Thomas will sneak in invisible, moving into the officer's room that the main group is in. Standing next to the doorway into the next room, he prepares to strike the sleeping form in this room. He then strikes from the masking of his magic, attacking one of the sleeping officers. He then uses the darkness to hide again.

Shortsword Attack: 24 Damage: 17 (advantage from striking from either invisible or sleeping opponent)
OOC - this is presuming we are going for the tough guys first. He'll be in the same room as everyone else. Auto critical for prone/unconscious? 15

Aleister will shoot the same officer as Thomas is attacking, wants them out of action chop, chop.
Attack 12 plus any extra for sleeping Damage 8
Melee attacks on prone targets get advantage. Ranged attacks on prone targets get disadvantage. You've been doing this for 2 years (game time) and you still don't coordinate attacks properly.
Eek, I did it wrong too. Consider Sarah's attack to have missed. Her Darkness counteracts disadvantage but she's still have flubbed the roll. She'll use Gramps from here on out.

George will shift to his blades as well - shortsword and dagger- new target, furthest from the door (assuming highest-ranking officers sleep furthest from the door)

Your Darkness doesn't counteract the disadvantage of shooting at a prone target. What it would do however is make everyone one else blind. They can't see in magical darkness the way you can. This has become a complete CF.
Have the sleepers been woken by all this chaos? 17
OOC: Is it possible to get some kind of idea about how large the room is? Or even how many people are in it? Sarah did roll a decent Perception check. Honestly, I was working from the assumption it was a relatively large room where she'd be able keep the darkness field away from others. Hence the ranged roll originally. If the room was obviously close quarters, Sarah would have pocketed her bead. It's honestly hard to coordinate when we're running blind.

The officers area is split in to four rooms about 15'x10' each with one to a room. There is a bed, a chair, a footlocker and a small table.
OOC - So then Thomas would pick a far room to attack a sleeping officer, for sure. If there is only one door into the room, so much the better. Unarmoured foes, yes?

OOC: Yeah, that changes things. Bead would not be deployed and ranged was never an option. I agree a far room would be the best bet and them move along. Actually, anyone have a Silence?

Yes. Sleeping in armour is very bad for the back.

No alarm. Inside the area are four rooms two for officers and two for noncoms
