Alright Talien, let's check out the temple first. I don't know if she has separate housing or rooms connected to the temple. I doubt Ruik will be at his shop this time of night, but we might get lucky and run into one or both of them celebrating.

Those headed to the temple leave the Ol' Boar in and take an immediate left to follow the road that loops around the side of the tavern and towards the town shrine. You arrive after only a short walk to find a small chapel with deep red and gold banners hanging on each side of a large set of wooden doors. A metal plate nailed to the front of the wooden doors reads:
Be ever vigilant for evil. People are quick to forget the lessons of the past.
Help relieve the suffering of the innocent.
Deliver the light of Pelor where darkness dwells, with kindness, compassion, and mercy.
You knock on the door using the large knocker and after a few minutes it is answered by a small gnomish woman. The woman who you know as "Corkie" is wearing a set of clean manila robes with a mace strapped to her hip. She smiles and says, "Ah, hello all! Glad ye made it back! Welcome to my temple.. please come in!"
Thank you. Good evening Corkie. We've returned from our job. I wanted check on you and to see what happened when you got back?
"Well, for starters my office was an absolute mess! My desk has been riffled through, papers thrown about, books tossed off the shelf.. took me hours to put it back together. But, there wasn't anybody here to peg for the crime. Chapel was all but empty.. curious really after what you told me in the Citadel about someone potentially impersonating me. I asked around sure enough I was seen here when I was stuck in the Citadel, but I can't make heads or tales of what happened here... nothing was stolen except an old lore book I had with stories about local legends in the North... who would want that? I mean there's very few copies, but still.. it's not worth much."
Welp, if the doppleganger stole the book, it must mean it's important. Knowing more about what the book contained might be helpful.
"It was literally a book of tales.. you know like the kind you read to children.. it was given to me by my father and he had it from his childhood. I mean I haven't seen any other copies, but I didn't think it was exactly rare or extraordinary."
"Well it's hard to remember them all verbatim of course, but the tale of the Sunforger goes somewhat like this..."
The dwarves were besieged by the orcs...
...they needed a weapon powerful enough to drive back the vicious hoard or they would surely all perish...
It was imbued with all the magic the weavers had left...
They say it grants the bearer added advantage when attacking!
In the final hour, at the last gate, the weapon was thrown directly at the Orc warlord and in an explosion of fire saved the dwarves from utter annihilation!
[She tells you a cool story! Sorry all don't have time to make one up atm, lol].
That's interesting, but I don't know that it really means anything. Oh well.
I mostly was curious if your doppleganger had been captured and wanted to make sure you were OK. Since my curiosity has been satisfied, I'll leave you to your evening. Thank you again for your help in the Citadel Corkie. Good luck and may Torm protect you.
(OOC - does anyone remember if Corkie was with us when we learned the name "Iron Hand"?)

"I would like to join you to see Corky, ensure she returned unharmed," Arxius says, getting up from the table to join them. "Rees will you join me?"
Arxius, Elven Simic Hybrid Ranger in Tales from the Yawning Portal
Talien puts up his tools and shield and moves to follow Alten, Arxius, and Rees (provided she joins).
Warforged Fighter Talien
Alten shrugs
Sure. The more, the merrier.

Grom will leave a tip on the table and follow the group out the door.

"Thanks!" Garon calls out as he tiredly begins cleaning.

Do you happen to know what those northern legends we're about?
"Fiction is the lie through which we tell the truth." A Camus
"Did those legends included Dwarven ones?"
Grombrindal "The White Dwarf" (Dwarf - Wizard) - Fenris_Worldsbane's Tales from the Yawning Portal

"Odd, yes to both of those questions... there's the tale of the Wyrmskull throne, story of Auril, and the story of the Sunforger. Why do you ask?"
Alten looks over at Grom , raises an eyebrow, and gives a questioning, half shrug
