Steinarr, what appears to be another patch of earth and grass collapses under your foot; you spring back on instinct, bumping into X, as a hole six feet in diameter opens up before you. The slender twigs and leaves that had been used to camouflage it fall away, and you see a ten-foot drop into a pit in front of you; it would have been a painful fall if your reflexes had not been so good.
You're in open ground; it will be easy to walk around the pit; it was clearly put here for any stranger who was following this trail.
Bugger me that was a close one!! Sorry for the sudden invasion of your personal space X. Carefully now guys around the pitfall we must be getting close.
Once his nerves have settled Steinarr will continue along the track. Even more alert for hidden dangers after that close call
Not far from the pit trap, you turn a corner around a small hill and see ahead of you the mouth of a cave. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side of the stream. There are a few thick bushes between you and the cave opening, which is currently about sixty feet ahead of you. The trail, as far as you can tell, leads right into the cave.
I saw you using magic earlier to move dirt to cover the carts trail when you were hiding it? Do you think that spell could move those bushes full of thorns to make a safer path to the cave?
Soron, near the cave mouth but hidden by a large thicket, Odinn sees two goblins who appear to be having an argument with each other. So far, they don't appear to have noticed Odinn, the party or anything else except their own business, but they are probably near enough to hear if the party makes much noise.
Soron calls Odinn back and he can now see and hear.
(whispering, but loud enough so everyone can here (not the goblins)) Guys, guys ,guys... don't make to much noise there are 2 goblins by the cave entrance, we should try and take them by surprise. They did not notice us yet.
Good thinking, send the mage with no armor first, which reminds me (you see Soron grab something underneath his cloak and then he starts muttering something and then a translucent blueish suit of armor appears on him for a second and then disappears *i cast Mage Armor on myself-- current AC= 13*)
Ok, i'm ready. I can try to distract them, and then we all attack.
we can just lay a trap of some sort. I have 2 options. A bell I can attach to one of my ropes to lure them into a trap we set or I can use my mirror to reflect light at them to get them to come over.either way I hear goblins like shiny things. But I have no personal things to set the trap. Only ways to lure them to whatever we can come up with.
demetrio looks around at his surroundings trying to find anything of use.
What about the pit? We use that spell of Kylara’s to cover it back over and put something shiny on top of it? Maybe sharpen some spikes for the bottom?
i believe I can place all of the dirt back to reset the trap, bit may take a little while to prepare. Kylara states but adds, But if it is a trap that they set themselves then how are supposed to expect them to fall for it? As for moving the bushes I believe it would make too much noise and they would notice. I say we just rush them with a surprise attack or distract them with a glowing stone or something shiny to yet again a surprise attack.

What would you like to do?
Soron looks at the bushes from above in case there are goblins hidden in them then tells everybody what he sees.
Perception (if needed) : 23 (Odinn's modifier is 3(added))
Demetrio turns to x and says
Well I’m following you. Let’s go.
After joking with x he ask kylara

Steinarr whispers back
Sneaking isnt really my thing, I could always wait until you and Kylara get closer before getting spotted by them

I meant for the two of you to get into an advantageous position before I run screaming and spitting at them
Steinarr pulls out a hand axe and hefts his shield ready to move
Demetrio shakes his head..... then whispers.

I can only lure them too... i can make a stone glow (Soron says that before Demetio starts looking around for stuff)
Or i can do something more weird, but it might work and we might not need a trap.

I can try to make them attack each other Soron states after Kylara finishes
