OOC - if we beat the wizard/druid/whatever, we can let them out on our way out. If we don't beat him, then we've got bigger problems, like being dead, captured, enslaved, whatever.

Talien sets Grom down before proceeding to the door. He draws his sword and stands against it. He pulls caltrops and ball bearings out of his pack and sets them down (each in their own bags, he does not scatter them) down beside him. He slowly leans against the door and waits, listening to the room on the other side for noise.

You hear a soft thrumming. The soft glowing light trickles from under the door causing odd shadows around your legs.
Anybody see anything that we can block or wedge that eastern door shut with? If not, we should deal with whatever is in there first. I don't like leaving potential hostiles at my back if I can help it.

Realistically it’s only been a few minutes in game time. Welcome to RP how you guys would like to spend the hour.
If we have to attack whatever's in the eastern room, should we try to entice it out? Shake and Rees on either side of the door to surprise whatever comes out. Talien and I open the door, step in and try to lure it/them out? Maybe have Grom waiting on the far western wall to try and blast them when they come thru?

The room appears to have once been an arboretum judging by several growths in the chamber which are now scorched and dead. Glowing holes pock the floor of this room much like the room in which you found the fire snake previously. Nothing living appears to be on the inside... but Ungrim does feel the warmth of the glowing holes upon his feathers...
After the hour is up, let's send Ungrim in the room where there is noise to get a scouting report so we can figure out how to deal with whatever is in there.

Ooc: So if we leave the goblins locked up and nobody comes to let them out then they will only die of dehydration. Got it. Thanks Fen 👍

OOC - based on the earlier discussion, I'm assuming it is too early to go for the long rest. I assume we need to push on a bit farther.

Opening the northern door then?
Has it been an hour yet?

Is there a lock on the door that Rees can try to mess with so it won't open?

Talien will spend his hour in silence as if frozen, unless something disturbs the door/party member approaches

No.. just an iron ring on this one.

From will walk over to the door in question...
Peeking thru the crack
Grom snaps his fingers and will have ungrim appear in the hall and send him into the area to see what's there
