Hello. Sorry I went missing before I had a lot going on at work and irl. My character is I. The campaign page now and I’ll talk to sorva how to enter him in since our previous set up isn’t going to happen. 

This is a place holder until I get home from work to post a proper intro.

(your intro will be coming in the cave, possibly another to join us at the same time)

While everyone is attacking, Varax whispers into his dagger and does not make an attack or an appearance from the cloud.

Perception roll needed if you are in the fog as the attacks are happening.

Currently we have Kal, Niche, and Zandrich currently in the forest with Varax, Branagh, and Natalia in the cloud. Everyone notices the goblins look up and can hear and/or see them talk to each other then resume eating. Everyone gets into position and waits for the bird call. As it sounds Bran steps out of the fog, chain mail making an faint tinkling sound but the goblins seem to notice not. Natalia's arrow flies right into one of the goblins throats as she fires from the edge of the fog. Nice's bolt penetrates the goblin wearing armour's leather and he slumps backward in pain. Bran completed his movement and bashes the goblin with a boot sticking out of it in the chest, crushing his bones and you can hear them crunch. Zandrich's arrow thinks into a corpse and Kal's arrow buries itself into a tree right above the goblin. The 2 goblins are dead without a doubt, but the fog begins to glow red, then blue, and finally purple. Natalia turns to see and a gloved hand grabs her.

Bran at this you drop the fog cloud to see what is going on.

Varax has the dagger in one hand, eyes glowing with a creepy smile (joker esque) on his face and his pupils are red. The other hand he has ahold of Natalia and says. "We have questions that you can answer." The voice that comes from him matches that of the dagger you heard earlier Bran and everyone else it is not his own. 

What de' hells Varax?

Kal will start circling around south and west. Bow ready with arrow nocked but pointing down at the moment. His goal is to get around to try and prevent him from just retreating.

The portal opens about 2 feet away from Varax and he digs his fingers into Natalia's wound and uses her as a human shield slowly walking backwards into the portal. Do you take the shot Kal? Does anyone attempt to follow or stop the 2 of them from leaving/disappearing into the portal.

The portal is shimmering silver like a pool of molten metal but not reflecting anything from the current surroundings)

“Heck what is going on?!” Niche is startled by the sudden change of the fog and attempts to go and grab hold of Natalia, trying to pull her away from Varax, “Ughh I knew the dagger is shady, we don’t need this right now there’s still goblins around!”

Niche makes a run to Varax and Natalia, but having to cross the creek between them there is no way to make it there in time, she realizes this after a few steps at a sprint and Varax has taken a step into the portal at this point, partially disappearing.

(Going on more of a cinematic feature than a turn by turn for this...experience with Varax and Natalia.)

 Varax mocks you as you say this Niche Goblins are no match for the power that I world.

I want to try to shoot the the dagger out of his hand. Mechanically, a Disarming attack isn't something that I can reliably do until I gain maneuver at 3rd.

Attack 18  and you can rule if I roll high enough

Kal's arrow flies through the air and is too high to hit the dagger, it rubs against Natalia's leather armor and redirects into  Varax's wrist. The arrow is blocked by his gauntlets but it causes his muscle to release the grip he has currently. He releases the dagger and it falls from his grasp. His eyes return normal and he looks confused. The dagger halts in mid air, runes glowing and flies back into his hand. His eyes blaze crimson red again. Nice try Kal, but you are no match for my powers. Varax says, walking though the portal and taking Natalia with him. The portal is still shimmering in existence...
