Jackobi wanders around in the water a bit but doesn't like it.....it smells horrible and he comes back and pecks at Flint for sending him in to it.

You're not quite sure but Jackobi looks a bit green around the gills

"Nobody can... I don't know, purify the water or anything?" Iroona asks hopefully.

Slate

"I could destroy some of the water, a couple times" Slate says shrugging

"Stop, Jackobi. Learn your place, already!" Ren will look over the bird and see that he doesn't look well. "Um, I don't think that water is too safe. Be careful!"

"If someone can reach with something long to open the door, I can throw some light in there..." Iroona finds a chunk of rock and lights it up. then throws it in the room, after someone opens the door with a stick or a staff or something.

The door is already halfway open

OOC > Yeah, and she can (probably) throw the rock through a half-open door... :)

the rock soars gracefully through the darkness, skims between the door and door frame, skips off the water surface a few times and then sinks in to the murky depths where you can no longer see it.

Iroona:

Jackobi watches intently as Iroona tosses the rock in to the water and the axe beak chases off after it, splashing through the water where it plunges it's head underwater and plucks the rock up and brings it back to her and waits for her to throw it again.

"Oh, well. Um." She picks up the brightly lit rock and throws it in again, trying for more distance this time.

"I believe in...," Flint's voice trails off as he watches the dumb axe beak give chase to the shiny rock again.

Slate

"Well if that bird can handle it, then I should be able to" Slate says as she makes her way down into the water

Once again majestically like an eagle through the Rockies - the lit stone soars in to the great beyond, skipping a few times before disappearing again....then like a drunken labradoodle at a cake party the axe beak takes off after it splashing water everywhere but this time can't find it.
