Garon cleans the bar downstairs periodically stopping his work to look up at the ceiling and shake his head disapprovingly. He sighs deeply and continues on tired as he is.
Grom would have attempted to find another shop that might be open or some kind gentleman he could get some more pipeweed off of, and he will find a bench outside and just smoke and read and study on this new found way to write spells and keep practicing on this Animated Quill :)

[All the shops are closed for the festival. Search function isn't working for me today, but I think you got some from Kerowyn anyway].
Alright Talien, let’s see if we run across the blacksmith. What are the rest of you doing?
The blacksmith is still drinking at the square where Talien first encountered him... he now seems quite drunk and in no shape to talk shop tonight, but he says you can use the forge if you wish. The rest of the party yawns and decides to turn in for the night.
Talien wordlessly leave the party and heads toward the forge.
He will start the forging process for a set of daggers.
You work through the night endlessly raising and dropping your arm working out the length of the two blades. The morning comes and you have their rough shaped hammered out. They will still require some more work, but you think you can sharpen them up and craft a pair of handles on the road.
The rest of you awake and go downstairs to find Garon bustling about and setting up a breakfast buffet of sorts. There's bacon, ham, eggs, toasted bread, honey, and some fresh berries and cream spread across the length of one of the tables. You find the food is quite fresh and enjoyable and savor it knowing it will probably the best food you have for awhile as you head to the frozen north.
Outside the town is mostly quite. There is some debris leftover from the night before including some sleeping people, halfings, and dwarves. They look like they had a great time and must feel safe now that the Sunless Citadel and the monstrous twig blights have been taken care of.
You discuss traveling options on the way to the General Store to speak with Kerowyn to collect your bounty, supplies, and hopefully some horses...
I’m not a huge fan of horses. Fickle, nasty beasts in my experience. But if speed is an issue, I guess we’ll need some.
Sometimes, when speed is needed, members of my uncle’s order take two horses per person to alternate. I guess a single horse without a loaded rider can keep pace without too much stress.
If speed is a priority, then I don’t think we’ll want to bother with a wagon, tents, and such. And we may want to just make a cross country journey through the Crag lands for the most direct route. Though that will probably be more dangerous.
I guess that would be my vote - to move light and fast in a straight line to Mirabar through the Crags. Pack a couple of extra horses with rations and loot and that we can’t sell here.
"I've heard about people who can use magic to just.... appear in another place. I guess none of us can do that though?" Rees asked, looking around hopefully while tucking some leftover bread and bacon into her pockets. As though anyone would have failed to mention that thus far. "No? Okay.... horses it is."

I don't think he's in any position to give lessons Talien. If I were you, I would consider letting Grom get you lessons from some Dwarven masters.
I'm heading back and going to get some sleep.

Grom still needs to collect his payment first, right? Then we’ll see if we can find enough horses for sale.
