The Baron takes a purple silk cloth from his pocket and begins cleaning his blade, but upon hearing you mention the Vistani he stops. His eyes look as if they are burning with rage above a twisted, clinched grin. "The... Vistani you say?" He is holding his knife so tight you can see his knuckles turn white. His voice begins to raise, "LET ME TELL YOU WHAT TO DO WITH THE VISTA..." The Baroness cuts him off, her voice actually somewhat mild and calming, "Dear, remember, such anger is bad for your health." The Baron shoots eye-daggers at her, then back at you, until he finally takes a deep breath and recomposes himself. "Okay, I'm okay, deep breaths... Let me make you a deal. There is a camp of those vermin outside of town, if you can find some way to dispatch them, then a handsome reward will be waiting for you. Just know that if they corrupt you, and you become sympathetic to their cause, I will have no qualms about putting your heads on a stake."

Unastear whispers to the rest of the party, "What's are thoughts on this guy? It seems like his wife might be a more adept leader than him. Anyone agree?"
He also looks at the Baroness, seeing if she is just following the Baron, or is capable of acting on her own.
Joetaro nods. "I would agree. I feel like this Baron has not left his castle in a long time. I will say this up front, I am not going to get rid of the Vistani. If he can't help us, I say we leave, or hopefully his wife can throw him back inside."

"Should I try to speak with her? Kind of get a sense about her? She would be next in line o be in charge if … something happened … to the Baron, right?"
The Baron points you in a direction, and tells you that you can follow a footpath out of town and that the Vistani have set up a camp outside of town. You follow his directions and eventually leave the city walls. You follow the small, muddy path through a small patch of trees. The woods part to reveal an expansive clearing: a small, grass-covered hill with low houses built into its sides. Fog obscures the details, but you can see that these buildings feature elegantly carved woodwork and have decorative lanterns hanging from their sculpted eaves. Atop the hill, above the fog, is a ring of barrel-topped wagons that surround a large tent with a column of smoke pouring out through a hole in the top. The tent is brightly lit from within. Even at this distance, you can smell the odors of wine and horses that emanate from this central area.
Joetaro nods and turns to Ander. "They may have a fortune teller or someone in their midst who can guide us. Perhaps they may have information on the baron that we don't kno. Perhaps it is the Wizard of Wines we need to find."

"Maybe they are missing a child and know where we might find it. Or maybe the child itself is not missing, but is in the camp. It could have used to be in that crazy town but went missing to become a Vistani"
As you approach you hear the soft murmur of campfire tales and cheerful applause. The smell of wine and food mingle to create an inviting aroma, but as soon as you are close enough to begin to make out facial features, an arrow falls from the sky and lands at your feet. It has bright red feathers and is carved down the shaft with an intricate design. You see a small figure step from behind a wagon and yell out, "Give us yer names and state yer business or the next 'un won't miss!"
Joetaro eyes the arrow at his feet and smiles at the figure. "I am Joetaro Jorildyn and these are my companions Ander, Glimra and Uanstaer. We have come seeking information about a missing child that will lead us to something to defeat the devil - " he stops, not wanting to upset the folks by saying Strahd's name. He continues," The baron pointed us in your direction, though he asked us to wipe you out, though that's not what we are here for. He was no help to us, so we've come here."

"I'm Ander, these are my companions, Glimra, Uanstaer and Joetaro. Madame Eva and Standinir sent us this direction. Something about a missing child." Ander will bend down and pick up the arrow and hold it out towards the figure.
(Damn, just beaten)
"We were told that this would be a good place to start by Standinir, after Madame Eva gave us a prophecy"
" What they said. Though if yer gonna fire again please put it through me, these other three will squeal too much and no one'll get any rest.", she grinned.

Ander starts to walk away. "I don't think this town has anything for us. And I have a feeling that smiling won't help"

Glimra glowered, " My thoughts? He needs a taste of his own medicine....."
" Agreed Ander. Lets ask the Vistani here at least if they know about the child but this place is a mad house...."
Joetaro nods and starts to follow Ander. "I'm sure the Vistani will have plenty of information and they won't be half as crude about it."

"So, if the first camp had Madam Eva, do you think this camp will habe their own fortune teller or something of that nature?"
Joetaro is going to continue toward the tent with his hand on his sword pommel. "The sweet smell of wine, I'm sure these folks are friendly."

Unastear looks up at Glimra and winks, "Come on ya big softy." He then turns to the guard, "Is your camp missing any children?"
