Bankur recovers from his stumble and somehow manages to not wake any of the sleeping villains. Moving as quietly and cautiously as possible Bankur moves next to the closest sleeping redbrand and whispers. "May Ilmater find enough grace in your soul to ease the suffering I am about to inflict on you."
With that Bankur brings his mace down onto the sleeping man's head in an overhand smash.
Attack: 13 Damage: 8
(I would like this damage to be non-lethal. I'm trying to knock him unconscious, not kill him, but I'm not sure exactly how that works.)

Surprise Round: Penumbra oils the hinges and quietly opens the door. She slips silently into the room, keeping close to a wall she moves to the nearest sleeping Redbrand. As quickly as she can Penumbra puts her daggers to use on the man, but the frame of the bunkbed prevents her from effectively using both daggers. Her rogue training allows her to cause some extra damage, though. (One hit plus Sneak Attack Damage = 8 damage...)Bankur swings his mace down hard on the man in the top bunk, only to have the shaft of the mace catch the edge of the bed! (No damage)Salty Joe sweeps in last and tries to stab Penumbra's target, but the sturdy bunk beds foil his attack too! (No damage)
Round 1: Before the thug can even react, Penumbra lets loose another attack with her twin daggers. (Still has advantage - forgot to roll these in previous post...Attack 1: 22 : Attack 2: 11 : Sneak Attack damage: 5)This time, her attacks strike true and the ruffian is dispatched!
The remaining ruffians, rudely awakened from their snooze, jump out of the bunks and come out swinging, attacking Bankur and Penumbra but doing no damage!

Bankur backs up a step as the thug stands up from his bunk. Crouching behind his shield defensively he blocks the first redbrand attack, the blade glancing off the shield with a loud ring. As Bankur parries the first attack, the second one is launched immediately at his now vulnerable weak side. Bankur deftly side steps that attack and brings his mace in to parry it in the same movement.
Now on the offensive, Bankur squares up to the thug and brings his mace around in a sweeping strike targeting the thug's mid-section.

Rand moves up to the door, but does not see how he can enter the fray, so he decides to antagonize. "Oh, you two are as good as dead. My friend Bankur can kill you without breaking a sweat. Come to think of it, I don't know if he can sweat. But I digress, short story, you're as good as dead. (Intimidation: 12)

Seeing that the room appears to be packed with people from his current vantage point Valefor will stay put shifting his focus into his familiar so he can watch the other doors and listening for any back up coming.
None of the attacks actually manage to hit the ruffians - the close quarters combat stymieing Bankur's and Salty Joe's best efforts! Rand's efforts at intimidation are met with looks of trepidation from the two surly redbrands... (Top of round 2 - Penumbra up!)
(Herc, I think Rhanloi granted the group advantage on the stealth check. You might get another roll?)
