"Thank you for retrieving my hammer, Talien," Arxius says before moving to look at the door again. "Meepo read it as 'rebuke the dead, open the way'. How are we meant to rebuke the dead?"
Shake stands up straighter and clears his throat before reciting, “Woe, destruction, ruin, and decay; the worst is death and death will have his day.” Then he stands by expectantly.
Thinking back to your childhood and time spent training as a paladin you remember another order visited you seeking food and shelter for a few days. This order was just passing through your town, but they were seeking out jobs related to monsters, spirits, and the undead. You remember they told tales of some of their past deeds including the use of magic that caused the undead to momentarily flee from them, so that they could cut them down more easily and avoid the bite of death.
Fine with me. I’m ready to finish up and get out of here. Feels like we’re pushing our luck. Maybe you can convince Corky to come down here and open it up since we did rescue her.
I say save it until we know if we need something for the southern area.
Alten hears Eldensar's leathery voice say in a rather bored manner, "It is unlikely the hammer is behind that door Alten.. It looks to me like a tomb.. likely for those who built this place. I grow tired of this hammer venture... it is not objects that make a person, it is their experiences and we are experiencing naught in this fruitless pursuit."
I agree, but Talien seems fixated. Maybe it is a limitation of being a machine?
Out loud: Eldensar says that it looks like a tomb and it is unlikely a stolen hammer would be in there. Talien, he also points out that it is experiences and not objects that are important.

"Talien is a machine indeed.. interesting that he thinks goblin's could open this door when none of your member can... at least this is something to ponder."
I don't understand how a machine can walk and talk like that. But there are plenty of things I don't understand. I guess the gods have a purpose for it.

Talien tries to open the door with his brute strength. Meepos words mean nothing to Talien.

That sounds more like acceptance than rebuking.

The door won't budge despite you're mighty pulling and pushing.

Experienced, powerful Clerics and Paladins can have an ability to "rebuke" undead. I don't have the ability currently.
