"I am not looking to make any enemies but it is hard to break old habbits. With my new friends here they are making it easier for me and hopefully will help to keep me on some sort of straight and narrow path but I cant 100% promise anything. However though you seem like the type of person he keeps his word and i respect that"
Nate also listens intently to Omnia's story, very much glad that she is on our side... and then starts to feel the tiredness setting in after quite a long day of travelling.
Nate is good to retire up to bed whenever everyone else is (no rush of course!).
I am happy with whatever, but I would like it if nomadicgamr could continue with us; but I also understand we can't wait forever so I'll do what ever the group decided.
I'm still really enjoying this, and I agree we need to have regularly active players for it to be fun.
It would be awesome if nomadicgamr can continue.
Perhaps we could seek out a new member in the forums in the meantime, and then if Brom comes back of course he'd always be welcome. Steve, want me to handle that?
Ok guys I have started a LFP thread for a replacement player. I guess this would be for Idalie's slot in case Brom comes back. Perhaps in a week or two if he doesn't, then we can get a second replacement to bring us back up to 5.
Ok guys we have tons of interest. Here's 2 players that seem good, let me know if you're onside and what character each player should use, and then I'll get them into the thread.
Player: IrRyo Characters: High Elven Monk or a Dwarf Barbarian
Player: Xaipher Characters: Human Life Cleric OR Human Barbarian
Personally I like the Elf Monk + Human Barbarian combo
The party of Brom, Ophirinn, Omnia and Nate head up to their separate rooms, as does Sildar. You spend the night peacefully in the Stonehill Inn, and complete a long rest.
In the morning, you all come down and sit together for a short time as you eat a light breakfast. The innkeeper Toblen is awake and welcomes you to your table. He serves a mix of breads, some cheese and fruit, with fresh water to drink. It's a pleasant meal and you enjoy the quiet; you are the only people in the common room aside from the innkeeper's wife Trilena, who is helping Toblen to clean the tables and chairs from the night before.
Sildar does not join you; he waves a greeting and grabs some bread, but heads out early. I must speak with the Townmaster, and I must find Iarno. Please come and find me later; I will either be at the Townmaster's Hall, or back here at the inn. He leaves, still wincing slightly as he walks, the wounds of the last few days mostly healed but still paining him a little.
The day is yours. You've heard of a number of options for what to do; you could find Sildar and the Townmaster, you could investigate the shrine and Sister Garaele, you could head back to Barthen's to do some shopping, you could go investigate the manor where Iarno is said to have disappeared, you could try to find out if anyone knows about the supplies you found in the goblin cave with the blue lion symbol. Lots of options.
Nate has a wonderful sleep and feels quite rested. He dreams of this magical artifact that is apparently in this Lost Mine of Phandelver and hopes that the day brings the group closer to it. After the breakfast, he starts to think about what is next.
"Good morning everyone, I trust you all had a good of a sleep as I?" Nate tries to make some small talk to the group about how comfortable the bed was and what might be next for the day.
"It seems Sildar has left early to find the Townsmaster... I imagine we should go and catch up with him. I fear for his friend Iarno who was poking around in that old manor and I am sure the Townsmaster will be able to give us more information...."
"....Unless you guys want to just go to the manor now...? Nate sends a curious, mischievous grin to his comrades hoping they will agree. "We could at the least have a closer look at it and the surroundings, and then go meet up with Sildar?"
"Morning Nate, yeah the bed was OK but can't beat a hammock on a ship. The miners from last night said about seeing the townsmaster as well so we should go and see him at some point today I am happy to go poking around the old Manor first though"
As you are all speaking, you notice that the innkeeper Toblen is standing in the doorway and looking worried. He steps out for a moment, and you hear him in conversation with someone. It doesn't sound friendly.
Perhaps a minute later, he comes back in and heads to your table, just as you're finishing your breakfast. Umm, I'm really sorry. I... Things aren't exactly great in Phandalin at the moment. Please, I think it would be best if you leave town, just for now. It's a bit dangerous here, there are some folks passing through and they don't like strangers so much, and so....
You hear a loud voice from outside. Hey Tobbers! Send them out, or we'll come in and get them. You know you don't want that.
Toblen is looking genuinely afraid. They're dangerous. Please, just let them escort you out of town. It's best for everyone, really. You seem like good folk, and I don't want anyone to get hurt.

(OOC: I'll wait to hear from Brom and Ophirinn before moving the story on to the next day...)
OOC - Sorry for lack of replies
Ophirinn nods at Nates suggestion "retiring for the night sounds like a good idea."
"good night guys see you in the morning" Omnia heads up to her room and settles down for the night

I agree think we will have to recruit from forums and then brom can rejoin luckily in a position where we can pick up with a new adventurer
