Shake shakes his head and then yells back, "Well, I should probably let you take care of that before I crowd into the tunnel after you. Could you do a humble bard a favor and throw out a running commentary. I'm sure it will make a great story."

Doesn't look like the Crit on the first attack didn't apply the crit damage either (unless I missed something)
No, looks like they were individual rolls, so it wouldn't have applied. All 3 hit for 17 damage!

Rees looks a little tougher somehow after a burst of pale purple energy flashes from her hands.
Talien's new weapon connects, but the scimitar misses. Alten swings into the coffin then is engulfed in a pale blue light of his own making.

The deathlock's twisted mouth opens and releases a torrent of foul raspy arcane words. A barely audible cacophony of soft whispers and slurping noises begins as a magical darkness begins to spread forth from the coffin. The whispers grow louder and the darkness spreads to a 20' radius centered around the coffin. The deathlock lets out an evil laugh.
It has cast hunger of hadar. No light, magical or otherwise, can illuminate the area, and creatures fully within the area are blinded. Additionally, any creature that starts its turn in the area takes 2d6 cold damage. Any creature that ends its turn in the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 acid damage as milky, otherworldly tentacles rub against it.
DM Note: If you're starting your turn with 20' of the coffin please roll your 2d6 to save time. Do the same if you are ending your turn within 20' of the coffin.
Shake crawls as far down the tunnel towards the fights as he can while yelling all the way. "I cannot believe I am doing this. I must have lost my mind. I must really like you guys. Hey what's going on in there? Don't keep a bard in limbo."
Shake is still on the other side of the tunnel. When he hears Alten yell he yells back, "Is everything alright in there, buddy?"

If he’s sitting upon the coffin, he was prone. He hasn’t stood up yet, so is he still prone? ADV for melee attacks and DIS for ranged?
