Morg family has run caravans since before Morg. Looking tough works good Morg bash skulls, so skull bashing covered. Feng should ride on top, look tough make bandits scared think twice of attacking. Halfling best in back, not be a target. Charmine and Cors scout front, Morg cover rear. Something happen let Morg be the meat shield and bash skulls. Everyone keep eyes open, danger always waiting.
Great idea Morg! I would suggest Talen back up Charmine up front in case things get busy up there and you are in the back, but otherwise good idea. If no one else has anything to add then lets get some sleep. Look forward to working with you all tomorrow. Feng nods his approval of the plan and turns to leave.
Will still need driver. Anyone drive wagons before? Need to know how to get out of traps, bandits will dig holes in road and cover up, try to get wagon stuck or they try the dead horse or broken wagon trick. Driver need to be ready.
Job is deliver. Get attack we attack and move. We caravan not army. Remember job. Morg sometime forget job when get mad, don't like getting hit, forget what doing and just bash skulls.
(OOC - sorry for leaving out Talen and Kyshana, posted late on my tablet (all my notes are on my computer) and just overlooked and didn't get a chance for another post - but nice RP BOBDUR.)
Feng turns back and replies I would think that the owner of the wagon will drive, we need to be more worried about protecting than driving. Feng points his thumb over his shoulder and adds, We can make sure Charmine keeps a look out for traps, I'm hoping he has an eye for that. But with that I think we should head to bed and get rested.
with that Feng walks into his room and kneels in prayer to Ilmater, when his supplication was done he finally decided to fall asleep full of excitement to get this adventure going.
(OOC do our character get access to like a guild bank of items? thinking that healer's kits, some low quality health pots and what not would be good)
Looking around and attempting to speak in a whisper Need to keep an eye on Gundren and his man, especially if something happen. Kata said contract odd - family always say "odder the job, harder the job". Good night, need sleep.
Morg will head upstairs but is way too excited to fall asleep easily. He is ecstatic that his suggestion for the job was not met with the usual outright dismissal and refusal to hear his input from his father, uncles and older brothers.
You are all awoken about an hour after sunrise (unless your early risers) by the slightly softer tinkling of the morning breakfast bell that signifies the first meal of the day. As usual, there’s a range of breads (some toasted), fruits, a very thick cream that is meant to be mixed with the fruits or jams. For the meat-lovers, there’s a tray full of crispy bacon, one of eggs (poached or hard boiled) and rough sausages. All of these are put out on the bar, buffet-style, for you to grab as you want.
It’s about a 20minute walk from the Quad to the Southern Gatehouse’s warehouse. So you guess that you’ve got around an hour and a half for anything you need to do.

Feng, who has been awake for about 30 minutes in using this time to pray to Ilmater to bless each member of the adventure group and praying that his actions that day would be in accordance with His will. At the end of his pray he has been blessed with some new spells to use on this quest.
(Cantrips: Mending, Sacred Flame, Spare the Dying Level 1: Bless, Create/destroy water, cure wounds, healing word, purify food & drink, Shield of faith)
After his morning routine is finished Feng makes his way down to the quartermaster's office. He gently knocks on the door as he enters. Good morning Kuna, I was wondering if there is anyway we can get some materials and supplies for our quest today? Maybe some healer's kits, or low quality health potions? Maybe anything else you would suggest some new member take on their first adventure?
Morg will grab a plate of everything, heavy on the fresh meat, he knows a caravan means countless days of dried meats and he wants to savor this while it is available to him. After people have had a chance to get their breakfast, Morg will grab some more food and wrap it up and place it in his travel pack for a snack on the road. He looks through his pack to make sure he has all he will need and fills his water skin. He wraps his greataxe to camouflage it from eyes on the road and straps it to his back. He puts a leather cover on one of his javelins tip to disguise it as a walking stick, he learned from youth that while a show of strength is good, it is best not to disclose everything to your opponent. Morg is wearing his usual tattered clothes with the addition of leather boots instead of his sandals and an equally tattered waxed hooded cloak that covers his massive frame all the way to his knees.
Accustomed to rising early from having spent most of his life on a farm, Lyle rises up half an hour before the sun does. Quietly he slips out of his bed so as to not disturb his roommates. Greeting the guild's other early risers as he walks, he exits the Guild grounds and makes his way towards his mother's house to visit her one last time before he leaves for Phandelvin.
Kuna looks up from what looks like a tangled mess of metal wires as Feng enters her office and smiles, lifting up the jeweller’s goggles she was wearing. Even though she seems to be working on making something or fixing it, she’s still in a frilly dress. “Well hello again! I take it you were given a job? Give me a second.” And she pushes the mess over to one side of the desk she’s working at (it is covered in burn marks, scratches, and a few tiny slivers of some form of glass or crystal seem to be lodged into a section of it) and pulls out her inventory ledger, flicking through it.
”Okay... we’ve got a few healers’ kits at the moment, how many are you after? As for potions,”she pulls a bit of a face, “well, they’re a bit of a waste really aren’t they! All that time and effort and cost and for what? Oh,” she starts waving her arms around animatedly, ”Sure, they’re okay when the going gets tough but just how useful are they, really? I certainly don’t have the time for making them.” She remembers that you’re there and then looks thoughtful, “I do have a couple of things though, that might help you, of course, they’re in the... early stages of development, but if you’d be interested in trialling them, testing them for me, well,” She grins excitedly, “I’d be able to make them even better.”

Upon seeing his mother's face, Lyle brightens, the anxiety and stress that had been plaguing him practically. He enthusiastically returns the hug, "It's so good to see you too, mother! They've been feeling me well, so you don't need to worry about that. It's nothing compared to your cooking, though." No offense meant to Cookie. The meals are actually significantly smaller than the average Stoutfoot meal, but he didn't want to worry his mother. "How about you? How have you and Lily been doing without me? Are you guys going to be okay without me?"
@rain: An all to familiar look of exasperation and worry flits over his mother’s face, “Lily is...Well, she’s Lily. You know what she’s like, but she’s not gotten into a fights this week, so...” she shakes her head, and tries to sound chirpier, “And the leader of the guild, Kata was it? She dropped by the day before yesterday, she’s pulled some strings and I’ve got a few places to look at for work that I can take Lily with me to. We’ll manage, just...” and she fiddles with your collar and fixes it even though it’s not messy in any way, “Just you try and stay safe, okay?”
