(OOC Ok. Also didn't see this post until today. Must be a site glitch...)
She snrks, and grins, before offering a full on, but not mocking laugh. It seems soemone... is overthinking. Which tells me just a bit about you... she allowed those words to linger in the air for a moment, enjoying teasing Cirrus, though a flash of pain crosses her face as her recently severed arm sends a phantom wave. it passes quickly enough, and, with her remaining arm she attempts to pull Cirrus in whether he likes it or not.
If successful, she would guide him to the nearby living room furniture, where tea for one was already set up. I hope you don't mind sharing a cup...
"I would be more than happy to." Cirrus says, not resisting the pull at all. He notices the flash of pain on Stella's face. "I realize that this probably won't help, but I just want to do this just in case there's any residual infection." Cirrus casts a quick healing word for 3 points of healing.
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Cirrus' nervousa causes the healing to be weak but it manages to ebb the pain away and she smiles. And after they sit down, she offers you the first sip of tea. After holding some conversation with Cirrus about how she was never great at sewing and seamstress' that she had always made passable garments. And how she would have to see if she could become a barmaid or something similar.. perhaps help pick fruit from the orchard.
Eventually the night drug on, and she tried to coax Cirrus into the only bedroom there was. What happened after that, whether he went in or not, is better left to the imagination.
In the morning, Cirrus has some light conversation with Stella about there shared history in fashion, and informs her that he will be meeting back up with his group to go over the clues they have on the redbrands, in hopes of making them pay for the atrocious crimes they have committed. This will likely take them into the mountains north of here and he is not sure when he will be back, but he will drop by again unless there is a matter of great urgency. After a final farewell, Cirrus goes to the inn to buy some breakfast (unless Stella made him some) and look for his friends.

Bastille was at the inn having some breakfast. She sees Cirrus walk in. She takes a sip of her tea and says, "Well, good morning Romeo (or the setting's equivalent). I bet you had an eventful night last night?"
Cirrus smirks, "a gentleman keeps that sort of talk to himself, but I will say that the tea was excellent and the conversation was better." Cirrus orders himself a meatless breakfast for however much it's worth, and while he's eating, he's scribbling down the clues he remembers while waiting for Vimak to come down. "You know me, I like to give people second chances, but these people had their second chance a long time ago. They're killers, thieves, and slavers. That's why we're after them. It sounds like they were talking about Cragmaw Castle, which we believe to be to the north in the mountains. So that seems to be where we're headed, although we don't have any other clues to go off of. Before we do go we need to speak with Sildar and hear everything he has to say about Iarno, since he seems to have been working with the redbrands, as well as the Black Spider. Speaking of which, if we do find it then perhaps we can also inquire about the whereabouts of the black Spider, since he also has ties to the redbrands, as well as some probably sinister plans for Gundren."
(OOC: since we took a long rest, I think we get a little exp?)

OOC: Did Vimak learn anything about the long sword during his rest? Is it something he can attune to or just a sword?
Vimak arrives early enough to hear Cirrus. "Yes, my friend. I hope you had a good night," he says. "I agree. Sildar for some help and then the Cragmaw. In fact, after a short breakfast, we should talk to him this morning." Vimak then orders a dozen pancakes, a small ham, five hard-boiled eggs, a gallon of orange juice, and a plate of hash browns. He eats this fairly quickly, belches and says he is ready to go.
“All this talk of goblin lairs reminds me. Vimak, I believe I have yet to see you wield Klarg’s Morningstar. Don’t you want to give it a spin after winning it fair and square at least once?”

"It is a thing of beauty," Vimak says. "But I learned to defend myself with one arm," he shakes his right arm, "and attack with the other," he holds up his left. Both are thick with veins. "I might be wrong, but I think I'm actually a bit better at dissecting my foes that way. Analyzing their moves."
OOC: Wait, isn't Klarg's morningstar a two-handed weapon?

(You're right but it won't be as much as you think, since I gave most of the exp you 'were going to get' after the rest in the cell. The sword is just a +1 sword with a name. Sorry LMOP doesn't have a whole lot of 'special magic items ><. Klargs morningstar would be a 2 hander for most but considering you are basically the same size as Klarg was, I will allow it to be wielded 1 handedly.)
The party eats their respective breakfasts and shares some quick banter.

"Alright, let's go pay a visit to Sildar." Cirrus is going to walk up to whoever is at a bar/desk/reception-table/someone-who-looks-in-charge and ask them if Sildar has a room here, I will describe his appearance if need be. If they have I will ask if they have seen him come down yet (insight to see if whoever I'm talking to is being honest: 8). If not I will tell the group that Sildar is not here and that we should probably check Barthens Provisions.

Cirrus is met with a chuckle from Torben. The man shaking his head. No, no. Master Sildar is in the Townmasters hall. And has been staying there since his arrival. its very clear that he isn't being dishonest with you.
Upon entering the Townmaster's hall, Cirrus asks where Sildar is and if he's available.

Sildar is found within visibility upon entering. It seems the townmaster had been in the opposite chair recently but was currently nowhere to be seen. Sildar himself was using an inkwell and quill to write what upon inspection would seem to be official reports and stamping them with a seal before moving onto the next one. Upon noticing the group, Sildar waves halfheartedly and says It would seem like you all have been quite busy. It also seems as if one of you has been replaced with another. It also seems you folks drug several of the townsfolk into this mess, and they haven't been seen since following you all into the 'den' you found. With a sigh, Sildar stands to his full height, Drawing his greatsword and bearing it's point at the group though aside from this, he makes no directly hostile actions. His face the stern look of someone who's ready to deliver justice if the need arises.
From what I have managed to discover through the rumormill, and some of it I investigated myself; It appears your actions have gotten no less than five citizens of this town to meet an early demise, one of which was displayed in gruesome detail in the center of town. Since then, the redbrands haven't been seen. Leading me to believe that one of you is a plant, or perhaps all of you are secretly allied with Glasstaff. And as such warned him of my arrival, while pretending to be on the side of good.
What say you all in your defense? Sildar seems to tense.
Bastille glares at Sildar and Cirrus feels that she is going to rant at him.
(OOC: Not making her do anything yet because I feel like her going off on Sildar would be a bad idea. Plus I also feel that Cirrus or Vimak might be better suited to talking things out than Bastille since she tends to not care much about anyone.)
Cirrus' face is stony, he feels great shame at being the cause of so many deaths, but will not stand for being accused of something he is innocent of. Cirrus raises his hand, open in preparation to receive something, "Bastille, the letter." Presumably Bastille places the latter to Iarno in his hand. Cirrus dramatically tosses the letter at Sildar's feet, "If you're looking for a plant, start there. We found that letter in the redbrands' lair. It is addressed to someone you know, and would as such know of your impending arrival."
(the letter is one page 41, just so everyone knows.)

Vimak is watching. He's sure Cirrus can show Sildar how little the man knows about what has been going on, but he watches and considers the best maneuvers he might make in response to any violence Sildar might attempt. Just in case.
