Chazrael laughs as the trio comes toward them. "Surely you three realize I am talking about the old Xanathar. I mean the current Xanathar leader is taking the organization into new heights, so I've heard."

"Perhaps you gentlemen would like to talk over drinks or something like that."

The dwarf shrugs and smiles his cruel smile. 

" Yes, sure lead the way."

 Depending on the reaction you can keep the rolled init. Those under the first one reacting will be surprised and those over will not. 

Shan whispers to everyone else near him (besides Chaz), "We don't have time for this. Perhaps we should just take matters into our own hands?"

Shan approaches Chaz and the group. He first gives Chaz a look and then says to the goon, "Unfortunately, we really don't have time for drinks at the moment. We'd actually like to ask you a few questions." He then puts his hand on his mace menacingly. "One way or another."

Kriz is about to say something but she shares Shan point of view about speed things so she keeps behind the scene trying to keep an eye open in case someone else approaches or takes more interest than usual on them.

She feels bad, though, for the man looked pretty trustful to her despite his manners.

Shan moves forward to confront the dwarf and his goons. Though taken aback by the bluntness of the man's reaction the dwarf bristles at being taken to like that in front of his friends. Seeing that others are moving to back Shan's words he relents throwing his hands up in surrender. 

"Ok, but your friend wasn't the brightest coming to us with those words." 

He let's the other two humans go back to their posts. 

"You made me look bad, boy." he says with a rueful smile, his face changing considerably. " Maybe we can do something for each other... I need to get out of this life." 

OOC: For those not with the dwarf. Tell me where you are.

(OOC: Wait, I'm confused. What woman are we talking about now? If you're referring to Shandalar, he's male. And I thought Chaz was a guy too?)

Shan isn't sure what to think of the dwarf's reaction at first.

He responds to the dwarf, "If there's truth to what you say, we need to know what's going on in there. There's a missing girl and a missing egg and we need to find both as soon as possible. Can you help us? If so, we'll see what we can do for getting you out of this mess."

Chazrael stands there and nods, keeping a hand on his short sword.

The dwarf smiles as an idea cross his mind. 

" Ok, I'll let you in the house where the girl is then telling you where the eggs are hidden but you need to help me get out of town after. And tell me where to hide afterward. " 

Xana has been hanging back, keeping an eye on the building, particularly any doors or windows anyone might be peeping out of. Perception: 22

"We'll do what we can.You can go to the Golden Fields or even as north as Neverwinter" says Kriz to the dwarf. She still feels bad about him. " But please tell us where the girl and the eggs are. "

Xana sees on the top window, front side, a figure looking down on the street. The elf, maybe a dark elf, has a crossbow in hand.

The dwarf nods at Kriz understanding the implication and the time factor. 

"The girl is in the house. Top floor. The eggs are in another place but the only way I know how to get in is through the tunnels under the house."

The dwarf gets angry and shouts about leaving him alone ... Everyone looks at your group. 

In between shouts he whispers ...." Make it look good."
