You start tracking the attackers (all this happened 4 days ago) who are heading north east. Checking the map it looks like they are trying to skirt around Portland to the north. A Nature check please to see if you spot something happening to the tracks. If animal form Aleister helps then you get advantage.
OOC - along the way, Thomas will refresh Fire Arrows, and the regular Disguise self illusion. Once in a while, he will practice different Phantom Steed summoning with Gamliel's otherworldly input, to see what kind of creatures he can create to ride.

This was getting very strange. Sarah wondered just how many people the 'bear' was collecting. And why. To stock the larder?

Some more following and you come to a clearing where the group camped for the night. There is a burn pattern on the ground that they have taken some pains to erase and then the group moved on again. Some really good Investigation, Arcana, Perception or Nature checks may reveal what strange things occurred here.
