You catch a surname on Ruby’s cage, ‘Baz.’

Wha... sh*t. She mentions it to the others once they are in the car. “Related to Amani Baz, possibly.”  She looks at her perhaps-less-reliable gun for a moment. 

"Should we not rest...? I'm tired..." Dream yawns.

(We did have a long rest before this, at the hotel room, it is now late in the day, perhaps evening.)

Indeed. Much has been revealed, yet the night is young. What’s the plan as of now?

Sarai (in human form) wraps the rifle up in the duffel she brought for the purpose. “Let us see about the spoils of victory. Father Popov should have your command seals.” If there is no objection, she will leads the crew to Popov’s church. 

(No objection here!)

Imani wraps herself in an approximation of what she imagines Popov would look like as they walk along.

"Now then, my children- I see that you've murdered the people I wanted murdered. Very nicely done. Hmm? What's that? Yes, all in keeping with the tenets of my faith. Now, let's add these fire flowers or whatever to your inventory so you can kill some more people, yes?"

Sarai is able to lead the group to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The church, which Sarai reminds you is closed for the day under the cover of ‘repairs.’ The church stands as a quiet, serene place in the city of bustling Jerusalem. Amid its stone walls and quiet gardens, Sarai leads you to a flowery pavilion where Popov resides. Sarai, you notice that Popov has not moved from his seat since you saw him this morning. He has read through roughly half of his Bible and has several empty cups of tea next to him. As Sarai discovered, Father Alexi Popov, a member of the Church and hailing from Russia, is a tall, intimidating, mountain of a man (no Archer mind you, but still). However, from what the sparrows told her, he is a gentle, but intense man. He is very much a less murderous looking Ivan Drago wearing priest attire.

His eyes glance up from his text as he sets his tea down and closes the book, “Sarai, how nice to see you once more. And I presume that these are the two Masters of the war, yes?”

Human form Sarai nods and steps aside. "These are they. Be nice to them."

Father Popov chuckles to himself and gestures for Oz and Imani to sit, “The Holy Church appreciates your... assistance in this unsightly matter. Measures are being taken to ensure that the world never knows of this incident.”

Imani (who dropped her disguise before entering the building) leans against her chair instead.

"I'm sure. There are things to discuss, but before we go any further, I believe we are due our seals." She looks to Oz (newly baptized adult), crosses her arms, and waits.

Oz flips a pair of sunglasses down (at night, indoors) and also crosses his arms, “Yeah, what she said.”

Father Popov nods at that, “Indeed. Proper payment for a job well done.” He pulls back one of his sleeves to reveal dozens of command seals going up the length of his arm in an intricate design. Sarai notices that one of the seals has faded, much like when Imani used her seal. He will extend his hand to Imani and, assuming that she takes it, grips her own tightly. As he does, Imani’s arm feels hot as a command seal fades from his and appears on Imani’s hand once more.

He does the same with Oz as well.

Sarai interjects, after the transfer, “Why is Amani Baz a Master in this war?”

Popov raises a brow, “Why? Hard to say. Why is anyone a member in this war? One would assume a wish, no? Do not misunderstand, Sarai. I do know of the members of this war, yet I do not know them.“

Sarai nods once. "I do not know what you know unless I ask, Father."

“A fair enough statement. However,” He sits down once more, “Do not mistake my impartiality for allegiance. If I were to tell the others of your desires and histories, then I would be a poor judge, now wouldn’t I? I cannot do so for you either.”

"I wish only to make my decisions with the most information, Father, that I can own the consequences." Human Sarai has a disturbing tendency to not blink. "But I understand your point of view, of course."

Caster remains invisible, and has spent much of the evening characteristically quiet. The others may have heard a sharp intake of breath when Popov revealed all of his command seals, but otherwise Caster is unseen and unheard.

Imani snorts. "Impartial my ass. You've offered and delivered payment for services rendered to one portion of an interested party over another. You don't care about fairness- you just aren't sure that we're the winning team and you'd rather not dig yourself in too deep."

She stretches her arms overhead. "I haven't gone to confession for a year, but I'll tell you this, father: you move against us, and I'll remember it when I have my hands on that stupid cup."

Popov raises an eyebrow at that, “Is that so? I fail to see how I have betrayed the integrity of my position. A competitor broke the rules, a reward was offered to the people who stand a chance of stopping it with the least collateral damage. Or perhaps you would prefer for this to devolve into chaos. Are you familiar with the phrase, ‘Do not bite the hand that feeds you?’ rather, ‘Do not call out the man who just reimbursed the command seals that you spent.’ The fact of the matter is that the Church does not care who wins. Another war, another false holy grail. However, we desire the least damage possible. A goal that Sarai and her organization have gracious reciprocated.”
