“The one that’s supposed to pay us after this, and the reason that we are here and not on our merry way to Phandalin.” Niche whispered to JC, then to the rest of the group,. “We better secure the surrounding area of that rope bridge and keep a keen eye out, there won’t be anything to use for cover once we start to climb it.”
(as far as the "group plan" how do we proceed? Follow the goblin? Go straight to Klarg? A rescue? Something I did not list? (Not trying to guide anything just listing the 3 options I saw posted) Just want to make sure before I proceed with a direction post wise)
Ya want me ta see if'n I can take out de one headin' up from back aways? Maybe a couple o' us try & coordinate suprise shots to take 'im out quick? Den we head 'round towards Klargg?
All the while no one is paying attention. The little halfling JC says as he touches his head Lord? What should I do?(he just blessed him self with guidance and then suddenly wonders queitly to the ladder the goblin went up and tried to queitly follow the goblin to see where it went.
Assuming we all came back together to discuss some distance back, I assume we're going off what Niche told us and we're far enough back that the glow of the light on the shield can't actually be seen by the goblin climbing the ladder?
Does Kal even notice the new halfling headed off on a solo adventure or is he caught up in the planning?

You cast the spell under nobody's direct notice andm away from the party and begin to climb the ladder. You reach the top and (make a perception roll with disadvantage due to lack of light) the goblin 3 is standing near the ledge looking down towards the source of the yells. He doesn't even notice anything else, apparently wrapped up in fear from the threat from the voice. You get the feeling that Klargw not go down easily from how the goblin seems to shake.
he mumbles to the lord for pity for he is not worthy and gains favor from the gods adding 5 to his perception roll.
(Ooc: sorry scratch that I can’t use favor of the gods for a skill check. Don’t want to delete the roll or it will show I cheated. Favor is only for attack rolls and saving throws. Sorry, I realised it after I rolled)
A'right Zandrich. Lez you an me edge up a bit an see if we can take it out, nice an' quiet like. Den we all go 'head an see 'bout dealin' wit dis Klarg?

Niche will hang back for now and content to let the big guys do most of the fighting first.
while others advance she will keep an eye for any other hidden goblins in the vicinity or any sound coming from the passage they just came from (not sure if Bran is still around so I’ll just do perception at disadvantage for now 25 , 27)

As Zandrich and Kal move up, they notice JC standing behind the goblin. The goblins eyes are locked down the path below, but towards the location where the yelling came from.
JC you notice the goblin has only a rusty blade of some kind, and can hear water but you are not sure where.
Everyone hears a goblin voice come from near the current visible goblin (not in common) it is from around the bend that JC can not exactly see from his position. Zandrich and Kal do not see it from below, just the protruding ledge and the goblin atop it (JC is about 15 feet away).

Klarg mad, sound like someone came through door, tells of hummies looking for us. We better hide from Klarg and look for Dem.
Upon hearing this disturbing voice in a unknown language, Jc falls back in shock and says My LORD, what in heavens was that and as he steps back his hands in front of him with his palms facing the direction of the voice. Suddenly the air chills and gets cold as the goblin in front of him resonates with a utter freezing chill as Jc accidentally cast frostbite at th goblin directly In front of him.
As soon as he realised what the lord did he backed off moving back towards his party getting as close as he can to his accomplices before the goblin becomes aware of his presence.
Jc queitly ask the others who is Gundren?
continues to whisper

Jc waits patiently for the lord to guide his way. Eventually he will show him what he needs to see.

3 for the damage if he fails the saving throw and he also has disadvantage on his next weapon attack.
If we see JC attack, Kal nods at Zandrich and lets loose his shot Attack: 6 Damage: 21
