Roselina watches in disappointment as she could only get the light around one of those vampire spawn. Then she saw all them attack, resulting in Ebur being killed and Vrak being grabbed, having heard Ebur say to run. "Fine, let's get out of here then!" she says as she then uses Mantle of Inspiration, giving 5 temp hp to everyone and allowing them to immediately use their reactions to move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks. Then Roselina would Dash to try to get out of here as quickly as possible.
Bonus Action: Mantle of Inspiration - As a bonus action, spend one use of Bardic Inspiration to grant 5 temporary HP to up to 4 creatures you can see and that can see you within 60 ft. Each creature can immediately use its reaction to move up to its speed, without provoking opportunity attacks.
Action: Dash 60 feet heading back toward the exit out of here
(OOC: From the PHB: If you have 0 hit points, receiving temporary hit points doesn't restore you to consciousness or stabilize you. They can still absorb damage directed at you while you're in that state, but only true healing can save you. It does mean I will let Roselina change her bonus action before I post up)
Feeling inspiration flood him, Quilrith runs towards the exit, looking back at Ebur with a pained expression and hoping the ball bearings at least slow the fiends down.
As Sova takes a swing and misses, he looks to one of the vampires and marks it for the future, getting angry that the group is having no success against these undead.
Vrak then runs forward, barely missing as it dodges out of the way at the last second. Quil steps foward to attack one of the Vampires, and as he swings the vampire once again manages to get out of the way of the strike, so he drops a number of ball bearings on the floor to try and make it more difficult for them as the group start planning their retreat.
Ebur calls out his advice as he tosses and turns on the groud, the vampire spawn looming over him. Roselina looks at the situation and provides the possibility of everyone escaping by her mantle, before running out and away from the place herself.
((OOC: Vrak still has the option to run, should he wish to - just let me know as you can use your reaction here to do so, or if your staying put - the vampires are up next so bear that in mind when you decide what to do))
Vrak, seeing that they are out numbered and others of the party are getting out he tactically retreats along with the others hoping to draw the vampire span outside.
As Vrakroth runs out, the vampire spawn surround Ebur, having claimed a meal satisfied as the rest of you retreat, leaving Ebur to his fate. As you all come down the stairs, a human man that is currently the most handsome man in the room, looks upon you all and smiles. "It looks like my children got their meal, after all," he says as he shows two sharp fangs. His hair slick back and in a black suit, holding the shopkeeper by the scruff, two puncture wounds on his neck. "At least I won't have to look after them tonight. I want to thank you for providing such a meal for my little ones," the man teases. "But, you are messing with my affairs, and so the price needs to be shown. I think I'll add your friend to my collection," he says. "And you can know the true consequences when you start messing with Count Strahd Von Zarovich!" he says as he turns into a horde of bats that flies out the broken down door, leaving the now dead shopkeeper on the ground in the perpetual greyness of Barovia.
Roselina had gone down the stairs first and stopped right in her tracks, both very surprised and even more stunned by the handsome human man in the room. She would have smiled and blushed until he opened his mouth and spoke, realizing that he is really a vampire and how he's holding the shopkeeper by the scruff, bite marks on the neck. Damn it, someone should have stayed down here with the shopkeeper! She listened to him, trying hard not to swoon until he said his name and turned into a horde of bats, flying off. That's Strahd Von Zarovich?! Wow, the Vistani were not kidding when they said he was handsome, easily seeing how he could have been a prince. Now she was questioning if they could have even 'saved' him, considering that he is a vampire and certainly seems serious about going against them. What a shame, someone so handsome like that being a vampire and an enemy, knowing that her original plan going in is now useless. What's even worse is now they just lost another group member and a civilian too, thanks to Strahd. "Let's get back to the church for now since the vampires are still upstairs." she would say to everyone, trying to keep calm and take charge.
((Roselina went after you, and you used your attack which missed, the Reaction was after that, so you couldn't heal him as part of the reaction, which only lets you move))
(OOC: Thanks for the game, all. Ebur was fun to play, but his time has come, and I'm satisfied that he was able to contribute the the macabre atmosphere with a grisly demise. I won't be volunteering a new PC as I have enough on at the moment. Happy to move on, and will see you around the forums. Cheers!)

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
(OOC: Oh wow, sorry to see you go. It was fun to see the unique way Ebur reacted to the world, glorious death allowing your team mates to escape though!)
Dashing Down the stairs Quil skids to a halt, Watching as The vampire Lord drops the Shop keeper and transforms into a cloud of bats, his mouth falls open and he stares blankly.
"What are we going to do? Ebur is gone, and there's Vampires everywhere! How are we supposed to fight a swarm of bats? We need to get out of this accursed land. poor Ebur, he was smelly but That's no way to die! Sova? Do you at least have the bones? Lets get back to the church, we need to move, Before those Things get down here. I'm sorry I'm babbling again!"
Sova listens in horror as he hears Ebur being attacked by the vampires and he starts to hear the screams of his village, his wife and his child. Tears roll down his face as he turns and makes for the building's exit.
He hears Quil question and though he doesn't speak, motions to his backpack and nods.
The walk back to the church is a quiet one. Everyone reflecting on the loss of Ebur, you eventually find yourselves standing outside the church once more.
"In all of that, did anyone find and grab the bones, or did we fail in that also?" Vrak says as the burden of his failure lies heavily on his shoulders. "I am sorry friends, I should have done better than that. I will not fail again."
Roselina had been annoyed by Quil's babbling before they made their way back to the church. When they got back, she had heard Vrakvroth as she sighed. "It wasn't just your fault. We weren't fully prepared to deal with all those vampire spawn and we did not expect Strahd to kill the old man while we were all upstairs distracted either. We just have to move on and get stronger so that we can properly be ready to handle fighting vampires and be able to defeat Strahd." she told everyone before she went up to the church doors. She knocked as she then opened up the doors and walked inside. "Father Petrovich?" Roselina calls out as she looks around for him, hoping that Strahd hadn't attacked the church as well since the bones were gone.
"you're right, We can defeat this Evil in Ebur's memory, next time we will be prepared for anything this Devil can throw at us, Let's get the bones back, stock up on supplies and face this together. You haven't failed us Vrak ad we will be right by your side, or slightly behind you in my casehe says with an infectious grin!"
With that he walks in the church beside Roselina, wary for any more suprises, but hopeful they can restore the bones.

Sova immediately runs down the stairs using his reaction and turns and readies his next shot to provide cover fire for the groups retreat.
He shouts, "Run, I'll provide cover. Get Ebur out of here fast!!!" He mutters a quick prayer to himself to Artemis and Athena.
(OOC: The temp HPs are enough for Ebur to regain consciousness, right? If so, is he still grappled?)

(OCC: Keep it the same as I figured that getting everyone else the free immediate movement would be more important right now.)
(I'm cool with that)
