Fair point. But let's not use harsh words, it won't do us any good if we start hating each other half way through the mission , and as probably most of you realized already i like to think of everyone as friends or potential friends as weird or unrealistic as that might seem .
As we pass the family of halflings and our party is mostly distracted by Them atm I would like to privately whisper to Kylara
(the other characters don’t hear this so you can read but in character your characters won’t know of this)
you said if I had any questions about elf heritage I could ask you. Maybe tonight when the others are resting I could ask you some questions. I need to know more of these “Eladrins”. I’ll explain more later in private but they are of interest to me.
SPOILERS:
Of course I will help you expand your knowledge about the elvish race, our customs...and anything else you may wish it know. As she says the last portion there is a hint of something but you can't seem to make it our due to not knowing the elvish language properly. Just come by my tent.
OOC: sure how to make the spoiler thing sorry guys. Limited time today been meaning to look it up
20 mins before his night shift watch Demetrio awakes and goes to speak with Kylara while the others are resting.
.I am looking for a Eladrin elf named Sigurd. He has gold skin and long white hair and gleaming white eyes. He wears a white tunic and a red cloak. Have you seen him or do you know anything about him? I have a debt to repay and I must find him.

The night passed peacefully, as you expected given how you can see the trail is not much used. No-one appears to pass by, and no animals come to investigate the campfire.
In the morning, you awake. The day is a little cooler than the past two; the sky is now cloudier, with large white clouds blocking the sun. Judging from the map, you might reach Phandalin tonight; if not, certainly tomorrow morning.
You head off east along the trail. Whoever is driving the cart today, please make another Animal Handling check. If you're not on the cart, please indicate your position relative to it (i.e., in front, to the side, behind)
(Feel free to continue to role play the conversation between Demetrio and Kylara - we assume it happened the night before, or continued in the morning as you prefer).
Steinarr helps to break camp and then resumes his position near the oxen to walk on foot as Demetrio seems to have built a rapport with the foul tempered (in his opinion) oxen
It's another sluggish start; the oxen seem in a bad mood and keep stopping for no readily-apparent reason. You suspect that you probably won't make it to Phandalin tonight, but it doesn't matter.
Though you are far from the Neverwinter Wood and the forest proper, there are more and more trees and from time to time you pass through quite densely wooded areas. The morning's journey is as peaceful as the previous days; it's looking that this will be an easy job.
(Soron i switch to winter) I finish my meditation after everyone is awake and say: Good morning everyone, have you slept well? you sense a change in his mood compared to the last 2 days(if you pay attention)
Steinarr sees Demetrio looking about. He pats him on the shoulder and says Don’t worry my friend I’m sure you’ll spot something if it’s there. He casts Guidance on Demetrio. (Add 1d4 to the next skill check)
Demetrio, you see the empty countryside around you, with little movement to speak of. From time to time, as you pass through a few hundred feet of woods, you keep a keen eye out, but notice nothing out of the ordinary. The oxen seem to get over their initial anxiety in the morning, and you all continue on your way.
The sun reaches its peak and continues to descend; you reckon you are not far from the turning south to Phandalin. You approach a corner in the path headed through a forested area; there are steep embankments and dense thickets to either side of the road. You turn the corner, and before you on the trail you see two horses lying still across your path, about fifty feet ahead of you. There are black-feathered arrows sticking out of each.
The horses appear from this distance to be dead. They block the trail, and will need to be moved in order to get the cart through.

I will speak how I please.
Fair enough.
Soron takes out his spellbook and checks his spells, waiting for any other interactions and for everyone to go to sleep and begin his watch.
After a short while Soron takes out his other book and ,with a piece of charcoal he begins to write something on the empty spots of the pages.

I’d like to take a goood look at our surrounding. Trying to see if there is something spooking the oxen nearby making them hesitant to move.
Demetrio looks around keenly. Make a Perception check.

I'll take the passenger seat again if no one else wants it.

What would you like to do?
I would like to investigate the arrows first and then attempt to move the dead horses out of the way.
