Ree'lyn takes mental note of the mountain and the cave location, to sketch it down in his map.
He thanks Sildar with a nod and a smile. "Is their wine good? I am in need of wine, a meal and a bath. ". Looking around, he thinks about their next move. "A hot bath will be relaxing. However, I think we should look for the client of this delivery and then decide where to tie the oxen and the cart. Where is the client located? "
You are about 30 min from Phandelin now. You are all hungry, tired, and worn down.
Sildar: Barthen's is where the supplies is to be given. However I do suggest a room for the night. However, I seemed to have thought I'd get here a day earlier than you all and have procured my sleeping arrangments early. Maybe the Stonehill has openings. We can check there first before we do anything else.
"I worry for the safety of the wagon on the street if we get distracted inside the inn. The earlier we get it to the contact the better, right? I do want to take a rest, no doubt. " Still following the road, Ree'lyn uses his talents to get himself and his gear dry and clean along the way repeatingPrestidigitation by hovering his hand over each place at a time.
Cairn to the group.( As we approach phandelver i assume)
I wouldnt mind staying back. Honestly i feel like if we find who these supplies were intended for, they would be thankful. Though i dont really wanna be here alone. Sildar, ye know folks here so id say ye should lead on. How about it Gilliam? Would ye stay bak with me?
"Oh, I don't want to impose on you guys, I was just following because there seems to be safety in numbers along this road, but sure I could help you guard your cart if you want me to. Though I don't think we should send Sildar in alone."
Well not all the way in. It is a bandit town from my understanding. So we will just have the cart just outside and ill be here to guard it with whoever also stays back
Ah mate. Yeh know this place aint so proper right? Ye gonna get robbed acting all upper class. I wanna help ye out here. Please, you gotta sound like ye throat is dry. Also you make a face like ye smelt something horrible. That way nobody approaches. Then when ye walkin ye gotta walk with urgency. It shows a form of dominance. Ye want them to think yer hot shit. Pardon my dwarven slang. Maybe make yerself a bit less clean as well?
You guys realize this town has seen better days. There is cracked stone and paint on buildings that where at their prime more than 100 years ago. Barthen's is a one story store closer to the middle of the town. It is across from the StoneHill Inn. You enter and see a dimly lit store that is worse for ware. You see a counter right in the front along with some boxes stacked up in the back. You here someone speaking in the back.
Barthen: No, you have to stack that item on top of the other boxes. No you are doing it wrong! Hold on there are people here.
You see a stoutly dwarf waddling up to the counter
Ree'lyn whispers to Cairn. "Bear with me. I have a plan. And yes, you are right. That is exactly what we are looking for."With Sildar by his, Ree'lyn takes a discreet look around with every step he takes. He answers the greeting with a bow and a smile. "Your merchandise has arrived."
Gilliam is still a bit confused about how you guys handle things. He choses to follow Ree'lyn: "We braved terrible storms to deliver you your requested goods, good sir Dwarf, but we managed to get it all to your doorstep!"
Barthen: My a storm? We haven't seen storms in years. I am heartfully thankful that ye have gathered the supplies for the Rock-seeker's. They will be wanting them back. How long have you fellows been in town for?
As he says this he pays the group 100 GP. So as a group you must split that amongst those of you who braved the cave. Gilliam you will have more chances for gold. I think that is only 4 of you if im not mistaken
Ree'lyn calculates the share between Cairn, Flyn and himself. "That is 33 gold coins for our very successful delivery service."Tossing one gold coin to Gilliam. "Your beer is guaranteed for this night."
Back to Barthen, Ree'lyn retakes the conversation. "What is the most unusual in these areas, Goblins and Bugbears or the windy storm that hit is on the road? So, from my understanding there should be clouds and a dark sky noticeable by others in a distance for such a strong storm, right? I dislike open sky, mind you. I had to learn the bit I know about weather."
"How well is business for you and others in town faring nowadays? Who is in charge? "

Flyn skips back to where they had camped. "Well that was exciting. A good storm to get your blood charged. I feel more powerful already."
He will walk around scooping up the stuff that fell out of his bag with his Mage Hand.
"I am keen on staying in an Inn for the night."
Cairn to Sildar with a smile

Ree'lyn closes his notebook, where he keeps undisclosed content he has been writing.
"Sildar, I will enter by your side. I must make the proper impression to the people in this place, so they can speak openly to me on my inquiries."
