is floating rather low to the ground beside Arion awaiting orders

Is Jennar's passive perception of 14 enough to spot the sniper? If yes, she'll attack, but if not she'll use her action to try and perceive: 15. As a bonus action, she'll hide. Stealth: 17.

Jennar: Your passive perception is not enough, but with a role like that you are able to pick up the general location of the sniper. The sniper appears to be invisible and very good at stealth. You can guess that the invisibility is a higher end spell or maybe some new technology. You are successfully able to find cover. The sniper doesn't seem to notice you.

Arion swears in a language you all never heard of, but you can guess it is a swear based on how he said it.

"My ships pretty close, we can try to make a break for it," Arion suggests

"That sounds like a good idea. I'm not made for fighting invisible snipers."

What red did Jennar see?

"We shouldn't have any enemies chasing us! Arion keep pressure on his wound! I am making my way to you, How far is the ship!?"

Rou's shield opens it eye wide, as he lifts it to protect himself from the bolts. Rou mutters a prayer "Tyr, give me the strength to protect myself and my party! Grant me you Shield!" As a bonus action he cast Shield of Faith then moving to Brother Dwen using his Lay on Hands to stabilize him, healing him for 5 Hp.
