Misha saw the enormous creature emerge from the sand and was filled with excitement.

Bane truly has blessed me on this day! Look at the SIZE of it! 

She laughed out loud with the anticipation of the chance to earn honor and glory and looked over to where Meera and Sherri were. Meera looked a little pale, but Sherri started yelling and made Misha think of when she flashed her boobs before. What an adorable pair of teets, she remembered.

That's when the wave of earth came.

So close. Misha jumped a little too short and hit the ground, kissing the dirt. "OuF!"

While Meera watches Aphos, Dornos, and Misha, she purchases some more churros and begins nervously eating one.

Aphos is clearly surprised by the tunneling behemoth. 

"Alright, now that's a challenge." Aphos rises and levels his right arm at the beast. The protruding arms snap forward and a steel bolt springs from the top of the minotaur's wrist.

(Hand Crossbow: 5 for 5+1 piercing)

The bolt strikes home as an eruption blasts in the bullette's face.

(Extra 6 fire damage from Exploding Ammunition Infusion. Need a DC 12 DEX save for half dmg)

CON Concentration save: 11

Musharib starts cheering as soon as the combatants take the field and an intense hush falls over the crowd as the monstrosity tunnels upward from below. As it draws first blood and the combatants are knocked to the ground, a booming cheer rocks the coliseum as the crowd roars with delight. Musharib stands and nearly loses his bucket of grubs, but manages to catch it just in time. "Look at the size o'it, Dornos me boy, best be fightin' well!"

In the middle of the arena, the combatants hear nothing but the whirling winds and the roars of their opponent. The stoney creature whips around, lunging at the mustachioed fighter with its maw opened wide. The whimpering man hadn't even yet risen to his feet, and the terrifying creature grabs him by the leg, tossing him into the thirty feet in the air. He lets out a terrified shriek as he plummets straight into the creature's tooth-filled jaws, his cries cut short. The sickening sound of teeth rending flesh and the crunching of bone reverberate in the ears of everyone in the coliseum, perhaps amplified by the Master of Ceremonies's magics.

Dornos gets some distance from the beast, closer to Musharib and the others (so he can hear the words of affirmation!). His eyes flash a brilliant green for a moment, and he utters a word in an ancient primordial dialect, pointing his blade directly at the creature (Hexblade’s Curse).

(Action to disengage, and moving the hell away from the beast!)

While he backpedals, he whips his yklwa in a circular motion and sends another eldritch blast at the monster!

Blessed Spell Attack: 12 Damage: 12 force

Meera recoils at the sight of the bulette just eating some poor rando. "That's unpleasant."

The bulette snaps at air menacingly as Dornos moves away from it.

Misha runs up to the land shark, raising her hammer.

Bane. Guide my hand!

Guided Strike. You can use your Channel Divinity to strike with supernatural accuracy. When you make an attack roll, you can use your Channel Divinity to gain a +10 bonus to the roll. You make this choice after you see the roll, but before the DM says whether the attack hits or misses.

Warhammer: Attack: 20 Damage: 12

A brilliant flash of red arcane light erupted from her hammerhead upon impact, adding divine damage to the hit.

(The next time you hit with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration, your attack deals an extra 1d6 psychic damage. Additionally, if the target is a creature, it must make a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the spell ends - 1 minute. As an action, the creature can make a Wisdom check against spell save DC13 to steel its resolve and end this spell.

 Misha's wrathful smite strikes a massive block of stone from the creature's mid section revealing soft flesh underneath. It roars in anger and frustration. It turns to look at Misha, and she sees the fear in its eyes. 

The other fighters cheer as Misha strikes her heavy blow and rush toward the beast stabbing at it with spear and sword. 

Aphos smiles as the surging throng. It wasn't that he was opposed too fighting, simply that with so many in melee, he could fight more strategically rather than through strength of arms. The main hang-up, however, was that he couldn't use his special munitions without catching his pseudo-allies in the blast.

(Crossbow with regular ammo: 14 for 2)

The bulette lets out a pained yelp and dives back beneath the sands. Some of the miscellaneous combatants are caught in the tremor as the bulette disengages, burrowing even as they cling to its stony carapace. They are raked across the sand and lay prone and partially buried in the sandstone beneath. From the center of the ring to the seats of the stadium, everyone can feel tremors rumble below the surface.

Dornos bides his time, backing up and getting ready to dodge any incoming attacks from the hidden monster.

Misha brings her hammer down again on the landshark. This was it. This was the killing blow. She could feel it, and Bane was guiding her hand.

 The other miscellaneous gladiators pull themselves up from the rubble and start to dust themselves off confused. The tremors begin again and the bulette launches itself into the air again, lunging toward the mass of other gladiators sending them sprawling in the dirt, most of them breathing but unconscious. It whips its stony tail around and roars, stamping its heavy feet on the ground. Misha strikes its jaw with full force, mid-roar and the creature emits a pained yipping noise. 

[ooc : I forgot I was going to use MingoFaust's Concurrent Initative rules, and for the next round I'll go ahead and start implementing them if you all do not mind. Just post your declared action and your rolls with an added initiative roll and I will provide an update after everyone has posted their action or bot folks who have not declared after 24 hours or so.]

Now that the bulette has unceremoniously dispensed with all of the mooks, it sees Misha as its true enemy and lunges toward her trying to deliver a fatal bite.

"Just a big target!" Aphos' strike is nearly perfect as it falls across the beast's oversized torso.

Meera lets out a sigh of relief when the Bulette whiffs on Misha. "Oh, thank the gods."

"TAKE DOWN THAT ROCK LOBSTER LOOKIN' ***** GUYS!" Sherri bellows from the crowd, getting real into it now. "Nice hit Aphos! Show that deformed rock whatcha got now Meesh!!!"

Dornos will run at the Bulette and strike well with his longhandled blade, spinning it about his waist in a fashion that seems designed to add leverage to the strikes, using his hip as a fulcrum.

Misha, side stepping the land shark's attack, quickly recovered and brought her hammer down on the beast.
