Looking up the stairs, you notice it to be dark but it still goes up all the way. The metallic architecture signals that this set of stairs used to be the emergency exit.
A little taken aback by Ilia's change in tone of voice and seemingly earnest plea, Jones falters in his commanding presence. All the same, he holds a hand out toward Whispers to request the bag.
OOC: Should have asked this before. Where the weapons in the bag or along with the bag? For some reason, I was thinking they were in the bag, but now that I'm rereading the description, I'm thinking not since there's a baseball bat.
As Whispers reenters the building with the bag, Jones steps into the alleyway and collects the weapons after putting on gloves, checking both guns to make sure the safety is on. He puts them in his waistband and carries the bat. After Whispers drops the bag, Jones picks up the bag and opens it to look at the drugs. He then puts the guns in the bag and puts it on, making sure it doesn't impede his movement or his access to his gun, mace or handcuffs. After everything is secure, and ignoring Whispers's looks, Jones starts up the stairs as she suggested.
The team ascends the steps and enters a the north end of a Z shaped hall way. The stairs allow them to enter through the west side of said hall way. There were more stairs leading to the higher floors but they are broken.
The Z-shaped hallway in question has windows to it's north and south end. It is lined with numerous doors on each side. On the west wall of the south end, is a large waiting area and another reception desk. There is another set of stairs here going up and down. These are the stairs, if went down, leads back to the reception on the first floor. The lights in the waiting area seem to work. There are more lights in the hall but these lights don't work as well.
"Hm, the lights work," Jones comments. "That's strange. Why haven't they cut the power to this building?" He begins looking around for anything of note. He'd love it if he could find a key to that door. Is there debris and trash up here like on the first floor?
Though the amount of debris is still lower than what was on the first floor, it's still there. Also there's a lot of trash here. You don't find any keys in the hall. It'd be too easy huh?
Opening most of the doors leads to find that it leads to either a doctor or nurse's office. As expected, the office is in ruins but it still has the desks and the cabinets.
The door at the near end of the hall leads to a storage closet. One of the door leads to a wider hall with more doors.
Near the waiting area, you see that the stairs that connect this floor to the first floor is not broken like the stairs you took to get up here and thus can be used to access the upper floors.
Well there aren't any keys here so maybe that's a sign moving up may be a good idea. The hall that leads to the medical wards have blood on the floor and some of the walls.

"Dayum, girl! That's something impressive there! What's in the bag?"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Whispers steps away from the stairs and looks over at Ilia, "Nothing much. Drugs."
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
"Drugs?" Jones asks. "I'll need to confiscate those," he says, serious as a heart attack.
Whispers rolls her eyes then looks at Creature, "Stay on task, fuzzy. Awful smell. Zombies. Remember?" she motions up the stairs, "We going?"
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
"Whispers. You should give them to Jones. Please." Ilia says this, all jest gone from her voice.

A little taken aback by Ilia's change in tone of voice and seemingly earnest plea, Jones falters in his commanding presence. All the same, he holds a hand out toward Whispers to request the bag.
Whispers looks between the two and lets out a big dramatic sigh, "You two are exactly no fun." she tosses the backpack on the floor.
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"

No, the weapon's weren't in the bag.
Retcon, then ...

Whispers looks around a moment.. she starts to open any closed doors without a touch (thaumaturgy) to peek inside from the hallway.

Any blood up here? Do we hear anything? Is there any sign that moving further up would benefit us?
Well there aren't any keys here so maybe that's a sign moving up may be a good idea. The hall that leads to the medical wards have blood on the floor and some of the walls.

Whispers goes to search a couple of the offices.

Whispers doesn't find anything interesting beyond some old medical documents and empty boxes of meds. Would anyone like to help her look?
