Though the children are better this morning they are still very affected.
They try to recall what has happened but seem to be struggling with the details of the event.
From what you can gather a man came and asked for something. They were asleep so they didn't here the whole thing. He left several minutes later but their father came and woke them to bring them to safety. It was then that a huge dog barged into the house and their father told them to run to the shed and hide. …..
Klaus gets up after the few hours of sleep and approaches the group. "Might be best that we just get these children to Father Byron to some real safety and rest. Maybe once they have time to fully calm down it could clear their minds to remember more useful information."
Talon would rush towards Father Bryon, flapping his wings wildly to get his attention and pointing towards the young children. "Father, People were hurt... We saved the kids" He would squak as his wide eyes showed a mixture of fear and sadness.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I agree we should escort the children back to town, but just prior to leaving the farmhouse, can I make one more attempt to find some tracks of this man? I figure since we had a little rest and have daylight to help, we might have a better chance to find the tracks now? If I find them, I just want to mark the area in some way, so we can come back to them later.
Hoyle nods to Father Bryan as he heads to his father. "Hi dad, we are all fine. The poor children were trapped in a shed with a vicious dog-like beat outside. I winged him, but you should have seen the blow by Klaus that felled it. Sadly we were too late to save the rest." Hoyle's father, Wilemin responds "That must have been quite the little adventure. It is sad that those innocent folk were slain, but I am happy to see that you and your friends escaped in good shape and that you were able to save the children. Good job son!"
With that, Hoyle describes the beast to his father and asks if he has any idea what it might be. He also mentions that he did find some tracks leading off to the north. "I wonder where they are headed?"

Arric will walk up to his father and look down, not showing his face.
“I couldn’t help them. By the time we got there they had already passed. I couldn’t do anything.”
Quietly, so no one notices but his dad, Arric starts to silently cry over the deaths of these people he knew. They hadn’t been close friends, but Arric had known them, he’d helped the Norgor’s when they’d come in with bruises and scrapes just like everyone else. They were a good family, and they hadn’t deserved this. Jon seemed to understand what Arric was thinking and led him a bit away from the group until he had control over himself again. The only thing he did to show that he understood was to grip Arric’s shoulder and say, “Their burdens are lifted now, and the ones who remain must endure their loss. You must endure, to become better and help those you still can.”
The adults are relieved to see the youth come back and you can feel it. They are adjusting to you becoming men and women in your own rights.
The ordeal of the night is etched on your faces and while a large group brings you back to the village and your respective homes a smaller group lead by Bryon and the Dan Greylock go to the Norgor's house to see for themselves and take care of the burials.
As the party arrives into town a lot of folks are out to see how you have fared and of course to ask about the Norgor. Seeing the children they hush and shake their heads sadly. Cecilia Dreab rushes forward to gather the children and they give her a great hug upon seeing her. You can all see that their is a deep connection between them. Cecilia catches your eyes and nods her thanks. There are a few questions floating in those deep bleu eyes also. She gathers the children and goes back to her place.
Almost as a side note, you notice the Mayor and a beautiful lady talking before the Cups and Cauldron. She clearly is from the city and near her is a group of guards in red and gold livery lounging.
You all go to your respective family home but are asked to come to the Mayors house later, at the end of the afternoon, to talk before the council.
( Tell me if you wish to do anything before the reunion. You'll have time for a long rest before that.)
Joshua will suggest to the others that we all meet up before meeting the mayor to discuss if there is any information we should leave out, and also to make sure we all have the same knowledge if people haven't already said everything to each other
At home Talon would write down everything that happened and hand the letter to Father Bryon. It would explain in detail everything that had happened and what they went through. Father Bryon would be used to the Kenku writing long letters to explain things that might take a lot of work to mimic. Once Father Bryon has the note, the kenku would sit near the fire as his father read what had happened. His white feathers would shine yellow as the reflections of the flames dance across his face and black beak. Talong would hold his holy artifact in his hand, turning it over and examining it closley like he has done a thousand times... "Sorry... for worrying you" The kenku would say in the voice of Father Bryon, once his dad was done reading his letter.
Klaus agrees with Joshua "Perhaps an hour before are meeting with the mayor we meet up outside The Twin Doves and we will discuss exactly what we want to say to the mayor?" and after receiving an answer from everyone, Klaus will head home and after describing what he had experienced in detail to his father and older brother Jared, would head off to get some additional much needed rest. Laying there in his bed, the sight of the vicious dog creature, the battle, and the mighty blow it dealt him dropping him to his knee, replays over and over in his head for quite some time. He tried to hide it from his father and brother but he doubts he was able to, for today marked the first day that Klaus would come face to face with the true fear of a life and death situation. He was taught to have a stoic presence, to be the shield for those he cared about, but nothing in life could ever prepare him for that first blow from someone or something, that was dealt with only one intention, to end his life. An hour or two later Klaus with both effort and sheer exhaustion, is able to put these thoughts to rest so he himself can get a much required rest, for the mayor wishes to see him and his friends, so the days events would not seem over yet...
Hoyle also agrees with Joshua and Klaus on meeting beforehand. Then he heads home with his father and goes into all the details with him on their walk home, not wanting the rest of his family to hear some of the details. He will enjoy a hearty meal and a good nap at home, while contemplating on the happenings on their first adventure, trying to figure out what he could improve on as he doses off.
"The Twin Doves it is!" says Tait before heading home. After his ordeal last night he is allowed to rest instead of tend to chores after of course telling the story of what they found at the farm to his grandfather and mother.
Tait will plan on meeting everyone at the Twin Doves before meeting with the mayor.
After resting and spending some time making food and eating it with Father Bryon, Talon would meet up with his friends at The Twin Doves. He would make sure to have all of his equipment with him as he made the simple journey across town. The happy go lucky kenku was twitchier than normal... but instead of it being due to excitement, it was paranoia as he continued to watch over his shoulders and jump at every sound as he made is way to his friends.
Arric will nod distractedly at the meeting time before heading home. He spends a good amount of time praying for the dead and the children, cleans his weapons and armor, and then heads to bed for a fitful sleep. Feeling uncomfortable without it right now, Arric will put on his armor to go to the meet up, and head towards the Twin Doves.

"I agree. We should get the children to safety and then come back and see if we can find anything useful about this man and the beasts, "says Tait.
The party gathers and leaves the farmhouse.
For two hours you treck toward home and just before you arrive to the village you see a group of men coming your way.
Father will Bryon leads them and you can all glimpse at one of your parent in the mixed.
(don't hesitate to narrate the meeting)
"Oh boy this is either going to go really well or really bad. We did a good thing right boys? I sure hope my father sees it that way..."
Talon would rush towards Father Bryon, flapping his wings wildly to get his attention and pointing towards the young children. "Father, People were hurt... We saved the kids" He would squak as his wide eyes showed a mixture of fear and sadness.

Survival: 13
Joshua will run and hug his parents, he won't say anything, his eyes show how he is feeling. (Sad, freightened but determined)

Sure.
The area as been trampled very throughly but Hoyle manages to find a few suspicious tracks leading north.
They are foot prints and next to it are rather large paw prints.
Hoyle nods to Father Bryan as he heads to his father. "Hi dad, we are all fine. The poor children were trapped in a shed with a vicious dog-like beat outside.
