Tarian attacks the half-orc unarmed. She wants his attention on her, so she’s saying something she hopes will make him angry and not pulling out her weapon to make herself look weaker. Thia's eyes would go wide as the angry brute comes barreling down towards her, "Oh sh-" she'd backpedel in an attempt to defend herself only to get smoked with the full force of the half-orc's furry. The artificer would gasp in pain only for her breath to have escaped her from to blow to her ribs. It would be as if things slowed down from the dizzying blow, wheezing for air as her hand would fumble around for her handaxe that was stuck in the cart.
Thia would flinch at the initial cold touch to her shoulder until there was a sense of warmth infusing her with a sense of courage. Realizing it was Corti, she began to breathe easier. Further to her comfort, she'd hear the shots of Brandt's gun and Arc's cannon fire. Though to her surprise, the latter shot was aimed at her attacker in front of her, splattering blood in her direction. She'd blink a couple of times in shock that the half-orc didn't even flinch.
Tarian's voice would ring out, calling for the brute's attention. "Right." Thia would mutter to herself, abandoning her handaxe and would reach into her leathers for another vile to coat her next shot. Groaning and pushing through the pain in her side, the artificer will take advantage of Tarian's distraction and take her shot at the frenzied attacker.
Tarian, your attack doesn't damage the attacker, but you sure got his attention!
Tarian's courage gets the better of her, and she leaps up onto the cart, and slaps the orc with all her strength square across the face, swearing to him in orcish. Whatever she said, it seems to have worked, and he turns to face her, which gives Thia enough space to retreat a couple of steps and prepare her crossbow. She fires, and as soon as the bolt sinks into the stitched-together hides, it erupts into flames, with the orc now all of a sudden very busy putting out the flames. After a couple of seconds, he manages to pat out the flames, but he looks badly singed and definitely hurt, but also all the angrier for it.
The joy of your small success is short lived however, as the human fighter in the strange armour steps to the doorway, with one of the hostages in front, his dagger at the hostage's throat: "Stop! If you want this sorry excuse of a man alive, lay down your arms now, or he gets it!" You all can't help but notice a strange accent.
The badly hurt scout up on the balcony is using the momentary distraction provided by her ally to move around the balcony, behind the curved wall and, as she reckons, out of the field of fire of whoever had been targeting her.
Brandt, as the others are momentarily freezing given the issued threat, and the Orc is patting out the flames on his armour, you see that you have a clean shot on the human in the doorway, but you also noticed something move at the right edge of the mill. What do you want to do?

Staggering from the impact, he lets go of the hostage, who falls flat on their front on the ground in front of the mill, quickly rolling to the side, trying to get out of the fire. Brandt, you're sure you hit the bandit, but you're unsure whether he's still alive, having falling back into the windmill.
The shot seems to break the spell on the others though, and the orc, though singed, still has his limited mind focussed on Tarian, who dared slap him. With a wide arc, he tries to bring his axe down on her head, but Tarian ducks and kicks his injured side, taking the strength from his swing.

Confused by the fact that his master has suddenly collapsed, the Blood Hawk flies hard at Corti, trying to peck at her exposed face, to little avail.
With the chaos on the battlefield now somewhat more ordered by Brandt and Arc's fire support and Corti's magic, you all hear the crack of a dry branch to the left, where a small goblin has been trying to sneak up on Brandt and Arc. Noticing that she's been discovered, she notches an arrow and lets fly, aiming it against Arc, and the arrow somehow finds its mark through all the trees. Arc, you shatter the arrow headed for you with your arcane shield, and draw up your cannon to fire at the charging goblin. The branch brings her to fall, but from the snarled teeth and angry expression getting up, it wasn't enough.
Thia aims her bolt and fires, the bolt punching through the hide armour just under the orc's right armpit. Like before, the bolt bursts into flames, but the orc does not pat out the flames- the bolt had pierced his lung or heart, and the now burning orc staggered, before falling over, the fire now spreading over his upper body filling the air with the awful smell of burning flesh.
His hand shattered and their plan in tatters, the human in the strange armour tries to follow his gnomish friend and makes a dash for the forest to the left of the mill, as fast as he can. Seeing her partner turn tail and run, the scout knocks two arrows and lets fly at the traitor, with the first striking him in the thigh, bringing him to fall. The second one strikes the ground nearby.

Tarian, you find the second hostage, hands bound and bag over his head, leaning against a wall and shivering in fear. There are drops of blood on the ground, likely from the bandit that had been shot by Brandt. Other than that, the place is a ruin, but you see that the upper floors served as living quarters to these bandits, and there might be some things found there that might shed a light on their activities. You run through a quick count: The scout on the balcony above you, wounded but still alive for now. The druid, manacled and unconscious; the orc, dead and burnt. The bandit in strange armour, fled and apparently down as well. The blood hawk more a nuisance than a threat, circling above. By all accounts that still left someone, either out in the forest, or in here, hiding someplace.
Just as you're going about a careful inspection of the place, you hear the shot from Arc's cannon booming through the forest, but you hear no impact above or outside- guess, that answers that question.

Arc keeps his cannon point at the goblin before walking over to her to tie her up with his rope. Once she's secured, he would mentally command his cannon to turn and fire at the balcony that the bandit was standing on, hoping to literally pull (or in this case destroy) the ground under her and nonlethaly knock her out.
Thia would make sure her crossbow was reloaded before she'd move from her position. She would approach the bandit that was shot by the scout with caution, ready to shoot him should he try to attack her in surprise. Should he prove to be down without posing a threat, the artificer will pull out her rope to restrain the bandit.
