The largest creature is a water elemental, and the two smaller ones are water weirds (although all of these liquid monsters are kinda weird, ya know?!!?) They move to the island and the elemental rolls across a portion of the island, grabbing one of the figures laying prone. The elemental pulls the figure into itself, where you can see him beginning to struggle!
Penumbra flies towards the creatures and looses a firebolt at one of the water weirds. you see some steam come from the creature as it absorbs the fire-based spell. Droop can take a shot at any of the creatures as they are all within his 80' range of the shortbow.
Manfred blurts out after this initial attack that these monsters are likely resistant to normal attacks...
Perkas finds a spell scroll on the tiefling priestess - mass cure wounds !
Perkas beams a big smile at Manny as she hands him the mass cure wounds spell. After that she will run in line with droop to his left or right on the shore. Line up her Hunters Mark And fire off 2 shots.
"I guess we're doing this then!" Wakka replied before launching hinself into the air once more and landing with a "thud" on the island in between the remaining fallen people and the creatures (or next to them if that's not possible). Pulling out his Axe, he held it out in front of him and prepared to hold them off as long as he could.

One of the water weirds(#2) follows behind the elemental to the island and attacks another prone villager with a 10' tendril of water (10), pulling her into the water.
Perkas returns with the scroll, then pops off two bolts towards the elemental. (unless you want a different target...) The magic of her crossbow cable makes these projectiles effective against the water-based creature.
The other water weird (#1) also moves to the island, attacking a third villager. (22)

On a failure, take 9 bludgeoning damage and be grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, you are restrained and unable to breathe unless you can breathe water. If the saving throw is successful, you are pushed out of the elemental's space.)
The water weird (#2) flows towards Penumbra and slings a watery tendril up to constrict her! (10' range) Attack: 15 Damage: 11(On a successful hit, you are grappled (escape DC 13) and pulled 5 feet toward the water weird. Until this grapple ends, you are restrained and the water weird tries to drown you!)

Manfred uses his Anstruth Harp to cast Levitate on one of the Water Weirds…. (DC14 CON ST to avoid being levitated 20feet into the air)
Having never fought... water before, Wakka chose the wrong way to defend himself and was completely engulfed by the water elemental; the crushing waters making it hard for him to breathe or break free.
(I'm assuming the grapple check to escape starts next turn but let me know otherwise if that's not the case)

Penumbra deftly dodges the water weird's attack and sends a chill touch it's way. She then uses Cunning Action to disengage and moves just out of it's reach hoping to draw it away.

Penumbra starts leading the water weirds away from the island and back towards her comrades on the docks. She uses her chill touch to damage the water creature as she goes.
Droop sends two arrows at the same water weird. Again, the normal arrows don't seem to damage it as much.
(4) The large elemental creature continues crushing both creatures it holds, killing the villager and doing 13 bludgeoning damage to Wakka. It moves back into the water and rapidly closes the distance to where the party stands! It makes two attacks, slamming 3 and 2 (1-2=Manfred ; 3-4=Droop ; 5-6=Perkas) with appendages of water. (It's like having the pool belly flop you!)

Taking another beating inside the creature, Wakka thrashed about wildly and managed to pull himself outside and out of the Water Elemental. Seeing the other person still trapped inside, Wakka attempted to pull him out using his mental powers.
Athletics check: 20 (Pass!)
Bonus action: Telekinetic Shove- DC14 STR save to push the trapped person outside of the Water Elemental. (OOC: Is this something Wakka could do? Would the Elemental make the save to see if it holds on to person?)

(@Zoldier - Wakka is successful in escaping from the creature in Round 2, so no damage to you at the beginning of the creature's turn in round 3! As far as getting the villager out, you could pull him out of it by taking an action to make a DC 14 Strength check and succeeding. But your action was getting yourself out, so I'll make a save by the elemental to keep the villager inside it! DC14 Str: 6 SUCCESS!! You may also post an action for Round 3.)
(UPDATED ACTION, SAME ROLLS!) The elemental stayed on the island since both Wakka and the villager escaped. Its attacks against the psi-fighter miss (two nat 1's!!)

Having managed to pull the himself and the other body out of the elemental, Wakka stood before the prone body and defended it against the raging swirl of water. Blocking one strike with his axe and another with his flying shield, he retaliated with full force; hoping to hold the creature off until his friends could arrive to help.

Wakka's magical axe bites twice, partially freezing the elemental with each hit! (Freeze. If the elemental takes cold damage, it partially freezes; its speed is reduced by 20 feet until the end of its next turn.) He then takes a deep, steadying breath, forcing the pain out of his mind and willing himself to fight on.

Continuing to lure the water weird away Penumbra once again disengages using cunning action, moves away form the thing and casts another chill touch.

Droop observes Penumbra's tactic and tires to do the same with the other weird currently attacking him. Disengaging with cunning action then moving away (along the shore in the opposite direction that Penumbra is heading) and loosing two arrows at weird #1.

Penumbra's spell is effective against the water weird(#2), continuing to damage the creature. Droop moves in the opposite direction along the shore, hitting the other weird(#1) with both arrows.
The elemental is challenged by Wakka, and it doesn't like it! Although it is partially frozen, it is close enough to try and overwhelm the fighter again, flowing around him. (Make a DC 15 Strength saving throw. On a failure, you take 17 bludgeoning damage and are grappled (escape DC 14 on your turn).)
Water weird(#2) follows the flying tiefling, enraged and lashing out at her. Attack: 14 Damage: 20(If hit, you are grappled (escape DC 13) and pulled 5 feet toward the water weird. Until this grapple ends, you are restrained and the water weird tries to drown you!)
Perkas continues to fire away at the elemental on the island, her magically enhanced crossbow hitting again and again! As the second bolt strikes the watery creature, it loses its form and splashes down to the ground!
