“Well, it would seem that I have indeed underestimated them, my master. Perhaps, I shall take your advice with greater understanding in the future. If you would.” He sits down and, in an instant, vanishes.
Imani stares, nonplussed, at the spot where the giant disappeared. She nods once, considering, then stands and dusts herself off. She hobbles over to her rook and, securing it to her necklace once again, looks up to see that the others are being healed by Sarai's sparrows. Looking around, she notices for the first time that they're no longer by her side. She smirks and, drawing power from her bracelets, opens one last door in the air to rejoin her new "friends".
When Imani reappears in their midst, Sarai will call forth her own personal flock of ghostly sparrows to soothe her wounds. They hang around her for the next minute.
Casting Healing Spirit but with a second level slot. Imani is healed 32 hit points.

Caster summarily returns as well, alighting on the ground and dismissing his investiture of wind. “Those spirits are something,” he says to Sarai. “I was certainly taken off guard by how hard Nimrod could it, and it’s a pity how solidly we beat him only to have him escape. Now he can plan for any future matches.”

"Yeah, well, so can we. They might have learned that we're together, but other than seeing some fireworks I doubt they learned much about the two of you." She glances down at the Assassin and resists the urge to move a stray wisp of hair out of her face. "Can't say that I learned much about you, either. Let's get to a hotel and regroup, like Sarai said. Caster, if Oz can show you someplace halfway decent on his phone, would you be able to take us there?"
For a moment, the poised young woman you met at Clock Tower shines through. But then Imani remembers the miles of empty desert surrounding her and she becomes unsure of herself once again. Need to get into the city... she thinks absently.
Warbeak spares Caster a glance as he reappears and assesses her healing spirits. "There is magic in the soul of all things, as you know." Then she turns her yellow eyes on Oz, sitting on the ground. "The boy is not wrong. We have erred gravely in this battle. We have given them too much, and taken only a little. We need to get off this battlefield and to safety."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Oz thrusts an open hand at Sarai as if to say "There you go. I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets it." He rocks back and forth a couple times to build momentum and heaves himself off the ground.
(Oz) rocks back and forth a couple times to build momentum and heaves himself off the ground.
Imani offers a hand to her full-figured companion and brings him to his feet. "Let's find a place to work this out, Oz. Can you Yelp a hotel that will have the setup that you need?" She rubs her upper arms and looks out at the endless desert. "Maybe someplace close to downtown?"
With Sarai’s roll of a Survival Check of 20, she can navigate you all to a place by the name of the JC Hotel and Spa. It is a fine and upstanding looking hotel, as it should be with such a name. The rooms will cost about 15 gp per night, but you will be fully supplied with a safe(?) place to sleep, breakfast, and a (if desired) high vantage point to look out on the city.
"It will do for you lot, while I see about a safer spot," Warbeak says. "Can you take us there?" she asks Caster. She is unbuckling her sword and stowing her gear, cloak, goggles, sword, etc. and with a flutter, she converts back into her human form.
"We need to get off the streets."

“Gather in close,” says Caster, as magical beams begin to glisten on the ground around him in a circle. “I will bring us to the lobby of the hotel in one piece.”
The soft white light builds around you all, just as you hear the noises of some commotion from inside the city, it would seem that the battle has woken some very concerned people up. With a flash, you all vanish as Caster’s spell folds two-points of the world together. In a blink, you are in the outside foyer of the JC Hotel and Spa... specifically the uptown location on the opposite side of the city you desired. How lucky indeed. As expected of Caster!
Sarai, in human form, sees the crew to their room, then departs. "I have business to take care of. This is my number, if you need me, though I may have to call you back. You each give me yours, too. I will look for more information on the other Masters and Servants, and see what I can find for a more permanent base. I should be back sometime tomorrow. Get some sleep, if you can."
Then she will leave. Unless anyone has objection or conversation to make.

Imani, in the form of a quiet and very well-dressed older gentleman with a manicured salt-and-pepper beard, nods her thanks to the bird person.
Once settled in their suite, Imani opens her bedroom's window drapes wide to better take in the city around her. She's never been here before (hell, she's never been outside of the Midwest before), but still... The City is here, and however strange that looming power may be to her, there's no denying that The City feels like home.
She unpacks her things and begins getting ready for bed. She nearly DIED an hour ago, and it's only a matter of time before that sinks in fully; she'd rather be asleep before it does. The assassin is here-hidden but nearby. She entrusts her life to the strange little girl and lies down to dream one of THOSE dreams...
Oscar programs a new spell into his phone before eating his champion meal, Summit Condensation and Yumritos. He plays Confederation of Myths on his laptop long into the night before passing out.
Caster, his part, fades into the ethereal and rests not far from where Oz is. “If you have need of me, simply speak the word,” he tells his Master, before entering a meditative trance.
