Well, now you know. My teachers told us that magic is like your muscles. The more you exercise and do, the stronger you become. I'm close to working a few basic spells beyond my limited healing abilities. I'm hopeful that my prayers and devotion pays off soon.
If there is 1 thing my apprentice tought me its that even when you think you understand magic you know nothing... this is way i carried on his teachings this is why i keep trying to expand my knowledge... he devoted his life to this and now in his name i will carry on and attempt to learn the wonders of what the magic world has in store to teach me.
Talien will then show Meepo how to care for the weapon and also teach him more about safety. Once this is completed he will check all of the entrances/exits for any signs of enemies. and possible fortification/alarm options. (Reinforcing a door with a bar)(setting out string and bells)

If not, Talien will not give Meepo the scimitar, only the shield. He will show him also how to hold the shield to better protect himself in the future.

You retract your steps to the south through the infested cells and return to the wooden door in the western wall with Meepo guiding the way. You find the door unlocked and open it to find a dark, empty room that lights up as Rees and Ungrim enter with the light stick. This empty chamber appears to be home only to rat droppings, crumbled flagstone, dust and stains.
