Shiaali nods. "I will erase my memory of the particulars of this conversation, to prevent Aktaavi from learning anything," she says seriously. "Good luck." With that, she releases the hold around Kalah, and you finish your tea quickly. You head back out into the audience hall, and Fali escorts the five of you back to your quarters, bowing and departing.
Now, the five of you are alone, besides the glowing clairaudience jewel in the ceiling (this is your in-character reminder that exists ;D).
"I did a basic search of the town last night." Taran says slowly, gesturing with his hands to indicate they needed to delay until tonight, "But we may wish to investigate further if there was anything left behind by the two large beasts that attacked. Or if any of the people have been affected by the Zone's magic. We could also head out and check the city limits, make sure that there isn't a third beast lairing nearby before the Shield Leaves in a few hours."
The group splits up to do their individual things!
Akuma:
You look around and find that there is a very regular and regimented schedule for the guards around. Kalah seems to always be with Shiaali, but the others stay at the perimeter of the mansion unless she tells them otherwise. You're fairly sure the best time to sneak her out would be about an hour after midnight.
Taran:
You find the things listed on the map pinned in Discord. You also manage to identify a good route from the mansion to the wall that only passes two groups of guards.
Vishal:
You also find the things listed on the map pinned in Discord. You also realize that the palace is built of magically reinforced sentira, and the walls are built of solid crysteel. It would be very difficult to go through either quietly, but you think you could get over it. You also notice the clairaudience crystals in literally every living space you walk into--clearly the Thousand Eyes representative Fali is able to listen to just about any location in the village.
(I'm making some assumptions for the sake of time. Please tell me if you feel any are incorrect)
The night of the extraction, Akuma and Taran have been invited to stay in the palace while Vishal, Kaori, and Caelius get ready to meet them behind the palace. The night passes quickly, and soon you reach the appointed time of an hour after midnight.
OOC: Okay, I need to know what Akuma and Taran are doing, obviously. But I would also like to know where the three outside the palace are and what they are doing while waiting.
Taran had lain down and napped soon after Dinner, letting himself drift in a place between waking and dreaming to conserve his strength for the night ahead. As the time approached though, he began preparing.
He pulled up the hood of his new stealth cloak, pulling up the extra cloth in the collar to quiet his breathing and help shroud his face in shadows. His goggles covered the rest of his face, and lit the dark room up in shades of blue. His Crossbow was in its sling, strapped to his side, and he made sure to attach a few items to his belt for quick access. A Tanglefoot bag, a bag of ball bearings, and the oil of slipperiness. He carried the Air Elemental Censer, if things went right, it would be all he needed, and if spotted, he could always say he went to ask the Inspired for a blessing on his meditative incense.
The time struck, Taran took a deep breath, and then stepped back into the flow. Hunting.
Like a shadow he crept out of the room and towards the Inspired's room. He knew the Monk would be heading for the same place. He considered the option of barring or sealing the guard's room, dealing with an angry ogre was not what he wanted today, but the plan was to have the Inspired leave a note about a late night meditation, that false trail would be ruined by such an obvious amount of foul play. Reaching the door of the Inspired, and not wanting to trigger any alarms or suspicion, he slowly pressed the door open. She should be up and waiting for them, but he wanted to see inside before anyone knew he was there.
Akuma spent the evening mentally preparing herself, and her shadows, for the night's plans ahead. She tucked her daggers, darts, and sword neatly in their places amongst her clothes, shoes, and sheath. Enough to keep her items mainly out of sight but within easy access should they be needed. And, once she knew she was ready, she slipped out of the hall and towards the Inspired's room, sticking to the shadows comfortably and quietly, but holding an air of casual traveling should she be confronted. Her shadows thrived in the darkness, their flamelike tongues flicking around her fingers calmly as she traveled through the halls. It didn't take her long to avoid any guards and reach her target.
A few moments after Taran had reached the doors, a dark mist forms around the shadows nearby. Within moments, the mist takes form, swirling slowly and calmly in the darkness before leaving Akuma in its place. She gives Taran a silent nod before tilting her head towards the door, clearly ready to follow his lead. Her hand is resting on the hilt of her sword casually as her eyes flicker between Taran and keeping an eye out down either end of the hall.

Vishal is waiting behind the palace, doing his best to remain unseen as he waits for the operation to start knowing he'll be responsible for helping out if she gets possessed or potentially throwing up a distraction/barrier.

Kaori tries to tuck herself into the shadows, nearby but separate from Caelius and Vishal. Too nervous to focus on anything else, the Kenku also keeps her eyes peeled for anything they aren't expecting to arrive, attempting to watch wherever Caelius isn't.
Inside: The door opens to reveal Shiaali up and dressed and pacing silently, alone in the room. She turns to face you, eyes wide, as the door opens, and relaxes only incrementally at the sight of you two. "We need to hurry," she whispers urgently. "Fali told me tonight at dinner that Lady Sharadhuna dispatched a hunter to the village this morning. If he has access to the teleportation circles, he could arrive at any time. If they knew of my intentions, I would already be possessed and going to a re-education camp, but I cannot think what else would spur the leader of the Thousand Eyes to send one of her personal dogs here." Her voice thrums with tension and fear.
Outside: You all wait quietly in the shadows, some of you stealthier than others. Thankfully, nobody seems to spot you, the two guards that occasionally circle the palace ground occupied with talking quietly and looking at the wall itself, not the garden within it.
"N-Nothing we sh-should b-bother worrying about," he whispers, rubbing the Censer to Summon the Air Elemental as he goes over to the window and opens it, "Wr-write a note, th-that you w-went to a l-late night m-meditation, th-that you were w-worried about wh-what the hunter could mean f-for the area. Th-They will h-hopefully w-wait for you t-to em-emerge.Un-unless she c-can h-hear in th-this room, but th-then ev-everything is bl-blown anyways."
Taran turns back to look at her as the Air Elemental forms, "Y-You f-first, then A-Akuma, I'll cl-close the window and cl-climb after. K-Keep moving, n-no m-matter what."
Shiaali doesn't relax very much at Taran's words, but nods and moves over to her desk, writing the note in a quick, flowing hand. She then moves slowly to the window, looking nervous.
OOC: Alright, I'mma need a Stealth check from Akuma and Taran. The elemental doesn't have to make one--we'll just wrap it up in the other three checks.

Akuma follows carefully after her out the window, a slight pulse of darkened shadows engulfing around them, emanating 30 feet around Akuma to aid in their escape by distorting and hiding their moving presence.

The three of you slip out the window, Taran's words helping steady Shiaali, though they can't do much about her lack of practice being quiet. Fortunately, Akuma's shadows keep you shrouded in shadow, and soon you join Caelius, Vishal, and Kaori in the garden bushes, and it's time to face the next barrier, the wall.
OOC: Okay, here's the deal. The air elemental and Kaori can each take one person at a time. Determine a "marching order", as in who's going in what groups. You'll need 3 groups in total, since there are 5 of you. Then everyone's gonna roll Stealth together, using Akuma's PWT bonus. That's just to keep things moving quickly. We'll go from there.

Taran gestured for the others to go first, commanding the Elemental to take Shiaali over and then come back for one of the others.
Then, as they left. he would scale the wall, his calloused fingers digging into the small crevices as he used the pure momentum of upward movement to keep going up and over.
