Vishal will continue to cast Aid on the same three people every day. During the night before they reach the border he'll send an update to the Trailblazer and the Captain.
Kaori will continue to try and keep her armour quiet every day as they walk, and praying while holding her sword every time they camp. She's not her usual, chipper self, but if asked about it she just chirps softly and shrugs.
Akuma will keep a careful eye out as the group travels, taking interest to watching Siepha's training but otherwise remaining quiet for the rest of the journey unless given a reason otherwise.

Over the next couple days, Siepha seems to slowly build in confidence and energy. By the time the flat Tundra comes into view, she's relaxed enough to talk to anyone who does so without trailing off or mumbling every other word. The border of the Tundra is denoted by a line of snowstorms and icy formations that are almost terrifyingly straight. As you cross it, you enter a snowy plain, broken only by massive rock formations hundreds of feet wide and dozens of feet tall.
Taran can't help but feel a thrill spark through him as he stares out across the Tundra landscape. For the first time since this mission started he, instead of worrying about Siepha or Riedra, just marvels at setting foot in the most Northern reaches of the continent.
Vishal doesn’t waste any time pulling out his chakram and casting a spell at the area, hoping to light up whatever is trying to sneak up on them. “I suggest you come out into the open, now.” He says as the rock, and possibly more, lights up.

Vishal's spell doesn't take hold on anything but the rock, but there's a shimmer in the air, and suddenly a grey-skinned dwarf with white hair is standing in front of the rock pile, a shimmering white spectral blade in her right hand. Red tattoos make their way down her face and neck, and she wears black armor with dark red designs on its surface. "And I suggest you cool it on the spells and put the steel wheel away, shiny boy. Unless you feel like being filled with arrows. We don't like southerners up here, especially not ones who look a lot like a squad of water soldiers."
“We’re the exact opposite of those. We’re part of the Summit Road. And currently we’re running away from the Inspired and water soldiers. Been on the chase for at least a week. So a little jumpy if you’ll excuse me.” Vishal replies putting his weapon away.
"Never heard of the Summit Road." The woman taps the tip of her spectral blade against the rock. "Or Slopeseer Carou, though I know what a slopeseer is. So the yetis sent you up here? Why're Inspired on your tails?"
"We basically stand for everything that they hate. We oppose them at every corner. And we've become particularly annoying to them. Doesn't help that I'm a Kalashtar." Vishal says with a cocky grin.
"W-W-We a-a-are e-enemies o-of th-the In-Inspired," Taran says, eyes scanning the horizon in case he can spot the other figures in wait for them, "Th-They've h-h-hunted u-us b-before f-f-for st-stopping th-there p-plans, am-among o-other th-things. I-It s-s-seems th-th-they w-were l-l-luring u-us i-into a tr-trap th-this time, th-though. H-Hoping t-t-to c-capture us."
Taran sees no other figures on the horizon or anywhere else in view.
The duergar smirks. "Kalashtar. Big deal, sparkly eyes. Guessing that means you're from Adar?" Her eyes flick across the rest of you. "You're right, we're Akiak. Welcome to the Tundra, southerners. You're a long way from home, what were you doing so far north that we were closer than your nice, safe mountains?"
"Hmmm...sorry, but no," the duergar replies with a shrug. "You two may have me convinced that you're not water soldiers, but your four friends haven't piped in much, and mind seeds exist. And even if you all are who you say you are, you've gotten the personal attention of the Inspired. They might be spying on you with divination spells, in which case it would just be stupid to drop our guard. So I'll be keeping my blade out and crossbows pointed at you until we're under divination wards and you're all cleared of curses." She cocks her head. "You'll be wanting our help, I presume."
"U-Um, w-w-well, h-help w-w-would b-be n-n-nice, b-but I-I wouldn't w-w-want to im-impose, w-w-we h-have an e-extraction t-t-team c-c-coming, an-and I-I f-f-figure w-w-we c-c-can h-hunker d-d-down in a l-lee s-s-side c-cave o-or d-depression un-until th-they ar-arrive." Taran taps his fingers on the butt of his crossbow, "S-So... y-y-you c-could j-just l-let us g-g-go, i-if y-you d-d-don't want to g-g-get i-involved."
He gestures to Mister Caelius, "O-Oh, um, an-and, w-w-well, M-Mister C-Caelius is m-mute, s-s-so h-h-he c-c-can't sp-speak. I g-g-generally translate."

Akuma and Vishal:
You two hear the soft crunch of snow near one of the rock piles. It sounds like one person, but you don't see anything.
