Nedrick retreats just as quietly as he came over as he gets about halfway across the room he notices the clicking stops and he hears movement from behind the rock. From around the corner he sees the monster. A chuul
Rhaucred gasps at the savagery with which the beast strikes nelvik before weaving his hand in an eldritch curse casting hex on the chuul as a bonus action.
As he finishes black tendrils mists seem to condense out if the air and move into the chuul. I curse his strength.
His hands then pulse with green light again as he fires an eldritch blast towards the beast.

Mort's firebolt glances off of the chuul's husk armor and as he flees away, the beast smells the recent magic of a warlock and moves to e,3.
This triggers and attack of opportunity from Hunding!

a voice that has not entered rhaucred's head for some time echoes through his head, but to the rest of the party it merely seems like a look of confusion passes over Rhaucred's face before he seems to talk to himself in the heat of battle.
